A/N: Before any of you ask why this chapter was very late, here is a message to any game developers that might be reading this story: Never release games close to one another, because it screws up lots of gamer's lives. With GTA V, Payday 2 and Saints Row VI, I can say that my life is quite full at the moment.

Anyway, the poll on the side paring for Ash has been restarted because I learnt a bit later that Serena was an old friend of Ash, and that could lead into a relationship. So you need to cast your vote again.

A faint glow appeared in a forest near the PWT. When the glow disappeared, 9 people and two pokemon were lying down, knocked down from the teleport. Slowly, they all got up, very sore though.

"Eric, remind me why we teleported again? Last time it didn't end that well." Asked Ben, who seem to have teleported with Eric before.

"Well Ben, the only reason we did was because it was much quicker then to travel by sea or air." Eric replied, slightly light headed from teleporting too many people at once. "We are at Unova at least, but I do not know how close we are to the PWT."

Wes pulled out his poke-nav. "It seems we are quite close to the PWT, although it will take some hours to get there. But where are we going to stay once we get there?" he asked, not wanting to stay at the pokemon centre.

"Well, I do have a 'small' house there that we could use. Even though it's quite small, I do believe we could use it." Ben said.

"Well, we know where we are staying, so why don't we stop chatting and head there?" Ash asked. They all agreed and began the long walk towards Driftveil City.

The trip to Driftveil didn't take that long, although the silence from the walk made it uneasy. When they got to the city, Ben led the group toward his house. After a 5-minute walk, they got to the house, which was in fact an apartment.

"Well, this is where I live!" he said. "My apartment isn't much, but at least it has a roof." He led the group into the building, and led the group up the stairs into the building. He stopped at the first floor and walked to the first door on the left. "Just in here" he said, opening the door. When he opened the door, his Espeon came up to him.

'Ah Ben! You've returned! How was the meeting?' she asked. Everyone looked around for the voice in their head except for Ben, Rosa and Nate.

"Here is a word of advice: never let Eric teleport you twice." He said.

Espeon looked at him weirdly. 'Eric?' she asked. By now, everyone had their eyes on Espeon.

"The guy who picked me up." He answered back. He turned to the rest of the group. "Espeon hasn't mastered telepathy yet, so sometimes you can hear what she says." He said. "You can crash here during the tournament. Just don't let any big pokemon come inside, other wise it's coming out of your pay. Your rooms are upstairs, just don't take the room with the king size bed. " They all nodded and went to explore the house. Rosa came up to Espeon.

"Hello Espeon!" she said in a cheerful way. Espeon turned her head to Rosa.

'Rosa! How nice to see you again!'

While Rosa and Espeon talked about what has happened in last 6 weeks, Ben went into the lounge room and lounged onto the couch and fell asleep.

A few hours later

"Excuse me, do you know if someone named Ben lives here?" a fat man in a blue Hawaiian shirt and Black sunnies said.

The attended look up from where she was. "Ah Scott! It's good to see you again! If you're looking for Ben, just go up the stairs and it's the first door on the right" she said.

"Thank you miss. I'll be on my way" Scott said. He headed up the stairs, stopped at the first floor and went to the first door on the right. He knocked 3 times and waited. 5 seconds later and the door opened to reveal Rosa at the entrance.

"Scott it's good to see you again!" she said.

"Rosa! What a surprise! I didn't expect to find you here!" he said back to her. "I'm looking for Ben, do you know if he is here?"

"Yea he's here. Why do you wan to see him?" she asked

"Yes, I need to tell him some things about the tournament. Do you mind if I come in?"

"No not at all. Please, come in!" she said. As soon as Scoot got inside the house, Ben appeared coming down the stairs of the house. "Ben? Weren't you sleeping on the couch?"

Ben looked at Rosa. It was only then that Scott noticed Ben's eye colour was red.

"Nah I told Zoroark to come and get you. I was busy with getting everyone a room here." He said, getting to ground level. He then turned to Scott. "Scott! What can I do for you?"

"I have some things I need to tell you and some other people about the tournament. And plus, I need to talk to Ash about something." Scott said

"Ash? I don't know anyone called Ash." Ben said, looking very confused.

Scott frowned. Eric had told him that he told everyone that they could trust Scott. Either Ben didn't listen to Eric, or he just forgot like he usually does. He guessed the 2nd option.

"Remember what Eric said Ben? Eric said that you could trust Scott." Rosa said.

"Rosa, what are you talking about? Eric didn't say anything about . . Oh. Your right." Ben turned back to Scott. "Sorry about that. I must have forgotten again." He said, rubbing the back of his head sheepishly.

Scott just shook his head. Some things never changed. "Right then. Moving on, I need you to get everyone that you've brought here for a meeting regarding the tournament. Think you can do that without forgetting?"

Ben took in a rather long breath." HEY EVERYBODY! SCOTT HAS SOME INFORMATION REGARDING THE TOURNAMENT! GET OVER QUICK!" he turned to Rosa and Scott, who had their hands over their ears and sweat drops visible on the back of their face. "Does that answer your question?"

"Did you have to be so loud Ben? I bet the people next door can hear you!" Rosa said.

"What people? I'm the only person who lives in this apartment. It was only opened a few days ago."*1

"I know, but still, did you have to be that loud?" Ben shrugged his shoulders.

Soon everybody was gathered in the dinning room. "So Scott, what did you want to tell us?" Asked Gary.

Scott cleared his throat. "From what I've seen, this tournament isn't a huge one. It only contains 128 people in it, but the people in it are at least elite level. Every champion and elite four member will be there. Starting tomorrow, it's 1v1 till it's down to the top 64. From there, it will be a 2 on 2 until the top 32. The top 16 will be decided with a 3 on 3 battles. The rest of the battles will be a full 6 on 6 matches. The winner of the whole thing will walk away with $1,000,000 and the chance to fight the King of the champions: Pokemon Master Red."

When he finished his talk, everyone went silent. Pokemon Master Red was known as the toughest trainer in the world. His Pikachu could take down all of the champion's pokemon in a row without even trying. Ash was the first to speak.

"That is some prize for coming first. Are we allowed to use legendary pokemon?"

"While they are allowed, you can't use them in the fight against Red if you make it that far."

Gary was next to speak. "Is there anyone that we know that's entering the tournament?"

"From the entrees that I've got, Max, Trip, Paul, Richie, Serena, Hilda and Hugh are entering the thing. Anything else anyone wants to ask?" After a few seconds, no one nodded. "Right, that's all I came here for, but before I leave, I would like to talk to Ash about something."

Ben looked at his watch. "Well, would you look at the time? It's 10:30 already. I think I might be having an early night tonight. Walking to Kanto takes a lot of effort, and it's going to be a big day tomorrow. Catch you all then." He said, walking towards his bedroom, Rosa following him. Gary, Michael and Nate headed up the stairs and into their bedrooms. Eric, Wes and Rui headed to their bedroom on the ground floor.

Ash turned to face Scott. "So, what did you want to tell me?"

Scott's usually happy mouth turned into a serious frown. "It's about Max, Ash."

"What about him?" he asked, slighted worried of what has happened to him.

"Well, he has been possessed by the King of Poke-lantis, and there is no chance that can remove him from his body."

"What do you mean there's no chance that we can remove him from Max's body?"

"I mean exactly that." He answered. "The king has somehow bonded himself to his body, and while he had some control over it, the king does have some outbreaks from time to time. The stone poke-ball that holds him has been destroyed, and there is no way to rebuild it."

Ash thought about it for a few moments. "So basically, there is no way to save max from the king?"

Scoot shook his head. "Nope. I'm sorry Ash, but the king is stuck in his body forever. Other then that, some people say that he has spent a lot of time in Kalos. I don't know why, but you might want to keep your guard up just in case anything happens."

"Well, if that's the case, I better keep my guard up. Thanks for the info Scott."

"No problems Ash. But as Ben said, it's getting late. So I'll guess I'll see you tomorrow when the tournament starts." Scott said, heading off towards the exit. As soon as Ash left the house, Ash left the dinning room, headed up the stairs and went to his room. He then fell on the bed and fell asleep.

The next Day

The sound of a phone ringing woke Ben up first in the household.

"Ugh, who goes and rings someone at 6:30 in the morning? It's way to early for anyone to be up." Sighing, he reached the phone and picked it up. "Hello?"

"Ben! Good to see that you are up this early!" a male voice answered.

"Dad? What would make you think I would be up this early?!"

"Well, when you lived back at home, you always got up at 6:30 on the dot, so I figured that you would be up at this time."

"Well, you guessed wrong." Ben paused for a little bit. "Something tells me you rung me just to test me to see if I was up and awake."
"I've got some good news. Your mother and I are heading over to watch you compete in the tournament. We are also bringing Dragonite over."

"That's great to hear! So when do you think you will get here?"

"We should be there tomorrow by the latest."

"Alright then. See you soon Dad!"

"Bye son!"

Putting the phone down, he nudged Rosa awake.

"Remind me why you get me up this early?" she asked, clearly not the type that gets up in the morning early.

"The phone rang, and I couldn't get back to sleep, so I figured I get you to suffer with me."

She glared at him. "Fine, but get to shower first." And with saying that, she got out of bed, and walked to the shower.

He shook his head. "I will never get woman." After getting out of the bed, he exited the bedroom and entered the kitchen, only to find Ash in there making some breakfast. "Ash? What are you doing up so early?"

"I'm a Aura Guardian, I have to get up early every day." He replied, putting some butter and jam on some bread.

"So I see. So, how do you think you will do in the tournament?"

"I know what my goals are: To win the tournament and defeat Pokemon Master Red. What about yours?"

"As long as I defeat Hilda and Alder, I don't care what happens." He responded, taking some cereal and pouring it in to the bowl. He then joined Ash, who was sitting near the dinning room table. They talked about their tactics and some bits of their life.

10 hours later

At around 17:00, the call came around that people were requested to head to the arena for the starting of the PWT. Goodshow was about to start speaking, but everyone had a little bit of time to talk amongst themselves.

"So Wes, what's Orre like? Nate asked.

"It's very hot, with most of the region being desert. Although there is a forest."

"So basically nothing like the 5 regions? Perfect!"

"Oi, be quiet! Goodshow is about to begin his speech" Eric said to them. They then turned their attention to the stage, where Goodshow was beginning his speech.

"Welcome everyone to the Masters Tournament! The 128 people that stand in front of me are known as some of the best trainers in the world. These trainers will be fighting for $1,000,000 and the chance to fight against Pokemon Master Red. Now, without further ado, let the matches begin!"

*1: Most of the OCs will be using this apartment during the tournament, while others will be camping out.

My. God. I finally got this done. I never though I could do it, but I finally did it. It doesn't help that school is pushing me hard, and I'm very easily dis- Is that a bottle of Nuke-a-cola?

Anyway, like I said, the poll has been restarted, and I've added more choices. If anyone asks why I restarted it, it's because I like to make everything fair. And I don't think I need any more OCs, so thank you for your OCs. If you have submitted one, you're going to PM me with any details (How they meet Ash, where they get up to in the tournament, ect). So until I update again, talk to you soon!
