Normal text is Elsa speaking. Italics is her singing. Bold is Anna. Underlined means together.

I just want to protect you
Can't keep it in, I've tried
You're safe outside the door
No magic anymore
Power I need to hide

I can't be your best buddy
There's so much fear
I just can't tell you why!

Do you want to build a snowman?
Of course I want to build a snowman...

Go away, Anna.

Okay, bye...

The cold and ice are getting stronger
Have to ignore all of your calls
I think the storm is getting worse
I'm sorry that I'm cursed
Frozen are the walls!

No. Don't touch me.

I don't want to hurt you
Anna, stay away
The storm just keeps raging on...
Conceal it, don't feel it, don't let it show

Anna, I'm sorry I can't be there
Have to protect you from me
They said "You'll be fine" but I'm filled with ice
Comes at too high a price
Can't let you see

We only have each other
It's just you and me
Can I ever be free?

Do you want to build a snowman?

I can't

A/N: So around a week after Frozen came out, I wrote a rough draft of what happens on the other side of the door during Do You Want to Build a Snowman. I kinda sat on it 'cause that version sucked until recently where I decided to...make it suck less.
"Of course I want to build a snowman" is homage to Giselle AKA reindeersarebetter, who wrote an Elsa version, too. That and I couldn't really find any other lyric that would fit...
