"Clementine, are you done with that book I let you borrow?" Sarah asked as Clementine walked into the bedroom that they shared together. Yes, Clem was staying at the cabin. And yes, she and Sarah were sharing a room together. It's not like either of them minded though; they enjoyed spending time together.

"Which book?" Clem asked, sitting on the small bed... But she knew good and well what book that Sarah was talking about.

"You know!" Sarah exclaimed. "The one about the trans dimensional body snatchers." She explained to Clem. "That one is my favorite."

"Ah, no." Clementine replied. Truth is, Sarah lend Clem that book about a week ago, and the smaller girl hadn't even touched it. She had her reasons though; reasons that were unknown to Sarah.

"Are you almost done with it?" Sarah asked.

"I'm on the last chapter." Clementine lied.

"Oh good!" The teen girl clapped happily. "Do you think maybe you could finish it now, so that I could start reading it again?" She asked, her darken doe eyes wide.

"Sarah, you've read that book at least twenty times." Clem scoffed.

"So!" The older girl retorted. "Why can't you just finish it already?" She asked. The teen was quite fond of her SciFi book, and she wouldn't let anyone keep it from her.

"You wanna know why?" Clementine asked. What was the point in lying?

"Yes."

"I can't read very well... I haven't even started the book." She admitted. And at this point, that confession really brought out the kid in her. It was so hard to remember that she was only eleven years old, especially when she had already made so many dire and adult decisions. She could be trusted with life and death in her small hands, yet she couldn't even read a book. "I'm only eleven, remember?" She asked Sarah as she grabbed the book to give it to the older girl.

Sarah took the book, "Well why didn't you just say so? I would have helped you, or even read it to you!"

"You would?" Clementine asked.

"Of course!" Sarah exclaimed. "Come on, let's start now." She said as she climbed up into the bed with Clementine. "Chapter one..."
