Something Old

Molly hadn't really put much stock in old sayings, but it was her wedding so she should be allowed to be a little superstitious. The one saying that no one seemed able to forget at weddings had wrung in Molly's ears all morning. When she clasped her grandmother's pearls around her neck she heard the whispers.

Something New

Wedding dresses were generally the something new in weddings weren't they? In Molly's case though she really thought of her shoes as the newest part of her ensemble. She had spent an exorbitant amount of money on her new, sparkly high heels, but it was money well spent in her opinion. The shoes were so comfortable that she was sure she could wear them all through the night.

Something Borrowed

Molly remembers stressing about what to borrow for her wedding, but when she remembered the hairpiece that her best friend had worn at her own wedding Molly knew exactly what she wanted to ask for. Mary had been wonderful about lending Molly the delicate hairpiece and helped to place it in Molly's elegant up do.

Something Blue

Molly nearly cried whiten she discovered what her mother had planned for her. Inside the bodice of her wedding dresses just over Molly's heart was a piece of fabric taken from her dad's favourite blue work shirt. It had been cut into the shape of a heart and gave Molly the since of having her father there with her even when he couldn't be.
