"Jaune! You come over here right now!"

"No, he's coming to us!"

"Jaune and I are partners, I'll take care of this."

"Ren? Buddy? HELP ME!"

"...No I'm already dealing with Nora. You're on your own here."

"TRAITORRRRRRRRRRRRR!"

"Daddy, social standards state that this is mandatory at some point."

"Is that something they told you? Don't turn against your father!"

"But I want to partake in this hair cutting!" she pouted cutely.

"Leave me and my locks out of this! Yang, defend me here!"

My last bastion for protection!

You understand the dislike of having your hair cut, right?!

The hot blooded blonde only struggled to not spit out her coffee in sheer fit of giggles.

"Hey, normally I'm against scissors and hair ever coming together, but this is funny. How are you hanging from the ceiling?"

I blinked.

"I'm what?"

That's when I chose to look at my hand and feet which had been laying completely flat against the surface of the ceiling. Then I saw the ceiling very distant from me as I saw little stars floating about. And splinters.

Lots of splinters.

"Way to land perfectly on the smallest table in the world, Jaune." Weiss looked down on me with a hint of a smile. "Ready for your punishment now?"

"...You're not even going to try to call it a makeover anymore are you?"

"If you want a make over, Nora's already got her claws into Ren." Blake chuckled as I turned to see the misfortunate Lie Ren.

Nora was straddling his lap, humming a tune, but I'm sure the joy of that was muffled by the braided hair and lip gloss that she was applying.

"Wow. You actually kind of look female."

"Jaune?"

"Yes, Rin?"

"I'm going to murder you in your sleep."

"Well then… I guess I have to get my laughs in now then. PSHA HA HA HA HA HA!"

Ren sighed as Nora just happily applied foundation to his face.

"I've sadly gotten used to this." Ren grumbled.

"Hold still, Ren, it's mascara time!"

"...Joy."

Pyrrah pulled me up and brushed me off.

"It's only a trim, Jaune. At least we're not doing a whole make up session."

"That doesn't cheer me up."

She smiled apologetically and I just absolutely caved.

"Alright, alright. For the sleepover. Banzai." I monotoned as I trudged to the chair that we had dragged out of the dining room.

"Banzai!" The others cheered with a laugh.

"Alright." I sighed sitting down. "How is this going to work and who's going to do it?"

"Well, we all want to cut it, so what we're going to do is brush it all out and everyone gets a little trim until we're all satisfied." Ruby cheerily waved a hair comb and a spray bottle with a smile.

"Don't worry, you won't be bald by the end of it. I'll make sure of that much." Yang grinned.

At least I know I can hold her to that. Man, I was really worried for a minute there.

Well, let's get this over with.

"So do you have those tarp things that go around my neck?"

They blinked.

I blinked

They stared.

I stared.

"You… forgot that none of us have something like that, didn't you."

"Well it's fine. You can just go shirtless." Yang chuckled as she took another sip of coffee.

"Huh. Yeah, that works. Whoa, you ok, Yang?"

She coughed repeatedly before swallowing the drink she almost choked on.

"And you're ok with that?"

I gave her a look of confusion as she blinked and then facepalmed.

"Ah, that's right. Silly me. Well… time to enjoy the free show!" she grinned as she grabbed a nearby chair and leaned against the back as she sat in front of me.

I pulled off my blue cotton shirt before noticing how close she actually was.

"You sure you're not too close to get in their way?"

"Ah, I think I'll take a part in the end after all." She grinned cheekily, pinching my cheek as she did, but her eyes weren't looking at my face at all.

"You know, I'm not against this." Blake mused, her ears twitching. Though she claimed to enjoy wearing a bow over her ears as they had been a present from her aunt as a small child, she saw less of a need to hide her ears from us now that we knew that she was a faunus and had no problems with the issue.

She had already suffered through the mandatory pat and prod from the other girls, so she didn't have to fear a surprise petting, although the twitching always drew my eyes to it for some reason and it seemed that Blake got a little embarrassed when she caught my eye at those moment.

It's kind of hard to tell that though, because she really is still aloof and catlike as she does so.

But she shifts her weight to the front of her feet as if she's ready to run, tends to scratch at her clothes with her nails, and takes slightly deeper breaths. She also likes to tilt her head to the right, although when she laughs at you or pokes fun at you she usually turns to look at you from her left.

Little things.

"Daddy, your scars healed over. They're almost gone now." Penny prodded at my chest. "Did they give you a healing injection?"

"Yup! I'll be right as rain with skin as clear as a sunny day. No bad luck for me!"

"So you'll never sweat? You'll be like me then! The Banzai!"

"It's just banzai, Penny." I laughed as I pat her head.

"So you believe scars are bad luck?" Ruby asked as she peeked over her hands, which cupped her cheeks, her normally pale skin tinted pink. "What for?"

"I didn't think that you'd be one to believe in such superstition. Even though you were raised in the country, you're a pretty firm man of science."

I shrugged.

"Well three reasons, I guess. One, I grew up with stories about scars leading to misfortune for heros as well as entire cities. Two, when a D'Arc lets a scar remain family honor dictates that we are to do so only to remember a goal we set for our life. And I guess the second is also the third in this case." I pulled the hair behind my left ear back revealing a blackened jagged line that hid itself in my hairline. "If a D'Arc let's a scar remain too long it turns black and affects our aura. My goal at Beacon is to find the Grimm that razed my village to the ground and kill it."

"I can't tell if it's good or bad that you say that with such a straight face." Weiss's brow furrowed. "Still, it's nice to know these things. I realized that none of us have had to talk about ourselves so much and that might have caused a few problems here and there."

"Might?"

The heiress smacked me lightly with the back of a hairbrush.

"Hush."

"Too early?" I laughed weakly.

"A little." Ruby agreed softly, still hiding behind her hands.

Penny looked lost before spraying my hair with a smile.

"Make sure you get his hair evenly. We want to moisten his hair without completely dampening it. That way the hair will be easier to sweep up afterwards." Pyrrah guided gently. "We have to do this also to have hair cling together in small locks of hair to better get an outline of his hair that we can mold and sculpt."

"Ooooh." Penny nodded in fascination, the small lenses and wires in her eyes moving and lighting almost indiscernible as she tried to get as accurate of a vision possible to take in all the information that she could.

"I think he needs a little trim in the back. His hair's gonna turn into a mullet if we let it go as is." Blake muttered as she took tentative nips with cold scissors grazing at the back of my neck.

"You hair grows out in layers, how nice. That's useful. It'll make styling it easier for sure." Pyrrah noted running her fingers through my bangs before clipping some hair back before cutting off chunks of hair. She kept getting distracted and looking down at me here and there though so the whole experience took longer than perhaps necessary.

"I'm not sure what exactly I should be doing here." Ruby admitted as she toyed with some of my hair. "I'm afraid I'll mess something up."

"Just trim some of the outside edges and make it shorter. Think of it as practice, just don't go too far in case we have to fix it."

"Oh thanks Weiss, I feel so reassured." The petite girl grumbled as she brushed up my hair and beginning to take tentative snips. "Sorry, Jaune."

Don't make it sound like you're guaranteed to mess up, Ruby!

"Daddy, hold still, i'm mimicking what Miss Nikos is doing! I don't want to mess up! For daddy this has to be perfect."

Auron, I almost wish you took her back to the hotel you were staying at now…

"You don't have to call me miss." Pyrrah smiled at the freckled redhead as she made careful snips and cuts. "Just Pyrrah's fine. I'm Jaune's partner, after all."

"Partner?..."

Penny looked at me, then at Pyrrah, and then back at me.

"Is she going to be my new mommy?"

Everything went deathly silent as four scissors fell to the ground with a loud echoing clatter.

"M-m-mommy?" Pyrrah turned a deeper crimson than her hair.

Yang looked a mix between cross and trying not to laugh, but her eyes were turning red for some reason. Literally! Ruby? You're not carrying Cresent Rose. What are you reaching for?!

Weiss. You're freezing the water in my hair. I'm shirtless and cold, please stop!

WHAT'S GOING ON?!

Blake? Why are your hands on my shoul-DDEAAHH OUWCH OUCH OWOWOW! CLAWS! CLAWS! YEEEEEAAAH THAT HURTS!

"P-Penny, honey, daddy's still single. She meant partner as a Hunter."

The killing intent in the room seemed to subside some at that, though Pyrrah looked away with a small aura of disappointment.

"The level of this final boss is so unfair." Ruby grumbled as she picked her scissors back up. "This would be so much easier if someone else found Jaune in the forest. That's such an unfair advantage along with how well they get along in the first place."

"Agreed." Weiss and Blake intoned monotonously.

"I'm not sure what's going on but maybe you be a little more careful with your claws Blake?" I smiled weakly. I mean, I'm sure it was an accident.

"Oh? OH! I'm sorry. I don't know what came over me." Blake bowed apologetically. "I'm usually pretty good at not using my claws without thinking.

Though rather than claws it's more like a second set of nails that extend out below the human ones that are pointed and dense for climbing and grappling.

"It's alright, I know you didn't mean it, Blake."

A small burst of aura and they sealed up like nothing happened in the first place.

"Should we take that as 'marking territory' Blake?" Yang teased.

"You're not going to stop with the cat puns are you?"

"But they're the purr-fect way to mess with you!"

"You're so immature." the faunus rolled her eyes, annoyed, but a small smile tugged at her lips as she began fixing my hair again.

"You know you love me." Yang laughed as she scooted closer to help even out my bangs.

"You know you and Jaune have the same shade of blonde hair, right?"

Yang paused before looking a little sick to her stomach before putting the scissors in her hand down.

"You're evil."

"You're welcome." Blake grinned.

Yang huffed before a coy grin appeared on her face.

"I'm so bothered and upset that I don't know what to do with myself. So I'm going to console myself by staring at your abs, Jaune. Don't mind me."

"Huh? Uh, ok?"

Four pieces of blunt metal rapped at my skull.

"Ow!"

"It's not like you girls aren't staring at him already." Ren sighed.

None of us could believe our eyes.

"What?"

"...I knew you were thin, but damn do you look good in drag." Yang turned in her chair with wide eyes. "I'd never guess you were male."

"Tadaaaa! Nora presents Lie Rin! The gorgeous! And elegant! And intelligent!"

"Yeah I'm not sure that guys will see miss Rin from across a room and think, 'Great brains on that girl,' Nora." Weiss turned away with an elegant hand covering her mouth as she hid a smile. "But Rin does indeed look quite pretty."

"Well, we could still call her Ren." I joked. "I mean it is androgynous, right?"

Nora blinked.

"Androgy-what?"

"It means that it can be used for both men and women, Nora." Blake informed the perky hammer wielder gently.

"Oooooh. So that explains why both Ren's grandpa and mom are both named Ren!"

Ruby crumpled to the floor in tears.

"I hate you, Jaune."

"Sorry!" I laughed. "I know better, but I couldn't resist."

"I'm going to grab a mooncake from the pantry. Have fun cutting his hair." Ren walked away with a twitching brow as the we tried to get a better hold of our laughter, though the moment he left it became a waterfall of sound.

"I feel bad, but it's too real that I can't help laugh." Ruby managed to say after gaining control of her breath, face still red from the intense laughter.

"Let's not pick on him too much for it though." I chuckled. "It'd be too cruel especially considering how most of our Clan is predominantly women. That'd be too big of a blow to anyone's manhood."

"Did I do something wrong?" Nora asked confused.

"No, no. But it'd be better if you don't make Ren crossdress too much."

"Okiedokie! It's a shame, he looks so cute as a girl, too."

Blake and I shared a look.

Poor Ren.

"I'm a little jealous of how thin he is, so I like making him dress like a girl. That and his hair's so fun to braid." Nora giggled.

"You're not chubby or anything. Actually you're pretty much on the lean side, some might even call you thin if it wasn't for your curves." Yang laughed as she flicked some of her golden hair over her shoulder. "Besides, guys tend to like being able to grab a handful here and there, right Jaune?"

"Huh? Er, yeah I've heard most guys say that… Wait, no. Don't look to me! I don't know this stuff!"

Nora 'boop'ed my nose before giggling.

"I grew up with Ren and every girl in his family is like super thin and lean, even his cousins. I practically grew up next to a family of supermodels. So I'm used to being the bigger girl all the time, even though I think it'd be awesome to be thin. I mean, Weiss is thin and gorgeous. I'm really jealous. It's not fair." she pouted.

"I think it's more unfair that you can eat so much and still not gain any weight." the heiress replied cooly. "You have ice cream every day and you haven't even gained a pound."

Nora blushed.

"Well I am trying to lose weight."

What part of that is trying to lose weight? This doesn't even include all the cookies you pilfer from Ruby as well as the fudge and pudding you have. Or the triple servings of food you have for every meal! You're a third of our food budget alone!

After coaxing the crossdressing gunman out of the kitchen and letting him back into his normal sleepwear, it was time to see how my hair had ended up. Luckily for me it was still of a decent length that I could grab handfuls of it. I didn't really like my hair being too short, but it was a little shorter on the sides than I'd have preferred, but not so much that it was uncomfortable.

"Now that's better than the ragged mane you had before." Weiss nodded approvingly as I wiped off the chunks of hair from my torso with a warm, damp towel.

Penny happily helped me clean up as she ran a wet fine toothed hairbrush through my hair to get all the stray cut hairs out.

"I think he looks better without a shirt, period." Yang made a purring sound as she raised her brows suggestively.

"Is that the only thing you think of, sis?" Ruby growled as she tossed one of the couches' pillows at her sister's face. "Control your hormones."

"Aren't compliments a good thing?" I asked, watching as the older girl tossed the pillow back starting a mini back and forth pillow fight with the one pillow.

What do hormones have to do with any of this?

"Not when you're just being objectified. We're women, just trust us." Blake said, sweeping at the cut hair and scooping into a dustpan before it was tossed into a plastic bag. "It's one of the things that we deal with the most."

She sneezed cutely as one of the strands flew up and tickled her nose before rubbing at her delicate skin.

"Alright then." I laughed. "Well, I'll have to shower to get the rest of the hair washed out. I don't want to walk around shedding everywhere."

At shedding we all stopped what we were doing and tried not to think about Blake and the word 'shedding' out of politeness, but curiosity was slowly taking a hold of us.

A few of us gave Blake a curious look.

She just rolled her eyes, knowing that we didn't mean any offense, but obviously lightly bothered by it anyways.

"I grow thicker hair during winter seasons and it does grow out faster, but I don't shed. That's why my hair's so wavy." she sighed, picking up a book and a fruit candy.

"Sorry, we can't help but be curious." I apologized with a smile.

Blake looked away before burying her face behind her book.

"It's not like you guys are asking out of malice. And no faunus is the same, so questions are usually a good thing, I guess. I also don't really mind you asking more about me, so..."

I nodded, smiling, before walking up the stairs to the showers, doing my best not to shake too much loose hair from my head as to not cause trouble for the others.

After having stayed out all day in the sun I had showered quickly after arriving at the Clan Hall, however that didn't matter as I had to head in again after the haircut.

I had to admit, looking in the mirror, that it was a good look for me. I still had my bangs, but they were out of my face a bunch more and the sides had evened out nicely.

All without having to once dress like a girl.

And now that is priceless.

A quick shower with some handmade almond soap later, as well as a lemon-honey shampoo that I had recently made, I headed back into my room to grab proper, as defined by Weiss, sleepwear and headed back down.

Although I had argued with her when the Clan first formed that me sleeping in the nude was the norm and that she was lucky that I wore pants to bed, she chewed me out for five hours straight about shamelessness before going on to talk about etiquette and behavior.

It was the longest five hours of my life.

And I'm a student.

Seriously.

"I'm back- what the hell is that?"

"Twister!" Nora cheered as she bent over backwards, putting her left hand on a yellow circle.

"We're playing a game, daddy!" Penny cheered as was told to put her right foot on a blue circle.

"What kind of game is this? I'd have thought Weiss would have argued against something with this much physical contact."

She normally didn't seem to like it that much, always blushing and pulling away.

I know that they call her an ice princess, but maybe she has an allergy to human contact?... No that's going too far. She just doesn't like being touched so much.

And there's nothing really wrong with that.

But I like hugging people.

The others seem to enjoy it enough, although Ren always points out that guys don't normally hug and Blake gets pretty quiet.

Now that I think about it I might have heard her purring a few times before, but I there was always some loud background noise like the dishwasher or the washing machine.

Or that one time Ruby went upgrade crazy with my furnace.

Or…

"Wait what the!"

"Right hand on red." Ren spoke spinning the wheel.

"Ok, let me just… HOLD ON! How did I get in here with Ruby and Weiss?!"

"You were thinking really deeply about something, so I just pushed you in there and gave you a turn after Nora beat Penny. We're just stepping it up with three people because two took too long." Yang laughed as she flicked the circle over Ren's shoulder. "Sis! Blue right foot!"

"Eh?! The only way to do that is to go over Jaune's arm!"

"Do it!" Nora cheered with a giggle. "Take charge!"

"THAT'S TOO EMBARRASSING!"

So you say, but you're doing it anyways, Ruby…

"Don't raise your arm, Jaune! Really don't!"

"Ok, ok, I'll try!"

Ren spun before looking at the board in his lap then looking at the three of us on the board and laughing.

Wait a second why is Weiss playing?

"Weiss, left foot, yellow circle."

"...Oh of all the… Ahem…. Mr. D'Arc."

Uh-oh.

She only went all formal when she's about to do something really out of character or that embarasses her greatly.

"I need you to, erm, raise your hip. I need to reach the yellow over there."

"Huh, oh, sure."

However this placed Weiss right under me, the scent of vanilla lotion and mint shampoo wafting up towards my nose as I tried not to put pressure on the girl.

Or inhale too much.

Or too deeply.

Shoot, my heart's starting to beat something fierce.

"H-hey! I told you not to raise your arm!" Ruby flushed madly as it rubbed against her upper thigh. "Be careful!"

"Sorry! I-"

"Eep!"

We all stared at Weiss.

"S-shut up and stop staring at me! I'm a girl too you know! Jaune you're pushing up too hard against me!"

Yang snickered.

"That's what she said."

"OH OF ALL THE INSUFFERABLY IMMATURE THINGS THAT YOU SAY, YANG XIAO-LONG!"

"JAUNE!" Ruby yipped as my arm rose into her groin, "WHAT HAPPENED TO- AH! STOP MOVING!"

"I can't help it! Weiss is pushing up against me! What do you want me to do, pin her down?"

"NO! I JUST! LOWER YOUR ARM SOME!"

"SPIN THE WHEEL, REN AND SAVE ME!" I yelled at the lotus child who gave me a look of amusement with fushia eyes.

"I don't know, this is starting to get funny…"

"REN!" the three of us yelled as he chuckled, spinning the wheel again.

"Alright, alright. Jaune…. pft…. right hand blue."

"Oh thank… wait that doesn't help Ruby at all. Dammit. And the blue I can reach is… Oh you're kidding me. That's the only blue in reach?! Are you joking?! Is this rigged?"

"No, but I wish it was so I could take credit for it. I didn't even know that that was there until just now." Ren laughed.

"Sorry Weiss." I sighed before reaching over her and pulling my hand towards myself, putting pressure on the back of it.

Right below her chest.

"J-Jaune!"

"It's the only one in reach and I can't even turn my hand around! I'm even straining to not put pressure on you!"

"I can still feel plenty of pressure though!" the heiress flushed, turning her face only to brush her lips against my neck.

"WHOA!" we both cried out, almost toppling over.

"Be careful!" she berated, face hidden by a curtain of hair.

"I could say the same to you! My skin feels like it's burning from that!"

"Hoh? Sensitive neck. I'll make note of this." Yang grinned cheekily before Blake bonked her on the head with a small notebook.

"...Might as well take real notes." Blake said turning her head the other way.

"Oh, I like the way you think, girl! Jaune! Do well! Next round is you, Pyrrah, Blake, and me! Let's have some fun!"

"I get the feeling that I'll be victimized as much as Jaune." Pyrrah stepped away from the grinning blonde who was making groping motions with her hands.

"You might want to put on some underwear if you don't want Jaune to accidently see anything he shouldn't, Pyrrah." Ren warned as the amazoness flushed.

"I'll be right back!"

Nora jumped on the lotus child's shoulders as she rocked side to side, crushing his face between her thighs.

"That's not the kind of thing you say so easily to a girl, Ren!"

"I won't say anything about this then." he laughed back at the orange haired valkyrie as she pouted.

"CAN SOMEONE SPIN THE DAMN THING ALREADY?!"
