Chuck vs The Office: Possible Proposal

AN: One of the possible proposal scenes I had planned for the final chapter of Chuck vs The Office. Enjoy.

Chuck couldn't help but smile as he sat on the beach with the love of his life. They had finished dinner and the sun had just began to set, the ring box in his pocket felt like it weighed a ton. The weather was perfect at the sky was turning a pinkish color as the sun began to set.

"Sarah, look. Their's something I've been meaning to say to you..."

And then it happened. And then the pinkish color of the sky disappear into grey as dark clouds began to cover the sky and setting sun. Quickly a light drizzle of rain, turned into a full on downpour. The two of them stood to pack up the things and get in the car.

Chuck cursed inside his head. It was perfect. Perfect, absolutely perfect, he had tailored it to be both romantic and about them, yet not too over the top. And then the rain decided to ruin everything. Now he would have to wait. The raining was soaking him to the bone as he contemplated and groaned at the unfortunate turn of events.

And then...

"All you need is the girl."

That was what Casey had said. He had the girl, the girl who he wanted to spend the rest of his life with and love forever. It didn't matter if it was raining or where they were. If they had each other that's all that would matter.

He propped himself down on one knee and called out to her.

She turned around, upon seeing the ring box in his hand and his position, her eyes went wide.

"Chuck," she felt her breath hitch in her throat, she couldn't breathe for a second.

"Sarah," he flashed a sort of nervous smile. "Sarah, don't freak out." It didn't matter that the sky was grey or that they were both soaking wet. He was going to do this.

"Sarah, I love you," he took a deep breath. "When I'm with, I am the happiest that I've ever been and there is nothing," he let his mouth catch up with his brain. "Nothing that I want more than to spend every day, for the rest of my life with you."

The rain kept pouring, they were both soaked to the bone now. But neither of them cared.

"This was not how this was supposed to go," he cracked a little nervous joke. "Look, Sarah. The point is that I love you, more than anything in this world. And I know that it hasn't been that long since we started dating...But when we're together, none of that matters to me," he paused.

"I am happier than I have ever been, when we're together. And I want to spend everyday for the rest of my life, loving you and making you happy as you've made me. Sarah Walker, will you do me the honor of becoming my wife?"

Sarah didn't reply, instead, she knelt down to his level and pulled him in for a passionate kiss, wrapping her arms around the back of his neck. When they finally pulled away (a need for air more than anything), he asked:

"So is that a yes then?"

"Yes," Sarah grinned. "God, yes, Chuck."

He had a big grin on his face as he slipped the ring onto her finger. It was a perfect size.

It wasn't long before they resumed the fiery passion from just moments earlier. Eventually standing up to get back into the car, albeit soaking wet, and head home to celebrate their engagement properly.

Chuck and Sarah arrived at the beach boyfriend and girlfriend.

They left an engaged couple.

AN: Hope you enjoyed that. That was one of my possible proposal scenes from vs The Office. Thanks for reading. Please review.
