Episode V | NUUUUUMMMBBBBAAAAAAA FIIIIIIIVE

Yolei stared out the window of her apartment. She thought about going to the game, but it would most likely end with someone "accidentally" tripping and spilling their food and/or drink on her...again. She quit going to the games a few weeks ago. No one ever talked to her, they made fun of her style, knocked her books out off her arms, and most times, spilled their food on her.

The lavender-haired teen made her way towards the window, staring down at the ground in her boredom.

Someone caught her eye.

"Is that TK?" Yolei thought aloud. She unlocked and opened the window allowing the excited screams from the game to enter her room. She was half a mile away, but she could still hear them. That just proves how loud things were near the school. She leaned out the window slightly, trying to get a better look at the blond below…

...And her glasses slid off her face; tumbling down the fire escape.

"Darn it!" She substituted for a curse. Swearing wasn't really her style.

"Ya know." Yolei tried to see who was speaking, but could only see a blond-blue blob below.

"People are going to think you're stalking me."

"I take it, it's safe to assume you're TK?" Yolei half asked, half joked.

"You assume correct," the blob called back to her. Yolei squinted, trying to see what he was doing. He appear to be picking something up. "And I take it, these are your glasses."

"You assume correct," Yolei mocked his tone. She gave a slight questioning look as the blond blob grew closer to her, as if her were climbing the wall or something like that. Then again, she couldn't really see him clearly. She decided on asking him. "What are you doing?"

"Bringing you your glasses," he answered nonchalantly, already most of the way up the fire escape.

"But you don't have to do that, I have spares—" She was cut off by the blond blob as he became more clear. Did he put her glasses on for her? She had hands; it could have been done that herself. She could now visibly see his dorky grin. It was a smile that looked so familiar, yet she couldn't put a finger on it. His wind-blown hair partly covered his brilliant blue eyes and in a way, he looked sort of attractive

No! Miyako Inoue did not think that about the boy she just met earlier that day. Nosirrie! She did not think about her friend that way. It was just wrong. On so many levels.

But his was kind of cute—

No, she didn't think that!

Oh, just forget I said anything. You'll never understand Yolei's mind.

"Uh... can I come in...?"

Yolei continued to stare at the blond, trying to figure out what to say next without making a complete and utter fool of herself. Well, she kind of already did, her face was beet red when realizing the closeness between them. She quickly pulled back—hitting her head on the top if the window seal in the process.

"Whoa, are you okay?" TK threw his leg over the edge of the window, hoisting his body into the lavender-haired girl's room.

"Yeah, I'm fine." Yolei's hand found the back of her head as she put slight pressure on it. "I just stood up a little too fast."

"I can tell," the blue-eyed boy laughed, sitting down on Yolei's bed. He then looked Yolei in the eye and smiled. "While I'm here, what'd you get for number ten?"

Yolei stared back at him, jaw dropping. "You mean you haven't done your math homework yet?"

"It's not that I didn't do it, it's that I can't do it!" TK exclaimed, falling back onto the bed and nearly hitting his head on the wall due to his height.

"Riiiiight." She threw the pillow at him, hitting him square in the face as she sat at the end of her bed. She wasn't exactly sure why, but she was feeling rather relaxed around him. As if she had met him before; he seemed familiar, but she wasn't quite sure how.

And she wasn't quite sure how she ended up on the floor either…

Her coppery eyes found TK's blue orbs shining in amusement, a cheesy grin present on his face. He was sitting up on the bed, leaning forwards slightly with his feet pulled close to him. Yolei smirked, grabbing the edge of her comforter.

"What are you doing—Oof!" TK found himself falling victim to one for gravities many tricks.

Meanwhile, in the livingroom!

A loud 'thud' was heard. A head turned to Yolei's bedroom door, thinking aloud, "Hardcore fangirl." Sigh. "Maybe I should tell her who was at the game."

Back with Miya-chan and Teeks!

The two teenagers sat on the floor in a pile of boy band-themed bedding, laughing at one another.

Until they were rudely interrupted by the door opening to reveal none other than Yolei's older brother, Mantarou Inoue.

"Hey, Yolei! You never guess who was at the game—" The blondish-brown-haired teen cut himself off upon entering the room. He stared at this unknown boy who was randomly alone with Yolei.

When did this strange boy get here?

And why was he in the room alone with his younger sister.

He was alone with her.

HE—was—ALONE—with—HIS—younger—SISTER.

"Who the hell are you?" he demanded, trying not to sound pissed at this unfaithful sight.

Takeru stood, trying to swallow his panic. "I-I'm a friend from school," he stuttered, trying to keep his calm. "I-I'm new, and Yolei was h-helping get caught up in math."

Mantarou's eyes narrowed. "That's not what is looks like to me."

"It was, I swear! She was just helping me with the math homework!" Takeru raised his hands in defense. Pissed older brother equals more scary than fangirls.

Mantarou raised an eyebrow.

"So, who'd you see at the game?" Yolei—in a hurry—changed the subject.

"You'll never guess—!" Yolei breathed a sigh of relief, seeing as she had got her brother off topic. "—It was that Ishida boy and his rock band. Ya know, that band you like."

Yolei's eyes widened. "Really?" Her voice squeaked a bit. "He's in town!"

Takeru groaned; she was a fangirl too. He should have known. "I, uh, gotta go." The blond crawled back through the open window, starting down the fire escape.

"You do know we have a front door, right?"

"Yeah, but if I go that way, it'll be obvious."

Yamato pulled his cell phone (*cough*smart phone*cough*) from his back pocket, looking over his shoulder before he dialed a familiar number. It was just him and Danny. Thank God they managed to escape the fangirls. Fangirls were far more worse than the paparazzi.

"Hello?"

"Hey Ma." Yamato pulled the phone away from his ear as his mother squealed with delight into the phone.

"Yamato, why don't you call me more often? I miss you, honey."

"I miss you, too, Ma." The blond glared as the guitarist snickered. "But I don't have time to talk now. Keru will be here any minute and I wanna surprise him."

"Okay, where are you at?"

"You'll find out later." Yamato had a big grin. It faded as Danny spoke.

"Takeru at twelve o'clock." Danny pointed to the ground before them. He looked over the edge.

Yep, Takeru was approaching the apartment building.

"Hey, where's the spare key?" Yamato asked in a hurry.

"In the plant by the door, why?"

"Okay, thanks!" He reached for the key, jamming it into the keyhole and unlocking the door. He dropped the key back into the potted plant.

"Yamato, why do you need—?"

"Later Ma. Love you." Yamato hung up the phone and opened the door to the small apartment. He quickly ran and literally jumped onto the couch, getting comfortable and making himself at home.

"Don't forget to lock the door," he told himself matter-of-factly, not even bothering to get up and actually lock it.

The room was quiet, too quiet. He could clearly heard something fiddling with the doorknob. The two teens cautiously watched as the door open and the younger blond entered the apartment.

"I coulda sworn I locked the door when I left..." Yamato kept a close eye on the boy as he slid his shoes off, turned on the light, and walked into the kitchen. He came back out with an opened box of girl scout cookies in one hand and a can of soda in the other. Takeru walked through the living/dining room and into his bedroom.

Yamato peered through the opened door, thinking to himself, For TK, that room is waaaaay unorganized…

It wasn't a lie; Takeru usually kept things tidy. He had a habit of keeping things neat and organized. But his bedroom? Boxes were everywhere about in the room, some clothes were scattered on the floor, books were piled up. Surprisingly, the beds were made. Yamato laughed quietly to himself at the bunk beds in the room.

Their mother still hadn't give those up yet.

But everything else in the room was a mess.

Then again, Takeru's only been there for a day, he hadn't had the time to organize.

After a moment in his bedroom, Takeru came back out and sat on the couch. He propped his feet up on the coffee table and opened the can of soda before setting it down. His hand found the remote and he pressed the power button, turning on the television. Yamato continued to stare at him, but Takeru failed to notice as he took a sip of his drink and set the can back down.

Yamato held his breath as he leaned towards Takeru, his mouth next to his brother's ear before saying in a creepy and seductive voice, "You weren't at the game."

"Holy f—[BLEEP]—ing Shhhhh!" Takeru jumped a near mile high before landing on the floor.

His face turned red as the two teens began laughing at him. "Don't sneak up on my like that!"

"I've been here the whole time..."

"What the hell are you doing here?" Takeru glared at Yamato, only causing him to laugh even harder.

Yamato eventually sobered up. "Am I not allowed to see my favorite little brother?"

"I'm your only brother..."

"Whatever," Yamato said. "Anyway, I missed you Teeks."

The younger Ishida took a cookie from the box and ate it.

"I wanna cookie!" Danny spoke up for the first time.

"You can leave now." Yamato pointed to the door. Danny shook his head stubbornly. Takeru joined Yamato. "Leave."

"You guys are so mean." Danny started for the door.

"Complaining isn't attractive, Dan."
