A/N: Well, here it is kiddies, the last chapter of Happily Ever After. I know it is short, but I just had to add it, hope it was worth the wait! Enjoy! (and leave a review if you would!)
Our Happily Ever After
"So, that was interesting," Hermione commented as they reappeared somewhere she didn't recognize.
Sirius shrugged, "I do what I can," he told her as he guided her out of the alleyway they'd landed in.
"And announcing that we were together like that was…what? A way to get a rise out of people?" Hermione's amusement was apparent.
He looked over his shoulder a little to see her better as he guided her along behind him, "Well, the way I figure it, Fred and George probably made a profit off of it, Remus probably knew all along, Harry probably said something to the effect of 'It's about time,' Molly is probably fuming at the abrupt exit, and full of mixed feelings on the topic of you and I being together, and Tonks and Teddy are probably telling everyone they told them so."
Hermione stopped dead in her tracks, "You really think so?"
"Princess," he stopped to look at her, "I'm pretty sure I know so," he kissed her quickly, "Now will you stop worrying about them and take a look around at your happily ever after?" he grabbed her shoulders and turned her around.
Hermione gasped, there right in front of her was the most picturesque view of the Roman Coliseum she'd ever seen, "Sirius!" she breathed, excitedly turning back to look at him with wide eyes. She paused a moment to take in his expression of contentment before reaching her fingers into his hair and pressing her lips to his in a movement that seemed to have become addictive in the last few hours, "I love you," she breathed as she landed back flat on her feet.
"I love you too," Sirius replied, his voice unexpectedly a little hoarse.
"Good," Hermione winked at him, "Now let's go take a look at our happily ever after," she turned and wrapped her arm through his, leaning her head on his shoulder.
"Our happily ever after," Sirius repeated, his lips shrugging, "Sounds perfect to me."
And they all lived happily ever after. The End.
