AN: Just two reverso poems I wrote real quick. I got the idea from a children's book called Mirror, Mirror written by Marilyn Singer. The idea is you take a poem, then reverse the order of the lines so that it says something different the opposite direction, but still makes sense. I thought this would be cool to do with Arthur and Merlin since they're supposed to be two sides of the same coin (ie the title...).

So anyway, hope you think its cool and enjoy it. It's very simple but was very difficult to write! I'm superbly impressed with Marilyn Singer for the complex poems she wrote. Enjoy!

Arthur

I might as well be dead.

Magic,

without

Merlin,

pierces me,

Arthur.

Without

the sword,

I might as well be dead.

Merlin

I might as well be dead.

The sword,

without

Arthur,

pierces me,

Merlin.

Without

magic,

I might as well be dead.

AN: Okay so as you can see the first line is the last and the last the first and the second the second to last etc. Hope you liked it, leave me a review and if you try to write a poem like this let me know and I'll check it out! I think these things are SO cool and I love to read them... don't know if I'll try to write one again though...

God bless!
