A/N: Hiiiiiiyaaaa! Thanks guys so much for the reviews, they mean a lot! Guests, wizardsfanatic10, smileysteph, mkpunk, BurkelyDuffieldLover and anyone else! Well, I'm gonna use one of the ideas I mentioned in the last chap – all the gang are gonna hang out. So it's gonna be like the previous Hanging Out chap except this time it's post Jalex. Yay! So expect Jalex, banter and Marcus and Matt (they need no introduction haha). So enjoy!
Disclaimer: I do not own WOWP.
"You guys aren't gonna make out all night, are you?" Ashley asked, a little irritated.
Alex and Justin broke apart and Alex turned to look at Ashley, also irritated but for a different reason, "Well not any more." she huffed, shifting into a comfortable position next to Justin.
"Yeah, I mean, it's cute and all but too much of it makes me want to either throw up or hurt you guys." Marcus said to them, munching on some popcorn.
"I'll do the hurting part." Ashley added, raising her hand – she was quite a tough girl so she wasn't one to be messed with.
"I love our friends." Justin said sarcastically.
"Hey, what about me? I haven't been here to see what lead up to all this so I am totally freaked out right now." this comment came from the one and only Max Russo. Yes, Max had come back home from college and was hanging out with Justin, Alex and their friends – he was older now (21 in fact) so it was fine for him to hang out with the older kids, have a few beers etc. He was happy for Justin and Alex, of course he was but since he had been away, it was weird because the last time he was here they were the best of friends and nothing more and then he leaves and comes back and now they're head over heels in love. Weird but good weird.
"Hey, guys! Don't be mean. I think we should all share the love." Matt said, outstretching his arms as though asking for a hug.
"None of us will make out with you." Alex nudged his head with her foot as he was sitting on the floor next to the chair Justin and Alex were sitting in.
"Oh, and don't look at me. I've moved on." Marcus said dramatically (well, he said nearly everything dramatically. It was his personality).
"You people are cold." Matt brought his arms back to himself and crossed them over his chest, narrowing his eyes at each of the others.
"I'll give you hug if that helps?" Max offered with a shrug.
"Maybe later, big man." Matt said to the younger Russo.
"Now I see why I don't hang out with your friends often." Ashley's boyfriend, Zac said to her. It was true, he didn't often hang out with Ashley and her friends since he obviously had his own friends (less weird friends) but he did occasionally join Ashley when she was with her friends. They were a unique bunch.
"Yeah... we should hang out with your friends instead." Ashley replied before leaning her head on his shoulder.
"You can't leave me with these people!" Alex exclaimed.
"Hey!" they all protested.
"Fine. By 'these people' I mean Matt." Alex corrected. "And Zeke." she added quickly.
Zeke put his hand over his heart, "I feel hurt but somehow it's expected." he said thoughtfully.
Alex turned to Justin, "Oh, and you don't count as one of them any more. Unless you annoy me."
"Wow, don't I feel special?" Justin said – again, with a sarcastic tone.
"Yeah, we really need to talk about your over-usage of sarcasm." she said to him, giving his shoulder a light pat.
"Yeah that's an unfortunate side-effect to hanging out with you for several years." Justin retorted.
"Hey, you should be thankful to me! I made you funnier, cooler and now you actually have friends!" Alex protested.
"I had friends!" Justin said.
"Don't you mean friend?" Alex said, before turning to look at Zeke.
"Don't listen to her Justin! We had some good times!" Zeke gave his old friend a thumbs up and a grin.
Alex turned back to look at Justin with a raised eyebrow. He said nothing and simply looked at her before blinking and looking away at the rest of the group, "Point taken, can we move on now?"
Alex laughed to herself, shaking her head before giving him a kiss on the cheek.
"Alright, change of subject from Justin's embarrassing childhood." Matt said, causing Justin to lean forward and whack him on the back of the head. Matt glared at him before putting the smile back on his face, "Well, I met a girl."
"And you're still hitting on us?" Ashley asked incredulously.
Matt shrugged, "Force of habit."
"Hey, Matt, why do you never hit on me?" Harper asked.
"Well Harper, that is because you can be genuinely scarywhen you want to be." Matt told her.
Harper smirked, "Oh yeah, I'm a bad ass."
"I'm proud of you, honey." Zeke smiled at Harper proudly.
"Uh, OK then... who's the girl, man?" Max asked, looking weirdly at Zeke and Harper.
"Yeah, who's the apple of my buddy's eye?" Justin teased, ruffling Matt's hair.
"OK, seriously! This hair is wasted on you people." Matt said dramatically, fixing his hair. "Anyway, her name is Skye, she's real pretty, seems awesome and I'm taking her out tomorrow night." Matt informed them, looking happy with himself.
"Aww." Marcus cooed.
"Let's just hope this one lasts. Oh! And if it does, we have to meet her." Alex said.
"Why? So you can be best friends or so you can tell lies about me?" Matt turned to her.
"Sweetie, you wish they were lies." Alex snorted.
"Whatever. I have a good feeling about this girl." Matt smiled to himself.
"Aww." this time everyone cooed.
Matt bashfully waved his hand, "Stop it!"
They all laughed at him before Justin spoke up again, "Well, we're all happy for you, man. And please let this one last."
Matt chuckled, "I'll try. And thanks you guys. I just hope you know that me making fun of you is my way of showing that I love you guys."
"How much have you had to drink?" Ashley laughed.
Matt looked at the bottle of beer in his hand, "Yeah... maybe a little too much." he laughed too.
"Hey, Matt, maybe we could double date." Alex joked as she got up to go to the kitchen to get some more food and drink.
"Oh! You could double date with us too!" Zeke piped up happily.
"Uh, yeah." Matt said, trying to be nice. He's not sure he could manage that much time with Zeke and Harper. And since they'd be on a date they'd be even more couple-y.
He then looked in the direction of Ashley and Zac, thinking they would make an offer being the only other couple in the room. Ashley frowned, "Uh, no, not us."
Matt breathed a sigh of relief, "Oh thank god. That would've been awful." he said, slightly joking.
"You're telling me." Zac mumbled, making Ashley giggle.
Max stood up, "I'm gonna go see if Alex needs a hand."
Max walked into the kitchen and saw Alex getting more drinks out of the fridge, "Sup sis!"
Alex turned to look at him and laughed, "You're really gonna start calling me that?"
"Well, yeah, I mean we were practically family before but now that you and Justin are together it really feels like we're family." Max shrugged.
Alex smiled, "Well, that's very sweet. And I guess I always thought of you as a younger brother anyway."
"Cool." Max grinned. "Did you ever think of Justin as a brother?"
Alex frowned, "No. Never. For some reason it just didn't feel like that with us. I guess now I know why."
"Oh... so you're saying you and Justin were like, fate or something? Meant to be and all that crap." Max asked her, stroking his chin thinking about his theory.
"Uh, I guess..." Alex answered.
"I see..." Max said thoughtfully.
Alex just looked at him weirdly before shaking her head with a smile and giving Max a side hug, "You really are one of a kind."
"I know." the younger Russo nodded.
"OK, well you take these." Alex handed him some drinks to take into the living room.
"Cool. Hey, do you want me to make these into a pyramid? Y'know, a beer pyramid." Max asked.
Alex laughed, "No, simply carrying them is just fine."
They walked back into the living room and put all the drinks on the table for everyone to take as they pleased. Alex sat back down next to Justin.
"So you and Max are still close then?" Justin asked her.
Alex grinned, "Yeah, practically family."
A/N: Did y'all like that? It was pretty fun to write. At the time I'm writing this chap, I've just finished watching every single episode of Friends so that inspired me a little (damn that show is amazing!). And Max came back! Yay! See, I started writing this chapter but then about half way through I remembered that I wanted Max in this chap so I just had to try and fit him in. I'll try and put him in some of the later chaps but I gotta be honest, this story is nearing its end. I mean, they're together now and everybody knows so... Anyway, there still will be a few more chaps and probably an epilogue. OK, I'll be quiet, review!
Oh and remember I'm posting my new story Love/Hate today cos it's my birthday and I love giving you guys a present on my birthday cos you guys are so so so amazing all the time!
