The two stared at all the bodies that laid on the grassy floor. Lucy sat in the middle of the circle, staring at one body while Natsu went from one to another to see if they were really dead. Due to her sensitive nose, she sighed as she covered it from the stench of rotten flesh. When Natsu was done, he sat back to back to her.

"You think that was all of them?"

Lucy looked down. "I hope so."

They sat in silence. Lucy's face would redden from time to time, Natsu's words lingering in her mind.

"I knew I shouldn't of done this."

I turned to look at him, something he didn't do. He just continued to stare out into the woods. "I put you in danger. You would've died-"

"I can protect myself." I snapped, hurt that he'd think that I couldn't. Natsu shook his head. "You can't. You're a wolf. It would've took time for you to transform."

"So, you'd be dead by the time you'd be done."

He turned to look at her, his expressionless face made Lucy angrier. "How dare you think wolves aren't as good of fighters as vampires are!"

"I don't think. I know."

Balling her fists to keep from crying, she stood and started to walk back to her house. He of course followed her, making her feel more and more angered.

"You don't have to follow me."

"I'm protecting you."

"I can protect myself." She hissed, reaching for her doorknob. Natsu grabbed her arm and spun her around to face him. "You can't."

She glared at him. "I can. I don't need you-"

(Omg. My. Cat. Just. Had. A. Hairball. On. My. Rug. Wtaf.)

He stiffened. "Just get in the house, Lucy."

She straightened. "No. We're going to talk this out right here, right now."

Growling, his grip tightened as he stormed inside, yanking Lucy with him. When the door shut behind her, she yanked her arm free. "I said-"

Sighing angrily, he yanked her towards him. Ignoring her furious attempts to free her arm, he grabbed her chin. Her eyes flashed black. "Let me go."

His grip tightened on her chin. "No. You're too reckless, obnoxiously stubborn, arrogant to the fullest-"

She growled at him, her eyes black, her canines showing. His face that was still full of emotion as a rock, made her angrier. Just as she was about to lunge at him, he slammed her against the wall. "You're too soft. Too trusting."

"Shut. The. Hell. Up." She snarled, squirming in his grasp that seemed to grow tighter and tighter. He made her look at him. "See. You're asking me to. Not making me."

He tightened his grip. Having enough, she lunged at him, snarling. In a flash, her white canines whipped out, just to be covered once again.

By his lips.

She tired to pull away, but she had no luck. She put her hands on his chest and tried to push him off, but when she had no luck, once again, she gave up. Leaping right into the opportunity, he slid his tongue in and took control over the kiss. After a couple minutes, he pulled away. He rested his forehead against hers. "You're idiotic. Careless-"

She gripped the collar of his shirt. "I said, shut the hell up, Dragneel."

She pulled him in for another kiss. He bit her bottom lip as he realized she was putting up a struggle, causing her to give up, once again. She pulled away. "Damn….you…Dragneel…"

He smirked and nibbled on her ear. "What, out of breath already?"

Goosebumps flew up her body, making his smirk grow. "You'll be out of breath before the real fun even begins, Luce."

He kissed her collar, trailing up to her chin. She bit her lip, making him raise an eyebrow. "You can't keep silent forever, Luce."

She stayed silent. A mischievous smirk lit up his face as he kissed her neck, hard. Lucy gasped loudly and leaned into him as her legs gave out. She rested her head in the crook of his neck. "What the hell, Natsu."

He smirked devilishly and pulled her closer. She raised her fist over his chest. "I want to hit you so bad."

Her fist lowered slowly as his lips hovered over her ear. "But you wont. See? I know you Luce."

"I would. But I'm too tired."

He nuzzled his face closer to hers. "Mmhmm. Then why don't I lye you down?"

She laughed into his neck. "I know you well, too, Natsu. I know you won't be able to stop-"

He rested his forehead on hers. "That's what I was going for Luce."

Her throat tightened as she looked at him. "Natsu…Only mates-"

His fangs flashed out. Not taking his gaze off her, he moved the shoulder of her shirt down and put his hand on her collarbone. Lucy's stomach swirled as she realized what he was asking her. Slowly, she took a deep breath and nodded. "Alrig-"

His lips crashed onto hers, cutting her off. Her eyes widened before they shut.

Moments later, she laid there, staring at his bare chest. His arm that was around her held her closer, making her laugh quietly. His eyes opened and he looked down at her. She looked up at him, confused at his expression. "Natsu? What's wrong?"

He lowered his head towards her collar. "This is going to hurt, Luce."

He sunk his fangs into her collar. Scorching hot pain surged through her body as she flinched. Seconds later, he pulled away. Small trails of blood trickled down her collar. He gave her a apologetic look as she hit his chest. "How about a warning next time?!

He raised an eyebrow. "I'm surprised you handled that well."

"I can't feel it."

He smiled. "Yeah, that's how it usually goes."

She rolled her eyes and rested her head on his shoulder. "Jerk."

He chuckled. "Fine. Your turn."

She extended her claws. "See, I'm going to give you a warning-"

"Just do it."

Huffing, she scratched his chest above his heart. It of course, started to bleed. A lot. Jumping up, she cursed. Slipping on his shirt, she ran into the kitchen, almost tripping over Plue. She threw him a towel. "You may need this for a little bit…"

He grabbed it and put it to his wound. "Gee, thanks. You know, you look good in that."

Her face flushed red. "Shut it, Dragneel!"
