She received texts from Sherlock almost daily since she had met him.

'Why is it that I'm unable to trace your phone? I'm quite sure that you are not intelligent enough to stop me from hacking into your mobile by yourself,

"Is it him again?" Barton asked, glancing out of the corner of his eyes when Kagome's phone vibrated with another text, "Why is he so obsessed with you?" His tone grew slightly irritated.

"Sherlock is like Stark and Banner," Kagome shrugged, clearly not annoyed as Barton as she had a small smile on her face, "He needs to explain everything with science and logic or whatnot."

"You're on a first name basis with him?" Barton raised a brow, "Do you like Holmes?" The thought was rather distasteful.

"Well, he didn't sexually harass me like Stark always does," Kagome huffed, "And he isn't bad-looking either. You should have seen his cheekbones," She laughed, but Barton wasn't amused, "And John was very nice to me."

"He tied you down with belts," Barton stated dryly, "Not even Stark has gone that far."

"And I probably could have gotten myself free of them if I tried," Kagome waved it off and Barton found he didn't like that at all, "Besides, isn't he also after the target? What's the harm in gaining some information from him?"

"First of all, you're technically not a S.H.I.E.L.D agent," Barton reminded her, "I didn't want you here to begin with. It's far too dangerous for an apprentice to handle."

"If I could kill someone like him, then a human shouldn't be that hard to deal with," Kagome frowned darkly, thinking back to the days where Naraku was alive, "Besides, you won't let anything happen to me, right, Master Barton?" She grabbed his hand and squeezed affectionately.

Barton couldn't reply because he knew she was absolutely correct in her assumption, "I still don't want you associating with either Sherlock Holmes or John Watson."

"Something tells me I'm not going to have a choice in the matter," Kagome simply replied, fiddling with her phone so she could respond back to Sherlock's earlier text, "He did seem pretty interested in my spiritual energy. For some reason, he could actually see it."

"Just don't grow too fond of them," Barton warned, seeing that he wouldn't be able to convince his young apprentice otherwise, "I shouldn't have to tell you that."

"I know." Kagome murmured, letting out a quiet sigh and cursed the fact that she couldn't get close to people anymore because of her association with S.H.I.E.L.D. But if she quit the secret agency, that would mean she would have to part with Barton and that was the last thing she wanted. She just wanted to have a little fun, that's all.

'Why don't you find out, Mr. Detective? You better solve your current case quickly because I won't be in London forever. Catch me if you can,
