I have a massive case of writer's block, so I'm editing a lot of my work and adding little details that I did not think of when I posted the chapters. With a little luck and some patience, I should be able to keep writing soon, I'm lacking a lot of motivation right now.
Lost Chapter 1- Prologue
Minato Namikaze stood on the back of a giant toad with a small bundle of blankets in his arms looking at the massive beast before him.
'It's now or never', Minato thought as he laid the bundle down and began to rapidly form a long set of hand-seals.
Just as he finished the last seal, he felt something activate and, with a tug behind his navel, the world disappeared as the Kyuubi disappeared.
All around him was chaos and destruction. Jiraiya of the Sanin flinched as he took in the massive amounts of damage that had been dealt to Konoha. It was even worse around the actual site of the Kyuubi's disappearance.
"Oh Kami. Minato, why did you do it?" The white haired Sanin whispered to himself as he picked up the small bundle on the ground near where the great toad and the Yondaime Hokage had last been seen. In the blankets and sleeping peacefully was a small, blond haired, and more than likely blue eyed child. Naruto Namikaze Uzumaki, the newest member of the village and the Jinchuuriki of the Kyuubi no Yoko.
Hiruzen Sarutobi had lived a long time.
He had not had a peaceful life, but he was grateful that he was alive. He had seen many Shinobi die in front of him, both good and not. This was something else though.
As Sarutobi watched the demon draw nearer, he realized that he was truly terrified. Never before had he seen a full bijuu the chakra levels alone were debilitating.
There was a spike of sage chakra and a large toad appeared with a figure on his back.
'Minato. This is it, then', he thought, 'goodbye Minato. Good luck.'
"I'll look after him." He touched the glass as a shock wave rolled through the village, shaking buildings and blowing out windows. When the dust cleared, the Yondaime Hokage was gone and so was the Kyuubi.
The only signs left of their presence was the massive swath of destruction, a small bundle of blankets, and some very bad memories.
