Jack slowly ate his bowl of fruit loops, bunny sitting across from. Him at the large table.
"How come you wouldn't let me see your arm last night?" Bunnymund asked out of nowhere.
Jack looked up from his half eaten cereal, going silent.
"I know I said we wouldn't speak about it, but you were hiding something. Why won't you tell me what?"
"I don't want to talk about it... There isn't anything to talk about, anyway. I don't have to explain myself to you." Jack challenged, pushing his bowl away from himself.
"Don't run away, jack. I won't drop it until you tell me what's going on."
"I'm fine. You already saw that. drop it already."
"You already know I won't, Frostbite. And I don't plan on forgetting it either. You're acting weird. Just tell me what's up!" Bunny shouted incredulously.
"Nothing is up. I'm fine. I keep telling you that!" Jack yelled back, standing up from the largely empty table.
"You are not 'fine', jack. What about those marks on your legs?! Don't deny them. I'm not blind."
"I'm not denying them! I lived in a forest for 300 years, for manny's sake. Of course I got hurt in that time. It's not like I could treat myself. It's not like anyone cared enough to talk to me, or help. What do you want from me?!" Jack shouted, throwing his hands into the air for emphasis.
Bunny went quiet for a minute. " I... I'm sorry. I didn't think about that..." Bunny sat back down in the chair. His ears down in a mix of defeat and guilt.
Jack sighed before grabbing his staff and leaving. On his way out, he told Aster "I'm going to take a nap... I'll see you later."
Bunny nodded in response
Jack found his way back to the room he was in the night before. He closed the door as quietly as he could before slumping down in front of the door. Jack curled up, resting his chin on his knees. He lay there for quite some time before he heard the arrival of sandy and the tooth fairy. They would probably decide to take a nap after hours of work.
"Maybe I should go down soon..." He thought aloud.
Jack spread his legs out, deciding to look around the room. He had been there for hours, but he didn't even know what the room looked like.
It was actually quite plain. The walls were a cream white, the furniture mostly wood. The bed stood out the most, being that it had blue sheets. It was the only colorful thing in the room.
"Vat do you mean, Jack had an accident?! What happened?" North bellowed from downstairs.
Jack knew he would have to see them all sooner or later, so he decided that he better go and see what was going on.
"North, wait. He's fine. You're storage room just roughed him up a bit. He said he wanted to be alone."
"If he is hurt, then he should not be alone. Does not make sense."
"Who said I was hurt?" Jack asked, popping seemingly out of nowhere.
"Jack! Is nice to see you." North said, taking a step closer to the winter bringing teen.
"I was just telling North that he should clean up before someone gets seriously hurt." Bunny said
"I could hear. Why do you guys always yell? Can't you talk like normal people?"
"Now, that wouldn't be any fun. By the way, how's your head?" Bunny said, whispering the last part to jack. North heard nonetheless.
"You hurt your head? Is no good. Are you okay?"
"I'm fine, just bored." Jack laughed while he scratched the back of his head.
"You seem better. How was your nap?" Bunny asked, crossing his arms while a grin made its way onto his face.
"Who needs a nap when there is so much to do? Hey, what time is it anyway?"
"Just past 6. Why?"
"Anyone hungry? " Jack asked, grinning from ear to ear.
"That a trick question?"
Jack laughed and shook his head
I'm thinking about doing a version of the movie where jack has no powers, but the wind is still on his side. Opinions?
Jack entered the kitchen, taking the leftovers from the day before out of the fridge. He slowly heated each entree up, sitting them atop the giant wooden table once they were warmed.
Phil walked in, informing jack that north wanted to see him. Jack nodded him off, leaving just before the yeti. Phil swiped a cookie before leaving the dining room, door open.
"You wanted to see me?" Jack asked, balancing on top of his staff.
North turned to jack, "jack! Just the guardian I wanted to see." North exclaimed gleefully
"So what's up?"
"I wanted to show you something. Come with me, Jack" North said mysteriously, a grin still visible on his face.
"What's this about? Am I in trouble or something?" Jack hopped off his staff, trailing behind the jolly old Russian.
"Not trouble. Just wait and see." North smiled
They walked through the hallways and up several flights of stairs.
"You should really had an elevator put in." Jack said, in an attempt to start a conversation
North remained silent until they stopped in front of a white door amidst a hallway of blues. "You get the honors, jack." He said as he tossed a silver key to Jack
Jack caught it, his gaze shifting from the key to the Russian. "What do you mean?"
"Open the door, jack." North grinned.
Jack walked froward cautiously, holding the key out to the door.
"Guys, what are ya doing? The elves are in the kitchen! hurry!" Bunny shouted from the end of the hall.
Jack shoved the key into his pocket before racing down the hall.
You guys can probably see where this is going by now (:
Okay, sorry for the delay. School is busy, and my dog (she's a pom) got lost over the weekend. Thankfully we found her. I was worried sick. She's 14, will eat anything(especially sharp or cotton things), and has several health issues. Im so glad shes back. Now she's not allowed outside when i'm not home. I wish we had somewhere to put her :/ she even tried to eat a wall. She only does this when I'm not around. Otherwise, she sticks to me all day. Shes back and unharmed, so thats good (: i may be able to update more often in a month or so. My Dad'll be back, and he can fix up an old computer. Im supposed to get one from this place, but they never answer their phone :/ our chow is doing better
