If you knew anything about anything in Vice City, you knew who Thomas Vercetti was. The billionaire and infamous leader of the Vercetti Gang had been known this way since 1987. Tommy and his large gang were involved in rather highly organized crime that ranged from extortion to prostitution. In 2008, the Vice City drug lord returned to his place of birth - Liberty City. Niko Bellic was a younger and lesser known figure in the big city, but he was also a force to be reckoned with. After he blamed himself for the shooting of a woman he had strong feelings for there was nothing left for him in Liberty but his cousin Roman.
Tommy couldn't remember the last time he'd seen the city. It was louder now. Stranger, too. The 70's and the 80's must have been great here. He was in prison for most of those years, so it's not like it mattered much. He looked up from the coffee he'd ordered to see a man walk in and look around at the packed Little Italy restaurant. Tommy reluctantly offered him the seat across the table. They stayed silent before the man looked up. His eyes beneath the scar near his furrowed eyebrow were bloodshot and looked as though he'd been crying or doing drugs.
"You ever heard of Vice City?"
"I own that city, buddy." He smiled slyly.
