I miss Ace so much! And I bet Luffy does too, so I wrote this. I don't own One Piece. I hope you enjoy ^.^

Zoro awoke to noise. It was quiet, but it was still noise. He could normally sleep through such things easily, but since that "noise" happened to be Monkey D. Luffy, it was harder to ignore.

It was only him and Luffy on the ship at the moment; everyone eelse had gone out when they docked. So, whatever Luffy was doing, he was doing it alone. Of course, it was natural for the captain to talk to himself when he was bored.

"Luffy!" Zoro finally hissed. Luffy sat on the other side of the deck, staring out at the sea.

"Hm?" Luffy answered, turning back to look at Zoro.

"What are you doing?" he asked angerly. However, his anger quickly calmed when Luffy gave him a confused look. Whatever it was, it seemed he had expected Zoro to know.

"I'm telling Ace about the new meat Sanji cooked last night," he said like it was obvious.

Zoro blinked in surprise. Then he regretted being annoyed with the boy. If it was something like that, Zoro had no right to tell Luffy to be quiet. He knew loosing his brother was hard on Luffy. Of course it was. Ace had died right in front of him and there was no way Luffy could've stopped it.

The fact that Luffy stayed strong even after that amazed Zoro. That was Luffy's way, though. When normal people would shut down at such a thing, Luffy found it a reason to keep going.

"Don't forget to meantion the new pudding," Zoro told him with a smile.

"I almost forgot!" Luffy laughed. "Thanks, Zoro."

He turned back and continued to tell silly things to his brother. Zoro smiled and closed his eyes, listening, as he drifted back to sleep.
