Chapter 9

Find Me

Harry paced back and forth across the Slytherin common room. He kept raking his hands through his hair. "Harry calm down," Draco said.

"Calm down," Harry snarled, his magic lashing out and causing everybody in the common room to scramble away from him. "My brother hasn't woken up in weeks. Who ever did this to him is going to pay for it, I can promise that." Putting up a mask, Harry gracefully exited the common room through the portrait and made his way to the Great Hall for dinner. Draco, Blaise, and Theo hurried after him.

As soon as Harry stalked into the Great Hall the students in the room fell silent. Harry ignored the silence and stalked his way to the Slytherin table and gracefully sat down amongst his peers. Draco, Blaise, and Theo following close behind him. Harry slowly added food to his plate and chatted with his classmates, pretending that a million thoughts were not going through his head at the moment.

'I'll find out who did this to you Alex, don't worry,' Harry thought as he smiled towards his peers.

After coming back from his visit to the Hospital Wing, found Severus hunched over Potions books trying to figure out which potion could have put Alex in the comatose state he is in. Severus was very sleep deprived, after spending weeks leaning over books and watching over Alex.

Severus was knocked out of his musing by someone coming out of his floo. Spinning around with his wand drawn, Severus stalked towards the intruder, only to come face to face with his best friend, Lucius Malfoy.

"Hello, Severus," Lucius said, spelling the soot off his clothes.

"Lucius," Severus said with a nod, after putting away his wand. "What brings you here?"

"News," Lucius said. "News that you probably wouldn't care about, because of what's going on but I think you should know, so that you can tell Alex when he awakens."

Severus lead Lucius to his sitting area and took a seat. "What news Lucius?"

"I have pulled on the rights strings and finally got them to review Sirius Black's case and they are going to give him a trial," Lucius said with a prideful look.

"Hopefully Alex will be awake by then," Severus said, running a hand through his hair.

Lucius gave Severus a look, that border on solemn, before saying, "He will wake up soon Severus."

"I hope so."

"I'm going to take a nap, Draco," Harry said as they walked back into the common room after dinner. "Wake me up in thirty minutes."

"Of course, Harry," Draco said taking a seat on a couch and pulling out his homework.

Harry, entered his room and sat on the edge of his bed. 'Think Harry. Think.'

'Who could do this to my brother? Who?' Laying back, Harry took deep breaths trying to calm his brain down. 'I'm going to take a nap and when I wake up, I will feel refreshed and ready to think some more,' Harry thought as he goes his eyes and fell asleep.

"Sev! Why didn't you help me?" Alex said, his tanned skin paling more and more as each second ticked.

"I thought you loved me!" Alex screamed as he fell to the ground. I reached my hand out to help him but Alex flinched away. "I hate you."

"Don't say that Alex, I love you," I said as tears fell down my face.

"No you don't you are just trying to replace my mother with me. You could never love me, like I love you," Alex sobbed.

"Please, Alex," I said.

"I hate you!"

Jolting up in bed, Sev looked around frantically for Alex only to realize it was only a dream. Rubbing his head with his hand, Severus groaned at all the emotions that was flooding his mind. Standing up, Severus changed out of his pajamas and into some robes. 'I won't be able to go back to sleep,' Severus thought, 'Might as well brew some potions.'

Just as Severus was about to enter his private potion lab, a banging at his door stopped him in his tracks. 'Who would come visit me this late?' Severus walked towards the door and pulling it open he came face to face with his godson, Draco.

"Uncle Sev, Harry won't wake up!" Draco said, the panic clear on his face. Before Severus could say anything, Draco was off, sprinting down the hallways.

"Tom," a voice whispered through the darkness. "Tom."

Professor Quirrell sat up straight and looked around. "Maa-aa-aaster do you h-h-hear tha-a-t-t?"

"Of course I do fool," Voldemort hissed.

"Tom, come to me," an eery voice whispered out of the darkness.

Professor Quirrell clutched his head in pain as Voldemort fought to take over. After a couple moments, Professor Quirrell looked up and his eyes, which were usually dull brown, were now a wine red color. Walking through his quarters, Voldemort stopped in the sitting room to see a young boy sitting on the edge of one of the couches with his back to him.

Walking around the couch, Voldemort came to stand in front of the young man. "Who are you?" The young boy stayed silent with his head bowed and his hands clasped in his lap. Voldemort reached out to grab the boy, but the boy's hand snapped up and grabbed a hold of his wrist.

"Tom, what are you doing here?" The boy said looking up, his big blue eyes captured Voldemort's attention.

"What do you mean, who am I? You're in my quarters," Tom snarled, yanking his wrist out of the young boy's hand.

"Tom, what do you want? Why are you here, in this school?" the young boy said.

"Why should I tell you?"

"I can help you."

"And why should I trust your word?" Tom asked, raising one eyebrow.

The young boy, looked down at his lap, before standing up and walking towards Tom. WHen he reached him, he looked up and Tom almost took a step back because blood was falling from the boys eyes. "I don't have much time left, but trust me. The stone you are after is a fake, placed in this building by Dumbledore. If you want to get your body back all you have to do is find me." The boy, slowly began to fade from existence, with one last plea he reached out towards Tom and said, "Find me."

*Meanwhile in the Hospital Wing*

Alex was still unconscious on the hospital cot, with Poppy bustling around making sure everything was up to par with his health. After casting one last, scan with her wand, Poppy walked back to her office.

With her back turned to Alex, as she walked away, she missed the one lone tear, that looked like blood, as it slowly fell down Alex's face.
