Akiyo was currently walking around the Soul society, taking a break from her work. She disliked sitting down for too long. It made her feel like she needed to move even more than usual. As she walked along she hummed a random song that had popped into her head. Who knows how long it's been since she played any music outloud. Her hand was held against her zanpakuto to make sure she didn't get jumped or anything. Even since she became a lieutenant she was still paranoid.

As the young man walked down the streets of the Seireitei, he would occasionaly see a woman or two. When he did, he turn to look at the girl as she would walk away from him, a somewhat perverted smile would spread out from under his long pointed nose. He adjusted the white bandana, he wore around his head, and flicked the few strands of his dyed blue hair that had slipped out of place away from his eyes. Ando Kyofu, Sixth seat of the Fourth Division, grinned and whistled softly, today was a pretty good day so far. "Now, which of these lovely ladies should I honor with my company first?" he asked no one in particular.

Akiyo coughed into her arm as to cover the laugh had almost started. "Feeling a little too cocky, aren't we?" she said as she noticed the familiar head of blue hair. Judging by the sound of the voice it was his. Although it would be pretty embarassing if it wasn't. After all, he'd interrupted her musical train of thought. Oh the amusement she'd get from having a real life musical.

Ando grinned at the white haired girl, "Why, hello there, LT. Akiyo," he said cheerifully and gave her an exagerated bow, "I like to think I'm being youthful and confident. I wouldn't call it 'cocky'," the fourth division member said, but it was clear he was happy to see her.

Akiyo let her face fall into a fake pout. "Awww, it's just Akiyo. Besides, it's not like I'm any different than before you left" she said before breaking into her usual smirk. "I think you're behavior's more cocky than confident. It's that or overly-confident" she added in an amused tone.

Ando frowned slightly when she mentioned his leaving the Second Division, many of his former squadmates had not been very happy with his plans to transfer to the Fourth Division. To be honest he wasn't sure how he felt about it half the time. But then the smile was back on his face, as if it had never left, "Oh, it's all the same thing in the long run isn't it?," he said as he rubbed the back of his neck, then he added, " So, how does it feel to be a lieutenant anyway?"

Akiyo shrugged slightly. "I can't say it's particularly interesting. All I do most of the time is supervise trainees, look at graduates, and tons of paperwork. Be glad you don't have paperwork." she said with a slight shiver. She'd noticed his frown and decided to ignore it. "So. What have you been up to? Can't say ice seen you lately. AndI spend alot of time just walking around" she added with a confident nod.

Ando shrugged his shoulders at her, "Oh, pretty much the same as you, I'm doing a lot of work with trainees lately, though it feels like it isn't as much as I used to do with them," he said and shrugged again, "I guess most of the academy graduates want to be in the battle units, particularly the Sixth and the Second," he said and then grinned at her, "No doubt, because the Second has such a cute lieutenant," he said teasingly.

Akiyo shook her head before sticking her tongue out at the blue haired male. "Yeah. 'Cause that's what I need right now. A bunch of useless guys drooling instead of actually working. Now that I think about it yeah that might work. They can do my paperwork for me" she said finishing with a slightly enthusiastic tone. After all, she would be able to spend more time out of the office. "Actually scratch that. They'd probably do a half a** job and then I'd turn it in anyways" she said after thinking about it for a few extra seconds.

Ando laughed at Akiyo's words, "Yeah, you probably would wouldn't you?" He said, as he shook his head at her. Then he looked at her, still smiling, "So, if you been so busy lately, what brings you out of the office today?" He asked her, somewhat curious.

"Well the more I sit down the more I feel like I need to walk" Akiyo answered with a shrug. "I think about it like taking a break, for my sanity" she added with a nod of her head. Sadly she wasn't exagerating. "At least the paperwork will get done eventually" she said with a slightly nervous chuckle. She only had about half of it left to do. After that she'd be free to spend more time out of the office.

Ando nodded his understanding, "Well, I can't say I blame you," he said and then laughed softly, "that's why I'm glad I'm just a Sixth seat." The he looked around, "Things haven't been too bad in the Fourth Division lately, even the Eleventh ar behaving themselves lately... more or less. All in all, I have some free time if you want someone to chat with," he said with a shrug, not really sure hoe to talk to a woman when he wasn't trying to flirt with her.

Akiyo nodded. "I think I prefered being a fourth seat. The only way you had to do paperwork was if the lieutenant, third seat and captain were missing. Needless to say that never happened to me. I'm glad to hear things are going well for you. It would suck if they weren't. Just tell me if any squad elevens start trouble" she said as she punched her fist into her other hand in a mock attempt at being menacing.

Ando shook his head as he smiled at her, "Thanks, Akiyo, I'll do that..." then he looked around the street, "So, have is anything going on outside the Seireitei right now? It seems like things have been really slow lately," he said, actually, it's been a little too quite, he thought, but didn't say that out loud.

Akiyo sighed slightly. "I'm not exactly sure. There have been a little more hollows than usuaal but mostly weak ones. As far as I know the head captain doesn't think it's enough of a threat to send a squad out to investigate. There's quite a bit of Spiritual pressure gathering in one point. It's been the topic of most meetings" she said with a slightly baffled expression. As far as she was concerned a squad should've been sent to check it out the second things started getting strange.

Ando frowned, from the way she spoke he was beginning to think that he had good reason to feel like something bad was about to happen, then he shrugged deciding to change the subject, "So, aside from being busy, anything new?" He asked her, curious, since he often thought of the people who were in the same squad as him or his previous squadmates as family. Akiyo in particular was like a little sister to him.

Akiyo shrugged. "I can't say alot of things are new. The captains been really busy, so In turn I've been busy. The most interesting thing that's happened was me finding a new hiding spot" she said, finishing in a slightly sheepish tone. It was suprisingly true though. Not alot of her squad mates have been up to sparring so she's been bored.

Amaya was currently lounging half asleep in her office. She'd finished her paperwork and couldn't help but be half asleep. There was nothing to do.

Ando scratched his head, "Huh, what about... a sparring match," he said, after some thought, "I'm actually on my way to clean the eleventh squad barracks right now," he nodded, "I'm sure someone there would like to take you on," he said and then after a moment added, "Though I don't think the captain there likes me very much," he said, he said, as if he couldn't possibly imagine why the woman in question would dislike him.

Akiyo chuckled under her breath. She could only imagine what he'd tried to pull that pissed off Captain Shinotenshi. "Well then I shall escort you over there" she said, hinting at her higher rank. She stretched her arms over her head slightly before bringing them back down to rest behind her head as she put on a slightly large smile. "Come one then" she said before dashing ahead. Now that a fight was mentioned she was excited to get there quickly.

Ando grinned, "Ah, you're too kind," he said as he followed behind her, though at a more sedate pace, Ando wasn't really one to rush anything. Though as he thought about the current lieutenant of the Eleventh, he couldn't help but pick up his pace slightly.

Adalia grinned as she tried to keep from outright running over there. Although admittedly the run would probably help her stretch out her legs. to keep her mind occupied she wondered about who she'd be able to spar with. Maybe the captain herself!((Not gonna happen XD)) Or the Lieutenant. Maybe even the third seat. Hell, even the fifth seat.

"Hey, you don't need to run, the eleventh division isn't going anywhere," he said, and then turned as he walked past a pair of women from the tenth division, and he started whistling to himself again.

'You try being cooped up half the day. Besides, how do you know they're not going on a mission or something?" Akiyo said as she looked over her shoulder. Her amber eyes held amusement as she saw his reaction to the squad 10 girls.

Ando turned back towards her, "Well, if the Eleventh was moving out, even for a short time, the Fourth would be having a fit cuase we'd have to deal with those guys enforce. Never fun," he said shaking his head. "They always cause such a mess when they show up."

11/8/2011 #25
Mistress of Time and Echoes
'Well i suppose that's good enough reason....But they are good for a spar. You so can't deny that" Akiyo said as she continues walking at her brisk pace. Walking caused some wind. It was nearing the end of summer which meant fall was just up ahead. Winter was expected to be cold as usual.

Ando shook his head, "Maybe I can't deny it, but it doesn't really matter to me, anyway. I don't like to fight, you know that," he told Akiyo. That was actually a big reason as to why he had transferred to the Fourth. He then looked ahead, the Eleventh Division coming into view, "Well, almost there, at least," he called to her.

Akiyo sighed in response. "I know, I know. But still, not all of them are meatheads at least" she said followed by her chime like laugh. Excitement almost overwhelmed her as she sighted squad eleven. If she didn't love squad two she probably would've ended up in squad 11. One of the reasons she chose squad two over eleven was because she knew she'd fit in better over there. Her shunpo was perfectly cut out for it. Although she tried to use it as little as possible in a fight. She liked to show off her natural speed.

Ando nodded, as if acknowledging her statement, "Yeah, at least the captain and lieutenant are cute, that's definitely something," he said as they walked through the front gates. Most members of the Fourth division were to afraid to enter the Eleventh division, giving the bad relations between the two squads. That is part of the reason that Ando usually handled this division: he wasn't someone they could bully easily.

Akiyo scoffed slightly. "Yeah, and they're just as likely to break your face as they are to kiss you. Actually they're more likely to break your face." she said finishing with a confident nod. As far as she knew all people in squad 11 were a little crazy. It was rare for them to have a female in a position of power though, especially two. They must be insane or psychotic, hell, maybe they're masochists. Akiyo didn't know tem personally
