All Right Belong to Rick Riordan

Hard Chats and Harder Liquor

(Harmony)

As I looked across at the two identical figures across the tent, I could not help but notice the usual juxtaposition between them. Percy was the one laughing at the misfortune of Perseus who was being all subservient and demure.

"Did you seriously just call me Ma'am? Do I look like your mother?" I asked in surprise.

"Well, you are more than old enough." A voice chipped in as I turned to look at the other idiot in the room.

"Percy, I know where you sleep." I threatened playfully.

"Last I heard, he wasn't getting much of that." Perseus grumbled under his breath. His face a picture, as what seemed to be genuine jealousy flashed across it briefly. A look that I truthfully took far too much pleasure in seeing. After the crap he had pulled ever since the solstice, any form of discomfort he had to suffer was O so sweet for me to witness.

"I would still rather be the guy drowning than the one dying of thirst in this situation." Percy said laughing towards his counterpart again, who still sitting on the floor folded his arms across his chest and began to sulk looking up at the ceiling.

"Fuck you." The pouting aspect retorted as my golden eye glowed.

"So, what exactly is it that you want then?" I asked him before rising to my feet and walking past the frozen figure of Percy until I was right in front of Perseus. He only seemed to realise what had happened when I was only a few steps away and looming over him.

"Hell, if I know. Today has been rough, the person I thought of as my sister sacrificed her existence for me. My actual sister is apparently sleeping with Atlas and now you are staring down on me. Like I am one stage away from being your prey." He blabbered with frustration.

Putting aside the Kymopoleia and Atlas news for another time. I summoned a stool and sat down and leant back away from him.

"We both know I could violate you in every possible way without you being so much as aware of it apart from the fact that you would be chronologically challenged afterwards. So don't flatter yourself just yet. However, while my instincts just scream at me to ignore you and it would be relatively easy for me to do so. That would not be ideal for either of us. We are both intrinsically linked to that idiot over there and were you two ever to cohabitate the same body even temporarily you would know exactly what we have got up to for the last month or so... Some of which would be really, inconvenient for me if it ever got out." I told him honestly with a small chuckle. Not so much to me now, but if I ever changed back then I was losing a lot of leverage over some people. Some such as my father I could still deal with as Percy would always be on my side, however that didn't work with the person in front of me as he finally started to get to his feet.

"So what? You just don't want me to not blab your embarrassing secrets, is that it?" He scoffed whilst walking over to the table I had sat on earlier as I turned my head to follow him.

"No, I want you to answer a simple question."

"Well get on with it then."

"Do you love me?" I asked simply causing him to flinch and sit there with his mouth open for a short while.

"Err. It's complicated." He said nervously scratching the side of his head.

Believe it or not, that answer was better for me to hear than a flat-out admission of one way or the other. A straight yes would have been insincere because of our history. Meanwhile, the existence of Lilith and her very appearance emulating my own was obvious proof that he was at least physically attracted to me.

At least I knew from eavesdropping Percy just now that the two thankfully hadn't slept together, which meant that he was still...

"Are you listening?" He said bluntly snapping me out of daydream of possibilities.

"Huh?"

"You are as bad as him. Or worse yet he has infected you with his dumbass-ery." He decried with a sigh.

"I didn't see it in the small print either, I was hoping to get Nemea out of this relationship not that!" I joked as a glass of wine appeared in my hand, causing Perseus to raise an eyebrow.

"AS I WAS SAYING. Like anyone with functional vision I am attracted to you, you are the most beautiful woman in the world by a country mile. However, to be honest I preferred you as you were, you are too perfect now that it almost seems unnatural. You were always the prettiest to me whether you were Diana or Artemis that no one else could ever have led me astray regardless of how much you pushed me away. Regardless of our words and actions I was, am and likely always will be attracted to only you." He explained honestly as I silently listened to him praising me regardless of the fact it was technically meant as a form of derision.

Leaving him in silence I drank the entire glass of wine in one go before placing it down beside me and rising to my feet and beginning to walk towards him.

"That is all very interesting but I think you are forgetting one thing..." I told him stopping in front of him as he gulped looking up at me.

"I am still a goddess you idiot." I told him rolling my eyes before my body glowed briefly.

(Perseus)

'I am a massive idiot.' Was the only functional coherent thought running through my head as I stared at the goddess in front of me.

She was still the same height but gone was the floor length hair, her curves were no longer as prominent and she no longer seemed like the only thing in ultra-high definition in the room. Were it not for the presence of a single golden eye, I would have thought I was staring at the Roman Goddess of the Hunt. But even if my brain was functioning correctly, I was sure I could overlook that minor 'imperfection'.

My subconscious brain downstairs certainly was.

"If you want, I can put my hair up-" She suggested grasping the auburn strands and pulling them back to imitate a ponytail.

"NO!" I interrupted abruptly rising to my feet and we were suddenly almost face to face.

'Gods damn it, she is beautiful.' I thought to myself as she released her hair and let it fall back down around her shoulders. As I was saying Harmony was almost by definition 'better looking' but I just preferred the natural beauty of the Olympian goddesses over that of the Primordial.

"So then, now that I have your undivided attention. Are you willing to play ball?" She asked coyly still only a few inches away from me. The temptation to close that distance further was rapidly growing the more I stared at her face.

"Even if you say that, what about him?" I asked averting my head to look at my still frozen counterpart.

"What? You think he would be jealous of you?" She asked holding back a laugh as she backed up a few feet.

"Well... you know... it's cheating." I mumbled as Harmony rolled her eyes.

"You're the same person you idiot. Besides should the pair of you ever share a body again you will gain full knowledge of EVERYTHING we have done. At the moment you don't even know a fraction of the shit we have done over the last month. Take it from someone who was in that situation a short while ago, jealousy ends up converting into lust really quickly when given an outlet." She explained as yet another glass appeared in her hand, and she took a sip from it.

"So, about that threesome." I remarked smiling as she almost spat the wine out having to cover her mouth with her hand before swallowing the liquid down.

"I think you should focus on trying to get out of the starting blocks before you start trying to get adventurous." The red-faced goddess told me with narrowed eyes.

"Not us three! You three, I presume that had something to do with you being the way you are now?"

"Potentially." The blush on her face truly was cute.

"So does that mean you like girls or just yourself?" I asked playfully.

"You're an asshole." She told me bluntly while glaring.

"That's better. This was getting far too friendly too quickly for my liking." I told her before cheekily relieving her of the wine glass and taking a swig of the fluid. For a few seconds Harmony remained there staring at her now empty hand before shooting me a scathing look.

"You have until the count of three before I erase you and the rest of this gods damned island of the face of the planet." She threatened and suddenly I sensed real conviction from her.

She meant some of that and I was hoping that it was not the bit about me.

Hurriedly moving back towards her, I placed the goblet back into her hand as she looked back from it to me and her expression finally softened again as she took a sip.

"So, what was that about destroying this island?" I asked nervously as she took a deep breath and her golden eye ceased glowing.

"I really should have got used to that by now..." Percy said immediately before looking about and spotting the unmistakeable figure of the Roman goddess.

"Don't act too surprised it is still me. I needed to get this idiots attention." Harmony told him looking from me back to him.

"Well, it definitely works at getting my attention. Wait... Could you always do this?" Percy asked as if discovering some great revelation.

"Urghhhh. I am surrounded by idiots. Yes Moron. You have seen me turn into a giant silver panther and yet you are somehow surprised that I can change my appearance back to my own previous look?" She said bitterly as Percy merely chuckled at her exasperation.

"Hold up, let's get back to what we talking about and you blowing up this place?" I asked getting us back on track. I was guessing that was why she released her control over him. Almost immediately it prompted the goddess to start chugging whatever was left of the wine.

"Harmony, why is it things have a habit of exploding when you start drinking heavily." Percy questioned pinching his nose. I was certainly no connoisseur of wine, but from my sip earlier I now certainly knew I preferred it to scotch.

"That is exactly why I am drinking." She retorted slamming the vessel down on the table beside her.

"I left you for a few minutes how did you manage to go from a conversation with Delia to blowing up Delos?" Percy asked.

"By dropping the formalities and just taking a leaf out of Gaia's book and ripping the problem out at its roots. Hera's curse destroyed this island; sure, she may have lifted it a long time ago. But the remnants of it still permeate everything about this place. Otherwise, Delia could quite happily be left to her devices here and things would start to regrow around her. But instead, it still dies as soon as she moves away. That is the start of what is making her miserable." She explained as if this idea was not totally insane in any way, shape or form.

"And how exactly does that lead into destroying it all. Because I am seeing a massive number of problems with this plan." I replied rationally.

"By ripping out and destroying every last trace of the curse at the same time."

"Yeah I got that bit, but even ignoring the fact that you would need to release enough energy that would make every nuclear weapon look like a fire cracker in the middle of a sea that is heavily populated. You are also forgetting that if you destroy Delos, you would be destroying Delia's source and would kill her that way instead."

"Not quite true, if she was temporarily disconnected from it at the time then she would survive." Percy responded his face frowning as he pondered this insane situation.

"That's why you are being so nice, you need me!"

"Of course I need you for this! Or you could see this as an opportunity to not be a selfish ass and actually earn some good graces to make up for all this times you have acted like a fucking idiot." The goddess shot back hands-on hips and I couldn't help but notice that though she may have still worn the face of Diana her body language was most certainly that of Arty.

"Both of you play nice or this is never going to work." Percy said stepping between the two of us.

"Which bit, the relationship or this batshit crazy plan!" I said angrily.

"Unlike her I cannot threaten your very existence, but I will fucking punch you and take great pleasure in doing it." Sure, enough Percy's threat was minimal in comparison to whatever the goddess would do. But that he would do anything meant that the normally chill Percy was growing frustrated.

"Fine but if we are going to plot this out, can we do it somewhere a bit better than the mess tent? This place is tiny and hardly appropriate, if we are going ahead with this insanity, we are going to need some room to plot this out properly." I complained waving around the small temporary structure.

"He has got a point Harmony, and we are going to need to plan this properly if we want to do it right. If we mess up a little Delia could die, if we mess up a lot, we stand a good chance of destroying a large chunk of Greece, Crete, Rhodes and probably Turkey. I cannot weigh the cost of that many people against a single person no matter who they are."

"Fine." The uber powerful goddess conceded whilst rolling her eyes, convincing me that if it was left up to her. She would have just blown the island up and screw everyone else affected by her reckless actions.

Come to think of it, when did I become the voice of reason and common sense around here?

"Has anyone ever told you that you are really distracting?" I told the goddess wearily. Apart from the odd comment here or there, she was far less involved in the planning of this misadventure than the two of us.

"Often, but it is pointless and frankly I am not against where it normally leads." My counterpart responded as we both sat side by side looking at a Google Earth map of the island of Delos. The fact we were having to use our Xbox for this highly sophisticated plan was not lost on me.

Nor was the presence of the goddess off to our side lounging on a bear skin rug wearing nothing but vaguely translucent silver underwear and a negligee.

"You know I have been meaning to say for a while, but for a until recently virgin childlike goddess. You seem have an outstanding collection of fancy and erotic underwear in adult sizes." I said turning to my right at the goddess who was laying on her stomach kicking her feet back and forth.

"If you don't like them, I can always take them off." Harmony suggested as she stretched her left leg back to an almost impossible degree of flexibility. Her actions distracting from the fact that she was completely ignoring my point as usual.

"Can you change your body back first?" I queried optimistically as Percy began to glare at me.

"What? Are you going to deny that her hair covering half of her body is not ruining the show that she is clearly more interested in putting on." I told him pointing my finger at the goddess who sure enough took a short moment from contorting herself into a divine pretzel to brush her hair to the opposite side out of the way.

"Focus dumbass, you are giving her exactly what she wants... attention." Percy told me in exasperation as I found his hand around the back of my head and physically turning me away from the goddess.

"What I want is..."

"It has been only three hours, stop being horny or I will say the B-word again." Percy told her as she suddenly sat upright and folded her arms in silent protestation.

"What bondage?" I asked having no idea what he was referring to.

"Don't give her ideas, I am not a fan of that one. No, she knows what one I am talking about." He said glaring at her leaving me somewhat curious about said word.

"We could always see if Hephaestus could fix up Enkidu and then try it the other way around." She suggested optimistically as I noticed her rolling onto her side and propping her head up on one arm in my peripheral vision.

"Sure, I will deal with that divine object just as quickly as I bother to get own my shield fixed." He remarked sarcastically, sure enough it had been over a month now and we still hadn't dealt with that.

"Anyway... So, everything within this area of the continental shelf has got to go. That about four square miles of area and about eight-hundred feet in depth to get rid of. All without destroying neighbouring Rinia or Mykonos at the same time." I pointed out on the map on the tv screen.

"What about Megalos and Mikros they are awfully close?" Percy asked looking at the two small islands to the east of Delos.

"Are either of you volunteering to try and protect a pair of barren rocks? I think they might have a few goats." Harmony asked as we both looked from her to the map, and both collectively decided that the fates could decide on what happened with those two. We could always put them back in place afterwards without two much trouble. To be fair the larger Rinia was almost as barren its western neighbour but there was a low chance there could be people on it.

"So even if one of us is on Rinia and the other Mykonos, we can only stop so much. We cannot deal with the shockwave and the tsunami that is going to be produced at the same time. Not unless you think you can do it from orbit?" I asked turning towards the goddess who shook her head.

"Too risky, besides I must make sure all vestiges of Delos are gone first and then I have got to restore it. I would rather not waste my energy on that. Besides, what is the point of having family if you cannot ask for favours?"

"I would say that sounds more like asking my family in particular but well..." Percy commented.

"Yay for divine incest." I interrupted earning a look from the pair of them.

"What? It's true and besides let's be honest. Anyone who passes on that ass, better have a more valid excuse than were related." I said pointing to said barely covered posterior.

"That was quite literally you and like yesterday, you idiot." Percy said rolling his eyes as he pointed out my hypocrisy.

"Ok fair point but I mean come on, you said that she couldn't even keep her hands off herself."

"The next one who brings that up will no longer have hands." Came the cold retort from across the room as her eyes narrowed into slits.

"So, who are we recruiting for this, obviously Dad, Triton..."

"Leave Kymopoleia to me." Harmony pre-emptively interrupted.

"Dad won't like that if she is there." Percy argued.

"Poseidon can get with the program just like his brother will have to." Harmony responded coldly.

Considering what we were planning on doing, there was no way not to involve Zeus in the proceedings. There was no way to completely vaporise an island of that size without creating a shockwave both above and below the ocean that would be greatly dangerous to everything within tens of miles.

"You know you never said how exactly you were going to ask for his help?" Percy asked. She had off-handedly mentioned we would need him at the beginning but never elaborated further.

"Who said anything about asking my father, his choices are to help us with this, or he can sit with front row seats on the damned island. If he had been a responsible person back then and stood up for the lover that he impregnated against his damned sister-wife this could have all been averted. Hera is lucky that I have no damned use for her, or she would be conscripted as well."

"It is annoying that of all the gods we know, no one can fix Delos properly without doing what we are doing." Percy said with a groan.

"Yeah well, unfortunately Pan had to go be selfish and die. I think you stood there and watched didn't you. Otherwise, our great-grandmother..." Harmony ridiculed sarcastically as the two of us rolled our eyes and another glass of wine appeared in front of her, and she stared at its contents.

"Why is it the only useful Olympians are the ones who are never there? It is like there is a direct correlation between most time spend on the mountain and being utterly useless." I complained as even Percy seemed to nod in agreement.

"Doesn't that mean you are calling me the most useful goddess then?" Harmony asked almost hungrily as she sat up straight.

'I don't want to stroke her ego unnecessarily, but I cannot think of anyone else. Any suggestions?' I quickly asked Percy.

'Bro, just stroke the ego. I have no skin in this game because no matter what I am getting laid. However, this shitshow is your opportunity to finally get in her good books.' He told me and I had to admit I needed to take every chance I was given to try and somewhat fix my relationship with her. Even if it did ruffle me a little that he was so open with the fact he was so often sleeping with the perpetually horny goddess.

"Ok I have to admit, you are better than all the others. Even if you are a man-hating queen of the girl scouts."

"Between the pair of you and that was the best you could come up with, I am disappointed."

"I told him just to say yes, he wanted to try being witty."

"You sellout fuck!" I hissed angrily turning on my counterpart.

"No, I am just not an idiot for no good reason. As I said to you, I know where my bread is buttered, and nothing is going to change that."

"You seem awfully sure of that fact." Harmony interrupted.

"Are you perhaps going back to celibacy then?" Percy questioned with a smirk causing the goddess to freeze in her tracks as her eyes narrowed.

"Dear gods, you two really are awful to be around. I can see why the Hunters would be uncomfortable. Can you both either disappear into the bedroom and get it out of your systems or focus on this. Pick one." I told them both in frustration finally having enough of this sexual tension between the two.

After a few seconds of the pair of them looking at me, they silently looked at each other before unbelievably Harmony put her normal clothes back on.

"I wasn't against you looking like that." I complained at least half-jokingly as the goddess simply glared.

"So anyway, we obviously need to speak to people and find out when we can do this..." Percy began as we resumed our 'meeting'.

(Thalia)

"What is the point of being her Lieutenant and doing her bidding when she is never here and never tells us anything!" I vented in frustration as I paced back and forth inside Harmony's tent. Percy or perhaps even Perseus at least had been seen from a distance at least once a day. Even then he didn't seem to say anything, he just came back provided Nemea with food and then disappeared again. Which was good because the golden feline could not exactly find her own food around here.

"You need to stop exaggerating she has only been gone for a few days." My demi-Titan counterpart said from across the room.

"Last time she disappeared for ten days and became a different species entirely. Besides I distinctly remember you going nuts back at camp when she went missing a few years ago."

"That was because I had a vision about it, which as it turned out was correct. Are you making a point or just rambling to vent your frustrations." Zoe asked bluntly.

'No, if I wanted to vent, I would be with Reyna.' I thought to myself. Unfortunately, my girlfriend was carrying out some long overdue tidying of our tent because frankly, it was getting pretty grim in there. That and the Lamia Aika had made several comments that the two of us a) smelled weird and b) the same. Had prompted a sudden need to clean everything before someone else started to put information together

"I have known milady for two and a half thousand years and have even known her to disappear for an entire year on occasion, so you need to stop taking her every absence so personally. Just do what you can to keep everything running smoothly while she is gone. She doesn't ask for anything else." Zoe told me trying to be reassuring despite the fact she was openly admitted the goddess was just as neglectful back then.

"Speaking of which, how exactly did girls ever get an opportunity to go astray and break their oaths? Considering she apparently knows if anything ever happens to us." I asked with ironic curiosity.

"Sometimes it seemed like it was a sudden spur of the moment thing that happened. Sometimes it was a new hunter who had a sudden change of heart and would run away to someone they knew. Other times it was a lot more malicious; those normally involved your father to be honest. He would order Artemis away to do something before striking in her absence." She said glancing at me with slightly narrowed eyes.

"Yay thanks for reminding me that dad is basically the world's number one rapist."

"Not to defend him but Lord Zeus can be incredibly charismatic and makes some big very promises to get what he wants. Unfortunately, girls seem to forget in the moment that consequences are a thing and Artemis and Hera are both incredibly spiteful when they find out."

"You know you sound very familiar with his modus operandi." I asked curiously.

"Of course, he tried to do so with me... twice." Zoe conceded as I let out a sigh and rolled my eyes.

"He really is the worst." I exclaimed as my already low opinion of my father fell even further.

"Remember for the longest time, a girl's maidenhood was seen as her most valuable asset and all hunters by nature are virgins. I think the worst time was when Apollo tried to seduce Atalanta and she is his own daughter, because he honestly forgot after a thousand years that she was one of his." She told me as I shook my head at how true that was.

"Is it bad that it seems like the only truly decent male divine, is actually the one in danger of getting corrupted by Harmony?"

'I hope you are not referring to Perseus, because I haven't done anything to him... yet' Harmony's voice said in my head scaring the shit out of me.

"Milady?" I stuttered out in outright panic causing Zoe to also look around.

'Carry on having your little chat, it is nice to see you two are getting along. Though I would suggest starting to pack the camp up tomorrow morning. See you then.' She told me sounding strangely upbeat.

"Great... As it turns out Harmony can spy on me." I told Zoe with trepidation.

It was already bad enough that I knew that she knew whenever Reyna and I got physical but apparently it was a lot worse than that now.

"Well, you did try and be clever and decide to be 'her' Lieutenant which may have something to do with it."

"I have truly made a terrible mistake."

'No take backs.' Said the clearly amused voice in my head.

'Gods dammit."

"It isn't that bad; it is not like there is any possible sordid reason why it could be a major problem. Bright side is that she would know immediately if you were ever in trouble as well."

"Hehe yeah I guess that is true." I said trying to laugh off the hidden reality.

"So, what did she say then?" Zoe asked as I realised that sure enough the Demi-Titan was naturally going to be curious about what the goddess said and not my secret relationship.

"By the sound of it we may be leaving here tomorrow it seems. She said to start packing up camp in the morning."

"I may no longer be a Hesperide, but I would be lying if I said I would not be happy to get off this barren island and back to somewhere with actual life on it. But what are going to do about Delia? We cannot take her back to America."

"I don't know." I told her honestly before sitting on a stool in the corner of the tent, as no further information seemed forthcoming from the secretive goddess.

"You needn't hang around here all day, by the sound of it Harmony doesn't plan on returning today. So, you may as well return to Reyna while we have some free time, things may be busy for the next few." Zoe said catching me completely off guard as she gave me a knowing look.

"Who- Who told you?" I stammered out.

"You just did; I have just had my suspicions for a while since you suddenly changed your body. You were clearly trying to appeal to someone. Now the only male candidate, you stand little to no chance attracting for obvious reasons. So it must have been another Hunter or rather a Huntress." The other Lieutenant said deducing calmly.

'Fuck!'

"Liste-" I began before she held up her hand and cut me off.

"The Hunt has changed just as much as the goddess and if I know about it, then she most certainly does. If it does not interfere with your responsibilities, then I will not care anymore than Harmony obviously doesn't. Besides Reyna herself as a Hunter falls under my remit, so there will not be any special treatment." She told me firmly albeit there were traces of a smile on her face.

"I would never dream of it. Are you going to tell the others?" I questioned.

"Just like when I found out about Milady and Percy. That is your secret to share not mine. So, I would suggest either doing a better job of hiding it or just be honest with the others. Either way you cannot possibly be worse than having to deal with than Lady Harmony and Percy getting handsy in public." Zoe said with a sigh before leaving the tent.

So, for a few more minutes I sat there and pondered what I should do before my attention idly drifted across the tent to the fur laden bed in the middle of it.

The layout hadn't changed in here ever since I became a hunter. But thinking of Harmony's words I couldn't help but think that this one isolated stool in the corner was almost a punishment position for a certain Titan aspect to be made to watch.

(Perseus)

"This place hasn't changed much in the last nineteen years." My father said sitting down on the spare plastic chair beside me as we both sat on the deck overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. Quite surprisingly it had been rather easy to get him out here. One short Iris message and he was here within fifteen minutes.

He was not even concerned that it was me and not my counterpart that wanted to speak with him. As far as he was concerned, I was still his son. Besides technically speaking I actually was HIS son, as Percy was technically the Roman one of the two of us having been adopted by Neptune.

Life is complicated, immortal life can be a headfuck... sometimes literally.

"Well, the bed sheets have definitely been changed a few times since back then. Jokes aside though there is one major thing that has changed... its owner." I told him as I handed over the freshly printed and signed paperwork I held rolled up in my hand.

As it turned out, buying a somewhat derelict beach hut on an isolated beach was not as hard or as expensive as I thought it would be. As it turns out, the seventy-eight-year-old retired owner was almost desperate to get rid of it after almost no bookings for the last two years and his worsening health preventing him from easily maintaining it after each stay. After I had explained why I wanted to buy it, he had broken into a big toothy grin and gripped my hand. Barely two days later everything was dealt with.

So just like that as soon as Athena gave me my advance on the book, I had spent it with no regrets. Handing the old guy a small wad of cash. Compared to what I had in Vegas it seemed almost disappointingly small but to him it seemed like it was one final opportunity to do things he had never had the chance to.

"How did you ever end up here? You could have visited any beach in the world, but you ended up here." I asked curiously as my father finished reading the property deed in my name. (Funnily enough even if it was Percy's idea or not. It was actually in 'my' name, Perseus Jackson is still my legal mortal name regardless of aspect.)

"As I am sure you understand now, a god's life is not a stress-free time. Ruling the oceans may give me great power but it also gives me an even bigger headache. There are trillions of denizens under the water, and I am ultimately responsible for all of them. One of them also includes your stepmother." He said bluntly trying to hold a straight face.

"So, what you came here for a booty call because you weren't getting any at home."

"Perseus!"

"Are you saying It isn't what it sounds like?"

"I was still held under that stupid prophecy back then, so no I was not planning on doing anything. I just decided to do some fishing in the town for a few days while Amphitrite calmed down." He explained as I glared at him questioningly as to why his wife would possibly be upset.

"I slept with a Nereid, and she found out about it. Which for the record was not against the rules. So, fishing as always was my way of avoiding the repercussions of my actions." He conceded after almost a minute of me staring at him.

"It is good to know that I will always be a better husband than basically every god I know. Besides I am more than aware of you sleeping around even after I came along, Tyson is proof of that." I told him as he looked ready to complain before seemingly thinking better of it.

"When you are in a relationship with someone as beautiful as Artemis, temptation would become less of a factor."

"Diana is better besides if you want stunningly beautiful you should see Harmony."

"Adult Artemis is identical to Diana except one lets her hair down. Sure, she rarely ever used to use that form but for the century or so that Zeus made her do so to council meetings, but I am certain of that fact."

"I could tell you some other differences, but I don't want to die."

"And to think people thought my son was a lucky fool. You can show some intelligence."

"Well half of that description is fair." Which half depended on the day in question.

"You mentioned Harmony, your uncle did too rather cryptically a few days ago. He asked if I knew the name but would not give any details when I denied it. Judging by the fact that you have not been attacked by an angry goddess for calling her more beautiful than Artemis, I take it the two are related in some way."

"One and the same as far as you can say one cannot exist while the other does. Take everything the goddess of the hunt is known for, add basically all my powers, sprinkle in some hormonal and a lot of mental issues, mix that all together and then turn the oven up to eleven. That is Harmony in a nutshell. Zeus is rightfully terrified of her by all accounts. Though it is good that she doesn't knock people out by just being near them though now. Oh, right I forgot to mention she is also a Primordial it seems."

"Oh." My father said simply seeming to comprehend the scale of the abomination that was his niece.

"Yeah, it really is kind of like that."

"So where do you stand in this relationship then? From what I have heard you and Artemis don't get along to well." He told me and I realised that I had another brother that I needed to tell not to blab all my secrets. Otherwise, I would drag out getting him his boat forever.

"If you are asking if I am sleeping with her, the answer is no. I am currently in the playing nice and working off some of the animosity created by my actions. Which is why I am here and not the remora that is Percy currently. Though I suppose they hang off and he technically hangs out of..." I reconsidered trailing off.

"So her vows..."

"Those are long gone, metaphorically blown apart almost. As it turns out her and her old man are not so different." I interrupted.

"O to be young again." He said wistfully looking out over the ocean.

"Anyway, we got off tangent, how did you going fishing end up in my conception against the rules!"

"A cute young girl caught my attention."

"Holy fucking shit, you sound like a sexual predator. I don't know why I expected anything different? Considering this family at large seems to operate from the same playbook." I complained holding my hands over my face in exasperation.

"At least I married outside my immediate family unlike my brothers. I spent enough time with Hera and Demeter inside your grandfather's stomach to know that I wanted nothing to do with either of them or their progeny." Poseidon complained almost childishly which I found almost hilarious considering his usual regal aura.

"First of all, Arion exists proving that like your younger sibling ANY hole is a goal but instead you married the physical incarnation of the arctic ocean."

"What do you mean, Amphitrite is..."

"Frigid as fuck. More than three thousand years and you had only three kids together in all that time. To boot they were all born right at the beginning of that time. Now I know for obvious reasons that you were not the problem, so that only leaves one possible candidate." I said bluntly as a clearly amused Lord of the Sea took great interest in the wooden decking.

"Be that as it may, she is a good Queen of the Sea if nothing else. Besides Sally was different than my usual trysts with mortals, I enjoyed her company else I would not have stayed here for weeks with her. For a young woman, she had already endured so much, yet still she had such strength of character as to keep looking forward with optimism. It was almost refreshing to be honest." My father defended.

"So, it was not because you were not in the middle of a fifty-year dry spell with mortal women?" I asked sarcastically.

"You know if I was an idiot I would blame your mother for your attitude." He said with a tone of amusement, clearly knowing that of my parents I had a clear favourite. I would happily disrespect my dad, but if mom asked me to come back this minute and do the dishes. I would be there in a literal flash.

"And after I punched you in the teeth, I would point out the lack of a responsible father figure in my childhood would probably be to blame. But hey you voted to not have me killed unlike me soon to be father-in-law, so that counts for something. You will never win this argument and that is why I will be a better parent than you."

"Perseus I am sorry for everything, but my hands were tied by the Ancient Laws." He whispered mournfully

"Yeah well, they are not stopping you from being a grandfather or do you really want the other guy to be cooler one they have?" I told him as that seemed to fill him with determination.

"As if I could possibly lose to the other guy." He said puffing himself up and smiling.

"Has there ever actually been a shared legacy of the two of you?" I asked curiously, which considering the number of demigods the two had sired over the years was not an impossibility.

"Not that I can recall, a few a generation removed on my side normally with one of Athena's or Ares's children. Which probably accounted for half the British admiralty over the years, but your direct cousins were generally quite content to spend their time on land trying to rule the masses."

"So why did Athena have a bee in her bonnet about me and Annabeth if this was not the first time!"

"Because sailors do not generally make good husbands, they tend to disappear off for months or even years at a time to distant lands. Visiting ports that inspired a certain saying about Vegas. That is if they even come back at all. She was simply recognising a pattern and looking out for her daughter's long-term interests likely."

"I have never shown any interest in spending time at sea let alone the navy. The only quest I did at Sea was a pain in the ass and that was only a week. Not to mention I got turned into a gods damned guinea pig." I told him indignantly.

"That may be, but how many times did you go missing on quests and were presumed dead?" Poseidon responded bluntly.

"Ok that's fair." I conceded after a moment of consideration.

"So, what did you call me out here for anyway, as showing me your new beach house I doubt is the sole reason." He asked curiously getting to the meat and potatoes of his visit here.

"Because my soon to be wife is planning on doing something insane and needs help. I got the task of asking you to chip in for about thirty minutes work or so tomorrow."

"If Harmony is as powerful as you said, what could she require my help with?"

"For starters, not flooding half the Mediterranean coastline. Besides it is not just you but also Triton and Kymopoleia and even Zeus himself." I told him simply causing him to narrow his eyes at his daughter's name.

"I should have realised it was not going to be simple with you; I have so many questions." He said pinching his nose.

"She is planning to blow up Delos, erasing it off the map in its entirety. As you can imagine that will create one hell of a tidal wave.

"That didn't help at all that just makes me want to ask other questions Perseus. First things first though, Is there any alcohol here?" My dejected father asked with a sigh.

"You know I am not old enough to buy it in the country."

"Oh right, I forgot this countries hypocrisy, you can be old enough to own property or go to war, but a choice of beverage is a step too far. You know considering your affinity for destroying things, you would have been a better fit for the Marines rather than the Navy."

"The blue crayons are my favourite. Besides I easily could still enlist. I think they even have a saying about anything left with one will end up dead, broken or pregnant." I joked playfully.

"With you that is strangely appropriate, besides I highly doubt it, I have seen how you play with authority figures. You tend to act like that lioness of yours with her food." He remarked smirking as I simply looked out to sea and grinned.

"Have you spoken to Triton yet?" He asked curiously.

"No, he was my next stop."

"Good because in that case he can fetch the drinks then." He laughed as a sheet of moisture appeared in the air and began to form an image.

(Percy)

'How exactly did it come to this?' I thought to myself as I found my face pinned to the grassy floor.

"I expected better from you. You have gotten lazy and complacent." The solid lump of muscle kneeling on my back berated gruffly.

"Oh sure, I can't use my powers but the guy who is defined by strength still can. That is fair." I complained struggling to free myself from Atlas's grip albeit to no current avail. The fact that the guy was a foot taller than me and a hundred pounds heavier even in his 'mortal' form was also massively in his favour. When we used to battle each other a year ago, we were at least the same height at the time. Ironically, I was significantly heavier back then because my wings were a permanent feature.

"Personally, I think it is just because he likes being on the bottom with someone on top of him." An amused voice chimed in.

"Harmony you are not helping!" I shouted turning my head to look at the two goddess's laying on deck chairs watching the show over drinks.

"I don't know, she is sure as hell motivating me to kick your ass." Atlas whispered.

"You have got nowhere near enough endurance for that one, that I can promise you." I laughed through gritted teeth as I finally managed to leverage my arm underneath me and push the two of us of the garden floor.

"Atlas, kindly pick your next words wisely." Kymopoleia threatened between sips of her cocktail.

"What do you see in him anyway?" Harmony asked my sister.

"Well, it upsets father so that was a good enough reason to start. But as it turns out the sex is alright." Kym conceded.

"Alright?" Atlas said indignantly giving me an opportunity to finally throw the lump off while he was distracted. Locking the inside of my left knee around his throat I attempted to pin him, only for Atlas to still manage to stand up with minimal difficulty. Despite the fact I was wrapped around him now holding on to his forehead for dear life.

"Percy, kindly get off him before you embarrass yourself." Harmony told me, as I dropped seven feet back to the ground as Atlas stomped over to his current lover.

"What do you mean alright? You've never had anyone else to compare me to!"

"You need to hype yourself up mid-session and your pillow talk is all grunts. It is supposed to be lovemaking not a sports game." The goddess of storms told him before putting the straw back to her lips and looking at the Titan who was stuck there open-mouthed staring back at her.

Harmony for her part seemed to be relishing the opportunity to watch her former captor suffer as she looked repeatedly from one to the other with mischief in her eyes.

"Lovemaking? Who said anything about love?" Atlas finally spoke as the air turned still.

"Did you think to ask your daughters permission before you started digging that hole in their garden." Harmony joked as I slowly watched Kym's hair change from black back to jellyfish tentacles and her sea-green eyes narrowed.

"I didn't mean it like that!" The Titan defended stepping backwards as the goddess rose to her feet and grew to her divine height of about ten feet and the margherita was replaced with a flamberge.

"So, what did you mean it is as then? You think you can just pump a baby into me and that is that?" Kymopoleia revealed catching seemingly both of us males by surprise while Harmony just sat there drinking her wine and treating this like a soap opera.

"Baby? You're pregnant?" The stupefied Titan questioned looking up at the armed goddess who towered over him.

"Is it that surprising 'General' considering how many of your soldiers you have given their marching orders." She commented humorously losing some her aura as Atlas seemed genuinely surprised by the revelation.

"When did you find out?" He asked.

"While Apollo was stitching you up the other day, he touched me and realised the truth."

"Yeah, he keeps doing that recently. Boy or a girl?" Harmony asked reflecting on her own revelation of her double pregnancy.

"Girl, it is always girls..." Atlas grunted which in consideration for his previous luck was not unwarranted.

"Do you hear that, he does not think you could possibly be one of his. Arghh!" Kym said looking down and rubbing her stomach before much to her surprise she found herself being lifted off the floor by the currently considerably smaller figure.

"Put me down you oaf!" She complained as Atlas swung her around in circles. Thankfully, she quickly dropped the sword after the first rotation.

I wasn't sure what was funnier in the scene, her discomfort at the sudden centrifuge she found herself in. Or the fact that with their current height differences, his currently shaved head was perfectly located between her boobs that were just as big as it.

"Yeah, I don't think he is listening." I told my sister as the other Titan was on cloud nine and just swinging her around repeatedly muttering gibberish into her bosom.

"I don't remember us being this bad, were we?" I said turning to Harmony.

"We were both in shock at the time, besides we were worried what others would think. Does either of them act or look like they give a shit about others' perceptions?" Harmony pointed out and after a moments consideration I realised she was indeed correct. The only person Atlas even pretended to listen to was his father, Iapetus and Kym had basically burned all her bridges back home.

"No but she is starting to look like she will throw up." I responded before suddenly freezing the Titan in place before a churned-up cocktail got launched everywhere by the pregnant goddess. She was still trapped in his embrace but at least the constant motion was stopped.

"Atlas you idiot calm down for two seconds!" Harmony belittled finally choosing to sit up on her deck chair.

"You didn't have to wait seven thousand years for a son." The Titan complained and after thirty seconds I let him move again.

"Was it even seven days for us two?" I asked Harmony who narrowed her eyes.

"We were not supposed to be trying at the time." She reminded bluntly.

"You still have to wait another nine months you bloody fool." Kymopoleia told him as she was finally put back on the floor. Once that was done, she reverted to her own normal height and sudden the height dynamic was reversed as she was now the one who was towered over by more than a foot.

Which mattered little when she grabbed him by the collar and dragged his head down and begin to make out with him.

"To answer your question from earlier, we are just as bad." Harmony conceded as I stepped around those two and made my way over to her. It was difficult not to notice that Atlas's massive hand was starting to roam freely over my sister's backside.

"Father! Is this really the time and place?" Calypso complained and I turned to look at the girl who was accompanied by the Hesperides Arethusa and Aegle. Don't get me wrong, the girl was beautiful in her own right and both nymphs were also cute but compared to the woman sitting next to me. That choice was no longer hard to make.

"Girls you are going to have a little brother at last." The Titan proudly declared catching all three of his daughters off guard as they all looked from him to the goddess of storms and back.

"In that case I win the bet." The generally reserved Aegle declared randomly causing both of her present sisters to flinch as they turned towards her.

"What do you mean my daughter?" Atlas asked as even he was suddenly perplexed by her declaration.

"We each made bets about us ever having a brother, I said it would be with a goddess." She explained.

"You also said it would likely be Artemis, because father kept staring longingly at the moon while he was trapped." Arethusa countered seemingly forgetting who was sitting nearby.

"Shut up!" Atlas snapped as his terrified eyes suddenly turned towards the silver goddess.

"I suppose I should be flattered. Is that why you went out of your way to capture me?" She asked sweetly as he gulped.

"That was completely unrelated to my interests." He defended badly.

"Your interests?" Harmony said putting her glass down.

"Father now would be a good time to shut up." Calypso warned as Harmony rose to her feet.

The funny thing was, we hadn't explained to anyone on Orthrys the truth about Harmony. Yet everyone we had met over the last few days of her being around the palace, had all seemed to realise that she was not to be trifled with.

Fortunately for the Titan, I suddenly found my view full of the goddess's face as her left hand wrapped around the back of my head. With my attention now solely focused on the task at hand, I could not see the goddess's free hand holding a single finger up pointed towards the Titan.

'We have an audience.' I told her conscientious of the onlooking group.

'Since when has that ever bothered me?' Came the amused response as suddenly I felt myself supporting her entire weight as her legs wrapped around my waist.

"Oh, to be young again. Your grandfather and I..." Rhea said and suddenly Harmony leapt off me.

"Please don't ever tell me stories about you and Kronos doing the deed." Harmony face flushed said turning towards our shared grandmother who was looking at all of us with amusement.

"Well then know that there is a time and a place. This garden is not one of them." The former Titan Queen said with a wry smile as she began to walk past and only now did, I notice the giggling figures of Phoebe and Leto both standing behind her. It was hilarious to watch Harmony flinch when Phoebe winked at her all the while Leto smiled serenely as they both followed Rhea.

"To be fair, it was nowhere near the worst thing that has happened in this garden." Arethusa commented once the three Titanesses had moved away.

"Daughter I was clear at the time I never want to be reminded of that ever again." Atlas growled turning toward the Hesperide who smirked mischievously.

"Zoe's the one who chose to be the virgin one, the rest of us didn't. Besides Calypso was way worse than any of us." Arethusa continued before ducking behind her Titaness sister who was suddenly catching strays as Atlas trembled with rage glaring in her direction.

Putting two and two together quickly, I realised why he was upset. If they couldn't leave the garden and he couldn't move at the time. On top of that Orthrys was not here either...

Dude likely heard or even saw his daughter(s) going at and was stuck in the proverbial cuck chair. No wonder he was pissed off at being reminded.

"Now think about how my father will be when he finds out what you did. I can't wait." Kymopoleia told him as she grabbed his hand, and he suddenly stopped and turned to look at her.

"Sorry to interrupt but on that subject, what are you doing tomorrow morning?" Harmony asked causing them both to look towards her.

"The way you asked that didn't sound like a question. Do I even have a choice in the matter?" Kym asked clearly, not beating around the bush.

"Not really." Harmony told her bluntly checking her nails.

"Do you want me as well." Atlas asked seemingly curious.

"Sure, you can hold a sign up that says shoot here if you want. We can compare the aftermath to the last time I shot you with an arrow." Harmony told him sarcastically drawing her full-size bow for good measure.

"Less of that, we are all supposed be getting along now." I told her putting my hand over hers.

"Fine. No, I don't need you personally, however you are welcome to watch if you want." Harmony told him putting the bow away again.

"Can I talk to my daughter while I am there?"

"If she wants to and as long as it is only Zoe you speak to."

"Why on earth would I want to speak to the rest of them. I get enough scolding from that one." He complained pointing his finger at Kym who promptly grabbed it and began to spitefully bend it backwards, albeit with mixed success as the finger's muscles appeared to almost be beating her entire wrist.

Petty and violent as they both were, I wasn't sure if I should feel sorry for their poor child or terrified of their potential. Besides they were likely to be only the second naturally born Titan in the last three thousand years after my own child.

Which was a point, apart from clearly the four of us. Was there just not a lot of sex going on in the pantheons?

"Well seeing as I have no real choice, I suppose I will do whatever you want. You made it sound like Poseidon is also going to be involved." Kym deduced agreeing to help.

"As will Triton, your mother shouldn't be though." I told her, unlike the other three we had no form of leverage over the Queen of the Sea and neither of us wanted to owe her a favour.

"Oh well, I guess I will not get to see her face when she finds out. I can already picture fathers already, it will be delightful." Kym said seemingly already savouring the thought of telling him. The worst thing was I couldn't even blame her for her pettiness.

So, while the two goddesses talked for the next few minutes, I had some time to reflect.

Our father hadn't been a good parent to me for basically all my life and even after I became a demi-god, there was still times where I did not see him for more than a year unless it involved me getting dragged before the entire Council.

That was eighteen years, let alone four-thousand years of him actively working against your one defining purpose as the incarnation of storms. After first trading you off as a prize to an abomination for making you a fancy stick with three points.

Perhaps it was because of the ever-dwindling time until I too became a parent but the more, I thought about his hands off approach to parenting, the more bitter it made me. Which is why I was here, and Perseus was dealing with him.

That and because he wanted to show off his new property to someone who possibly cared more than Harmony did when he told her of his plan. I had to acknowledge that it was originally my idea from about a year ago, it had been a momentary distraction from my depression and PTSD. Sure, I had high hopes involving bringing everyone there but in truth that was all it was, a distraction.

Besides I had no more money back then than I did now.

The thing was, even back then I knew I could easily make it by using my powers as a service. I just did not care enough to do so and despite Artemis's complaining, we both knew that she quite literally had more money than she had ever known what to do with, simply from donations over the millennia.

Which for a goddess with little to no overheads as she and by extension The Hunt was self-sufficient for the most part, was largely pointless but mortals did it anyway for thousands of years. To answer Perseus's earlier question, Diana buying what she thought of at the time as 'rebellious' clothes every so often when she occasionally got off the chariot and Artemis's junk food was their only real expenses.

Perseus by contrast and to everyone's surprise was seemingly capable of making money legitimately. By selling a product to a willing market even if that product was my history. All I asked of him was to be respectful to the legacy of those that gave their lives during that time.

Not naming names but not everyone goes down like a hero of legend surrounded by the dozens of enemies, some would just trip over a rock and impale themselves on a fallen spear. What matters is that they tried to help others, even if it was horribly and darkly amusing at the time.

They still had mortal family members at camp that I probably knew and didn't wish to alienate. Monsters and divines though, go for the throat, what were they going to do about it? Remind everyone that they lost to a child?

Either way I cared not what he was doing, so long as it wasn't illegal under any circumstances and no troubles came about to bite me on the ass. He could do as he wished. Besides he was also desperate to get in the goddess's good graces... and her underwear, which to be brutally honest was an understandable goal.

Not that I found that she was generally unwilling to take them off in the first place.

'Daydreaming about something interesting, are you?' Harmony asked with amusement shocking me out of my thoughts. She was still talking to Kym, but I could see that her golden eye was looking in my direction.

'Just thinking that I am lucky to have you.' I answered smiling causing the goddess to instantly puff herself up a bit straighter.

'See Perseus, that is how you get on her good side.' I thought to myself. He was admittedly getting better at it over the last few days, but he would still throw the occasional comment into a conversation that would reset any progress he had made.

Harmony's ego especially regarding her looks was almost big enough that I was surprised it didn't have a gravitational pull. Then again, considering the way everyone of both genders stared at her it was entirely possible it did. It was something else I assume she inherited from her dear old father, along with several other character traits such as her ability to take anything said against her to heart.

Eventually though Harmony had finished talking to the other goddess and after another threat to Atlas about not fucking up their relationship, we were both finally on the move to the final very much unwilling participant in tomorrow's events. But not before listening to the complaints from the now full complement of Hesperides how it was unfair that they could not watch what was going to happen from the other side of the planet. They did however express an interest in meeting their long-lost sister whenever was possible. Now that Atlas was free of his burden, they did seem to have buried the hatchet with their hostility towards Zoe.

There seemed to be interesting dynamic now with the daughters of Atlas. Zoe who was originally a Hesperide before her rebirth no longer seemed interesting to want anything to do with the garden. Yet Calypso who was not even a nymph at all, had almost become an unofficial replacement member of the quintet.

So, while I was talking to several of the Hesperides themselves about Zoe, I noticed that Harmony had wandered over towards the Titaness and had a short chat with her. Unlike the inverse I had no idea what they talked about apart from there was a lot of nodding on Calypso's part before a seemingly triumphant Harmony came back to me and shooed the Hesperides away.

"You know there was nothing going on between us, she had a year to try before you if she had wanted." I told her quietly.

"I am not worried about that; they can all look as much as they want. I know where your interest lies. No, I was just sorting out a florist for the wedding." She told me confidently.

"So, is it easier to plan that without having to argue with yourself?" I asked curiously remembering the evenings of back and forth between Artemis and Diana with lost fondness now.

"I have a confirmed location, florist and a maid of honour, so I wouldn't go that far." She told me with a sigh before grabbing my hand.

(Perseus)

'Why did we do this?' I questioned weakly as lay on the couch looking up at the ceiling through squinted eyes.

Sure, enough my brother had arrived with a plethora of drinks and for a time everything had been fine as we discussed everything. Because all three of us had negated the alcohol in the drinks to stop any consequences.

Then for some reason I can't remember was that after we discussed the plan. We stopped playing it safe and if anything began to drink harder and I discovered vodka, something that combined with blue coke was palatable to me.

Triton ended up downing half a gallon of beer in one go because I kept restoring the bottle to full when it was halfway down but to his credit, he did it. Without looking I knew he was somewhere to my right by the snoring which meant he had to be on the floor.

As for dad, who would have thought the Lord of the Ocean could drink. Sure, he may be an old wine snob, but holy shit could he put away glass after glass, if anything he was outright abusing the fact that I was there to refill the glass for him. Vintage wines are by nature expensive as they have a finite supply, something I could completely ignore much to his benefit.

I take back anything I said previously about Harmony having a drinking problem. From what I can remember, it would be more appropriate to say how many crates he drank rather than bottles or glasses.

Yet despite all of that he was seemingly the first of us up and about. Last I saw was that he was on the bed in the room behind me but now I could only barely sense him outside down by the ocean.

Over the course of several minutes and no small amount of great exertion, I pulled myself upright and to my feet. Shuffling around to avoid treading on Triton's tails, I made it over to the door and walked out on to the porch, despite the fact it was still night, the full moon overhead illuminated the beach and I was sure that somewhere up there a goddess would be laughing at my dishevelled state.

Walking down onto the sand, I quickly realised I had misplaced a shoe during the evening but carried on towards the figure holding a fishing rod, the waters lapping up to his shins.

"It has been a long time since I was able to cut loose and just do what I wanted without fear of consequences." He said despite not turning to look at me. Walking through the surf I began to feel slightly invigorated slowly.

"You-urgh. Cough. You're the ruler of the Oceans what exact consequences are you worried about?" I asked after a short moment where I desperately tried to suck some moisture back into my mouth and throat.

"For that exact reason, I am kept ever busy by demands. There are always people that want to see me or have demands. The sun does not set on the sea's Perseus; I always need to do something somewhere around the world. Ever since the expansion of Greek and Roman influence beyond the Mediterranean I have rarely had an opportunity to have a long period of rest. I was lucky to have a day or two in a decade." He explained drawing the line on his rod back in after little success.

"I guess I should be glad that my domains are nowhere near as bad to manage then." I admitted.

"That is why your mother was special to me. For five weeks her company kept me here enraptured by one single mortal despite the pleas of all the denizen of the deep. I cared not for the anger of Amphitrite, the complaints from Triton at having to manage in my absence. Kymopoleia was allowed to run rampant and unchecked to her hearts content. All I cared about was one girl in a wooden shack down by the seaside and in the end, she rejected me. She sent me back to the sea and my obligations because she was not selfish enough to keep a god all for herself when his people needed him." He explained mournfully.

"Did either of you know then that she was pregnant?" I asked curiously.

"It would have been more surprising if she was not." He said with seeming amusement as he tossed the line back out.

"I would like to unhear that now." I didn't want to imagine my parents going at it like my counterpart and Harmony at every given opportunity, especially not in the cabin I now owned.

"As I said to you before, your mother was special. My transgressions that led me to this shore were truly regretful, but I will never apologise for the time I spent here or what came about because of it. I think in truth the whole world should be thanking me for it." He said arrogantly as I slapped him on back hard enough to make him cough.

"You being a good lover once is still not an excuse for being a deadbeat dad." I told him bluntly.

"How about we continue this conversation in a year then? Give you some time get some experience in the parenting game before you judge others. As for now, we better hurry and wake your brother. Your future wife does not strike me as someone we should keep waiting." He said laughing as I realised that I of all people had forgotten about time zones. It was still the dark of the evening here in Montauk, but it would be approaching noon soon in Greece.

Even my recently repaired shield would do little to prevent the goddess's punishment if I was late. Hell the only reason I had it was because of her in the first place. All because in her usual impatience Harmony had messed up yesterday, much as it turned out to my benefit. She had had enough of Percy making comments about it and had snatched the wrist band off him and had actually repaired it then and there returning it to how it was a month ago. Doing what neither of us could have hoped to do with our time control. The thing was I still had the other broken off half and sure enough, her brute force approach had actually resulted in that still existing as a separate piece.

So as part of my promise to help, I too inadvertently got my own now duplicated symbol of power back. Sure Percy had all the other ones but between a certain scythe/boxcutter and a sword and bident I was promised to be allowed back soon, my own arsenal was coming along nicely.

"Triton drag your sorry tails off the floor and get the fuck up; we have places to be!" I shouted running up the beach as my father simply laughed behind me.

AN. Well it is almost time to bring the Delos arc to an end with a bang as the islands coastal erosion is about to increase by a billion percent in the space of a second.

Still it was good to actually have an excuse to write some Perseus/Poseidon conversations and what led up to him breaking his oath against having more children.

That and I am trying to tie up a large number of plot points simultaneously so they do not take up time in the future. IE: Kym and Atlas's child, Zoe finding out about Thalia/Reyna. Regrettably the one point that I could not fit naturally inside the chapter was them getting their shield(s) repaired as it is kind of a big issue (Implied Spoiler) but for the sake of chronology it needs to happen before what comes next.

Anyway just got a quick trip to Olympus to do now and then on to the main event.

Have a happy Easter to all of you and don't forget to leave a review.
