Kind of a sequel to Bloody Tears, a one-shot I wrote in 2005 but it can stand alone. :D

Ken Hidaka sat alone in the dark, rather then sitting in his preferred place on the stairs, he sat on the couch. He nursed a glass of whisky, staring blankly at the static on the tv. Ken wasn't one to drink, in fact, he found alcohol downright disgusting. But, he felt so alone right now. More alone then he had ever felt before. Ken closed his eyes, letting his head fall against the back of the plush couch. Ever since Omi became Persia… Omi was the one person he knew he could rely on. The one person who kept him from loosing his sanity. He wasn't sure what it was about him… maybe his innocence. It made him remember that they weren't evil after all. Omi was the only reason that Ken was still here….

Slowly Ken's eyes slid open. He was so lost in thought he hadn't noticed that he had company.

Sena pursed his lips, his fists clenching at his sides. Why did his teammate always insist on calling him that? "Ken-kun!"

Ken simply stared at Sena. Sometimes the kid reminded him of Omi…

The younger boys features softened. "Ken-kun?" He took a seat next to Ken. "Are you alright Ken-kun?" Sena placed a comforting hand on his arm.

Ken downed the remnants of his drink, placing the glass on the small table in front of them. The more he thought about it, Ken was surprised he didn't confuse the teenager for Omi more often. They were eerily similar, in personality and psychical appearance. Ken let out a small chuckle as he ran a hand down his face. "You know Brat, this situation is awfully familiar."

Sena cocked his head to the side. "Familiar?"

The older man shook his head. "It's nothing." Leaning back against the couch, he closed his eyes. "Just, thinking about the past." He cracked an eye open, glancing at Sena.

Sena stood up and offered a hand to Ken. "You should go to bed Ken-kun."

Ken lightly swatted at the offered hand and shook his head. "After another drink." He picked up the bottle of whisky, refilling his glass.

"Ken-kun!" Sena sighed, sometimes Ken was too stubborn for his own good.

Ken downed the drink before standing up. He placed his hand on the shorter boy's shoulder to keep him steady. Maybe he shouldn't have had that last drink, he didn't realize how tipsy he was until he stood up.

Sena wrapped his arm around Ken's waist as he took his friends arm, putting it around his shoulder. "I take it you need help?"

Ken grunted, lightly leaning his weight on the smaller frame. "A little help wouldn't hurt," he responded above a whisper. Sena's company wasn't so unwanted when he wasn't being a brat or getting in the way on a mission. The kid helped ease his loneliness just a little. He filled the void in his heart his best friend left.

Sena shot him a sad smile. "Ken-kun…"

Moments later Ken was sitting on the edge of his bed. "Thanks Brat."

Sena childishly stomped his foot, "Will you ever stop calling me that?"

"Hm, probably not." Laying down he tugged Sena down onto the bed next to him.

"Ken-kun?!" A deep blush spread across Sena's cheeks. "W-What are you doing?"

A small smile spread across Ken's face. 'Omi..' Ken closed his eyes, burying his face into the crook of Sena's neck. "Just stay here tonight…," he mumbled.

Sena lay there peering down at him, "Alright…" The younger boy slowly wrapped his arm around Ken.

Ken was fast asleep. For the first time in years, he didn't feel completely alone.

I love Ken and Sena together almost as much as I love Ken with Omi, lol.
