I turned and looked back at Snape with a look that daring him to make a snarky comment, and surprisingly, he let his mouth shut and stayed quite. Everyone in the class turned to me and looked at me with a new found respect, though not because I was the boy-who-lived, but because I made Snape shut his mouth for once.
I snarled at Draco who was about to open his mouth, however, his eyes travelled around the room once and then he looked back at me and gave me an approving smile and actually smiled. What was the world getting to? Draco was smiling at me!
I just scowled at the weirdness of everything and looked back at professor Snape, waiting for the next person to finally come forward. I felt more than heard the next class coming towards the class and heard Draco leave a breath of relief. I looked at him questioningly, but he shrugged it off. Malfoy shrugged the matter off. The day was just getting weirder with each passing minute!
As I looked at the door to look at the approaching class, I saw it was the sixth year Gryffindor and Ravenclaw class. Great, it was now Gin's turn to be entertained! I looked back at Snape, expecting him to order us to pack up. However, he just looked at the door, called Luna in, scribbled over it, and handed it to Luna with instructions to hand it over to the potions professor.
He then looked back at us and then gave an exasperated sigh as he threw his hands in the air exasperatedly.
"What are you waiting for? Make room for the younger year, will you? Everyone, shift your places and adjust with the sixth years!" He ordered.
"But professor, what about our potions class?" Hermione asked, as was expected of her. But Snape just shook his head, which was so out of character for him, but come one, weirder things had happened in the last hour!
"You would be pleased to know Miss Granger that I had to... borrow your potions hour. Now... SETTLE!" He bellowed to the class.
I narrowed my eyes at Draco when I saw him go pale. I sighed and shifted over to the corner of my seat, and co-incidentally ended up sharing a seat with Draco Malfoy, of all students. And before anyone else could, Gin walked over and sat next to me. Malfoy and Gin looked at each other, sneered and then looked away.
I huffed at their childish display and turned my attention back to Snape. Wrong decision, because he smirked at me. He actually smirked at Me. He gave the juniors a description of the class before turning back to the scroll, he then frowned, picked up another scroll of parchment, and waved his wand over both the parchments, and merged them into a single list. I felt Gin snuggle into me, though it was due to fear of the upcoming class, and I absently ran my hand on her back to soothe her.
I looked back up at Snape in time to see him smirking at us. I narrowed my eyes as I saw him wave his wand once more over the parchment making it disappear. I had suspicions in my mind, which were only proven true when he smirked evilly at me and spoke the next name, which am sure was not the next one on the list.
"Ginerva Weasley!" He barked at her, and I felt her tense in my arms. What could be her deepest secret or desire that would get out such a reaction from her? Now I was curious. I pushed her forward towards the front and she cast me a glare. I just stared at her, daring her to utter a word. I was angry enough to not care. She huffed at me and walked towards the cupboard. The cupboard opened and the show started... Once again!
It was my wedding day, I was in my wedding gown and my dad was walking me down the aisle towards Harry. He stared at me as I took each step forward slowly, knowing it was torture for him. I finally stood in front of him, and smiling he grabbed my hand we turned to the minister for our vows.
We said our vows and sealed our vows with a kiss. We then had the customary first dance, before the others joined us on the dance floor. After a few dances with Harry and the others, Harry and I left the dance floor in favour of a few drinks. Soon it was time for dinner and our family and close friends were all sitting around our table, talking and having dinner.
We soon retired to our beds. However, I feigned tiredness and went to bed and promptly fell asleep the instant we stepped in the room. I avoided having any intimacy between us for a month or so before I broke up our marriage, demanding a divorce. It was all a perfect plan, and so far, working accordingly.
Me feigning tiredness each night, not allowing any space for intimacy. The pattern followed for the entire month, before I started accusing him of ignoring me, and having an affair with someone else. Accusing him of not loving me, I would demand a divorce from him. He would deny and try to avoid it, but later give in. I would have my divorce, and according to my plan, half his fortune too.
I had planned killing him, getting his whole fortune and just be done with it. But I owned him a life debt since he saved me in second year, and hence I would be unable to kill him, no matter how hard I tried, and I did not trust anyone to do my dirty work for me. Hence, half of his fortune had to suffice.
And then I could finally live with Theodore Nott, who hated me because I was poor. I would then be richer than I am now. He wouldn't have a reason to reject me then. And if he is married by then, I might just have to play a few games to get them divorced. I could do that for him, for his fortune, and I would.
I turned to Gin with eyes that were blazing. I knew I had finally snapped, but now I just did not care any. Knew every dark wizard could now feel the darkness in my magic. Knew they would finally figure it out that I was a dark wizard. But I really did not care. They could all go to hell, for all I cared!
She shivered under my cold gaze. Severus and Malfoy's eyes snapped to mine, and the other Slytherins all looked at me in awe while the Gryffindors stared at me in shock, fear and disgust. They knew! I looked at Malfoy and Snape and for the briefest moment, my eyes glowed not the Avada Kedavra green but blazing crimson.
Snape's eyes widened when he noticed my eyes and he took a step back, while Malfoy staggered. I knew they would now know my addiction to the use of magic, and my immunity to addiction of dark magic. They would know that now my power really did match that of Voldemort's. But I really did not care. The one girl I loved truly actually only loved my money! My fame!
She came over and fearfully sat down next to me and after staring at me with pleading eyes, urging me to believe that it was all a lie, she actually snuggled up to me with her face pressed in the nook of my neck. It took all of my self-constraints to prevent me from shoving her and throwing her on the ground. I looked at Snape with a fire in my eyes that made him tremble.
He walked towards me and tried to drag Ginny away from me. However she clung on to me, and fought Snape. She actually still clung to me. I snarled under my breath, and Snape snapped and threw Ginny towards the door, away from me. I looked at Ron, just to be sure that he wouldn't hold anything against me. However, he met my eyes once, before turning to Ginny.
"Ginerva Weasley! I never thought you could sink so low! We call ourselves a light family; dark families perform acts better than yours! Hell! Malfoy would have better respect for his friends and loved one's feelings! Do not ever show your face to us ever again." He seethed, and was about to walk back to his seat when he turned back once more,
"Oh! And don't bother ever returning home. I disown you from the family. Our family is better off without a gold-digger as a part of it!" He then turned to Harry and gave him an apologetic look and then his look changed to one that suggested 'she's all yours!' before turning to Hermione and sitting down next to her.
I turned to Ginny then, finally meeting her gaze. As our eyes locked, she shuddered under my cold gaze. As he took a few steps towards her, she instinctively staggered back towards the wall. However, he stopped there, as if snapping back to attention when he saw her movements. Everyone took a deep breath of relief, a bit too soon.
He closed his eyes, and after a moment, rings popped on his fingers. He had the Slytherin, Gryffindor and Potter family rings on his fingers that denoted that he was head to Gryffindor and Potter lines, and heir to the Slytherin line. Everyone stared at him in shock, for no one knew he was a heir to Gryffindor and Slytherin.
His eyes turned cold and dead as he turned back to Ginny. Focusing all his magic on the three rings, he spoke in a calm voice.
"I claim the life debt Ginerva Weasley owes me!" His voice was calm, yet strong and cold. In an instant, a glow emerged from Ginny and settled on the three rings before dissolving. He then calmly returned to his seat turning his attention back to Snape with a look that clearly stated for him to resume class.
Snape coughed, grabbing everyone's attention, before looking pointedly at Ginny. No one knew what had just happened, no one knew how Ginny had paid her life debt, but they knew better than to ponder on the thought. They all turned to Ginny as she stood and walked back to her seat. However, she staggered as she tried to walk. She took out her wand to cast a diagnosis on herself, waiting for something to happen. But even after a long moment... Nothing!
