ML54: I am very sorry for the short chapter but I started working on this chapter and my mind drew a blank...
Pikachu: Probably because your mind is clogged with Ponies.
ML54: Yeah that'd make sense... Also, while on the subject, I'd like to ask for people to stop leaving reviews on my MLP fanfics to update my Pokemon ones because it's starting to annoy me. When I see a reviewon my MLP fanfic, I want to know what someone thought of it, not to be asked for something I'm drawing a blank on. I'm thankful for all of my fans but I can't help it if I take a while to update a fic!
Oshawott: ML54 doesn't own Pokemon.
"Ah man! Did someone get the license plate to that truck?!" Sparky thought to himself, rising himself up on his weak arms, wincing his left eye open. "R-Richie!"
"Urg...Five more minutes Dawn!" He heard Buneary's voice a little bit away from him. He turned to the side to see her ears rolled up, but it looked like she was straining to do so. "I don't wanna go to school!"
"...I don't think we have to go to school Buneary..." Sparky replied, shaking her a little. "Are you okay?"
She turned to face him, her eyes now open, and he noticed a small cut just above her nose. "I'm fine...Wait where are we?!" She suddenly exclaimed, throwing herself up, extending her ears, accidentally smacking him on the chin.
"Ow!" He cried out, grabbing his head and chin in his paws, feeling a headache start to rise. "I don't know. After Wobbuffet used Mirror Coat, there was an explosion and we all just sort of...flew off."
"Oh...Hm...I feel like we should have said something as that was happening." Sparky rose a pokebrow at her. "You know, like, Team Awesome is blasting off for the first time!"
He chuckled a bit at the joke; she was obviously trying to lighten the mood a little. "We'll need to come up with a new team name, but I don't think I want to make this a regular thing." He then got to his feet, helping Buneary to hers as well.
She then drew her breath and yelled out. "HELLO! ANYONE ELSE HERE!" Sparky flinched, lowering his ears to his skull.
After a few seconds silence, she turned to him and said. "I don't think there's anyone else here."
"Yeah...I guess it's just the two of us then..." He replied, suddenly finding a lot of interest in his feet. "Damn...Um...come on you idiot say something!" "Ugluh..."
"Huh?" She replied, raising her pokebrow at him.
"When I said SOMETHING, that's not what I had in mind!" "Um...I mean maybe we should find the others?"
"Oh okay!" She smiled brightly, hopping in front of him. "This way! I think we came from over there, it's a good a place as any to start!"
"Yeah sure..." Sparky replied, walking next to her, hurrying on his feet a little more to match her speed. "C'mon man up! This is a good an opportunity as you're going to get to be alone with her! Pay her a compliment! Her fur, her eyes, her ears...Are ears an acceptable compliment?"
As he pondered this, he glanced to his side and watched as she shined in the twilight hours of the evening, her fur glistening in the orange glow, her eyes reflecting what was left of the setting sun...and all he could think to say was. "Nice gums..."
"What?" She replied, having not really heard him.
"Uh..." "GUMS! You chose to compliment her GUMS!" "I mean uh...nice night?"
"Oh, yeah it sure is...I just kind of wish we were experiencing it under better circumstances." Buneary replied, her ears drooping slightly.
"Hey, we'll find them...This isn't the first time I've been separated from Richie and, if I'm one to judge, it probably won't be the last. But we always find each other in the end. And I'm sure Dawn and you have shared these experiences before too."
"Yeah. Once in a maze. Me, Pikachu and a baby called Happiny were all together...It was fun..."
"Hey, I can be fun..." Buneary recoiled a bit and shook her head.
"Sorry, I didn't mean to say you're not fun..." Sparky grinned, getting down on all fours.
"You better not be..." He suddenly tapped Buneary on the arm with his tail. "Tag! You're it!" He called, rushing off ahead. "There you go champ! That a boy!"
Buneary's eyes widened slightly, before she giggled and chased after him. "I won't be for long!"
Tepig nudged Pansage with the tip of his nose, desperately trying to wake the Pokemon up. He, Pansage, Emolga, Axew, Scraggy and Mime. Jr had landed in a shallow river and he was the only one conscious through the entire ordeal.
So he's been trying to wake the Grass-Type up, since he was better at dealing with injuries, since Emolga's foot was looking even worse than before. He had tried his best to defend her, but there was only so much damage he could absorb for her before it started to overwhelm him.
Suddenly, an ear shattering scream resounded though the area, causing Pansage, Mime Jr., Axew and Scraggy to shoot up from there unconscious states and turned to face where the scream had come from.
They saw Emolga hunched over, clenching her foot, holding onto it, hoping that applying pressure would reduce the overwhelming pain she felt as soon as she woke up, to no success.
"Oh Hell!" Tepig cursed, rushing over to her side. "Pansage I need your help!"
"Right." Pansage replied, rushing over to her other side. "Where's she feeling the pain?"
"Oh I don't know, maybe the swollen, purple foot!" Tepig snapped, pointing out the rather obvious injury.
"Don't get snappy with me, I just wanted to make sure!" Pansage responded, looking the foot over. All Grass-Type Pokemon have a basic level of understanding when it comes to healing, but he was no Audino. "Um...It's hurt?"
"No shit, Sherlock?!" Tepig berated, holding out his foreleg for Emolga to cling to. "Here, Emolga, bite me, it'll help get rid of some of the pain."
Tears streaming down her face, she immediately did as Tepig said, clamping her teeth onto his outstretched leg, causing Tepig to grit his teeth at the pressure.
Pansage pulled a herb out of his scalp and started to rub it between his fingers to create some sort of rub, which he then started to apply to the wound. After about five minutes, her screams started to subside as the pain started to numb.
Tepig turned to him and he smiled in relief. "Painkiller...It's not a cure, but it'll do...For now."
"Right. Let's try and find somewhere for the night then, it looks like it'll be dark soon..." Tepig responded, picking Emolga up and laid her across his back, to which she smiled in thanks.
"Is Aunt Emolga going to be okay?" Axew asked Pansage, worriedly. He grinned down and patted him on the back.
"Of course, champ don't worry. We got this!" He responded as the group made their way out of the river and towards the bank.
"Alright, this looks as good a place as any..." Oshawott muttered as he entered an abandoned den, sniffing around for any recent use...
...He got something very unfamiliar. "Shit...Okay, maybe I can reason with them...I mean, Pikachu is real..." He suddenly saw a flash and dived to the left, making sure to soften Pikachu's landing with his own body.
He laid her down as gently and quickly as possible just in time to be tackled by a quadruped, Pokémon covered primarily in pale cream-colored fur with pinkish feet, ears, and tail. There are two bows on it, one on its left ear and one around its neck, from which two feelers adorn it. The bows are pale cream with pinkish centres, while the feelers are pale cream with pinkish and blue tips. Its eyes are blue with white pupils and no visible sclera.
It snarled, baring it's pointed canines at the otter, who responded with a Water Pulse to the face.
The Pokemon stepped back as Oshawott held out his paws. "Stop! Please! I need help!" The Pokemon tilted it's head in confusion. "My friend. She was attacked and she really needs a safe place to heal up and I can't keep searching in the dark! Please!"
The Pokemon pondered this for a while, looking over towards the yellow mouse with the sling around her arm and nodded. "Very well..." It said, showing it to be female. "You may rest your heads here tonight..." She continued, before walking over towards the other side of the den to lay down.
"Th-thank you..." Oshawott replied, relieved, going to sit by Pikachu to adjust her to a proper seating position. "...I'm sorry, I didn't catch your name."
She looked up at him with a small smile. "It's Sylveon..."
ML54: As I said, it's a short one but it gives me somewhere to go to once I get back to it. I want to give you guys quality and if it takes me a long time, well it's better to wait for something good then to get shit quickly.
Tepig: Please review, but don't flame him.
