Like You, Like Me

So you're a young, young boy
With your blond, blond hair,
And your blue, blue eyes
With a face so fair.

You may be polite
And you may be discreet,
And you have a little charm
That makes 'em kneel and kiss your feet.

But I know that,
You're only hiding.
And I know that,
You're only biding

Your time.

Like you, like me,
Our locks have no key.
To ourselves we know we're cowards,
Afraid to movve forwards.

So I'm a young, young girl
With my black, black hair,
And my brown, brown eyes,
Locked up in my lair.

So no one sees the soul
That is closed up inside,
No one sees the prison,
Of which i hide.

Yet somehow, I know
You're hiding.
And somehow, I know,
You're biding

Your time.

Like you, like me,
We could never be free.
Chained, we have been,
In this world full of sin.

Like you, like me,
We will never be free.
I see you, but you don't see me,
Though we're from the same old tree.

Like you, like me,
We share a Destiny
You shall soar high...

...And so will I.
