Silent Night

Jennifer Reid was the kind of person that around Christmas she would have the tree up, hot cookies baking, presents under the tree and Christmas music playing along as she cleaned the house.

"Silent night, Holy night. All is calm, all is bright 'Round yon virgin , mother and child." JJ starts singing to Kelly Clarkson's Silent Night song. Her voice was higher than the singers but that did not matter to her.

Henry of course did not mind that his mother sang while she cleaned. He loved hearing her mother's musical voice throughout the day. He sat on the living room floor with his stuffed dog Max just listening to his mother's voice.

"Holy infant so, tender and mild. Sleep in heavenly peace, Sleep in heavenly peace." She kept singing the Christmas coral with ease. Infant. I remember when Henry was a little baby. He was adorable and sweet. JJ thought to herself with a wide smile. Slowly she bent down and picks up a block.

"Silent night, Holy night. Shepherds quake, at the sight, Glory streams from heaven afar. Heavenly, hosts sings Hallelujah. Christ the Savior is born, Christ the Savior is born." Those lovely words made Spencer come out to the living room from his office. Sitting down next to Henry and just listening to his wife finish her singing.

"Silent night, Holy night. Son of God, love's pure light. Radiant beams from thy holy face. With the dawn of redeeming grace,
Jesus, Lord at thy birth, Jesus, Lord at thy birth." JJ finishes singing to a bunch of giggles from her son and clapping from her husband. She looks over and chuckles. "You two decided you wanted a show of me singing and cleaning I see." she did not really mind though.

Henry nods. "Yeah! ueatiful mommy!" he tells his mother with a wide smile.

"He is right, a beautiful song." Spencer whispers. "And a beautiful wife singing it."
