The skies are darkening. Evening has set...

Alexis was able to get off a few hours earlier from work that night, which was good because she was supposed to meet downtown for drinks and dancing with a few people she had recently met. Even though she was a bit tired, she told herself she was going because she had made excuses the last few times she was asked to hang out. Clocking out and going to the bathroom to change out of her work uniform, she grabbed her stuff and went out towards her car to head downtown.

Jerry was still waking as he moved around his dark empty house. Having been living in the neighborhood for only a few weeks, there was a lot he had done already. He kept to himself unless he wanted to be seen and talked when he wanted to get noticed to certain people. Walking outside slowly, gazing around at the pale blueness that was growning darker. Reaching down, he picked up a news paper, and tossed it inside carelessly. Closing the door, he walked down towards the drive way casually while observing the nearly quiet street. The occasional adult walked around and teens driving around heading to their homes. Now, he was hungry and was deciding where to go for a good meal.

It took longer to find a parking spot than it did to even drive to the area as she drove up and down different streets, having to stop for mobs of people that would decide to cross the streets at random times. Since it was night, there was a lot more people out on the streets, going to the casinos or bars. When she finally found a spot, Alexis parked and turned off her car. Grabbing her phone, she checked it to see where was supposed to meet up with them. Reading the text, she realized the place was a bit farther than she would have liked to walk, but there was no way she was giving up her parking spot to find another now after all that work. Finally getting out of the car, she shut the door and started to head down the sidewalk, following some others that were heading in the same direction.

(Got locked out of my account last night.) Gazing up, he smelt the air and closed his eyes. Perfect night to chase and hunt. Can't do that here, so he decided that the city would be an excellent place to be right now. Glancing down at himself, he figured he was alright with what he wore. Turning towards the truck, he climbed in and started to back out of the driveway, carefully looking around before driving off to the city. After speeding and an hour, Jerry reached the city. Knowing that on a night like this, he wasn't going to find a parking spot. Leaving his truck a few blocks from the strip, he walked the rest of the way. Instantly beginning his search for a good meal. Avoiding major lights and reflective windows that could possibly give him away.

(Oh damn) -Walking down the sidewalk, Alexis blended in with the crowd of people. Walking a few more blocks, she finally got to the place. Going in, there were quite a few people and Alexis pushed her way through until she found the group she was supposed to meet. She greeted them as she sat down in the booth, "Wanna go dance?" One of them asked as Alexis quickly shook her head, "No, thats ok, maybe later. I'm probably just going to go get a drink or something." She said, motioning over towards the bar. She wasn't planning on staying long, a bit tired from work.

It didn't take long to find someone worth his chasing. He watched as the small group walked into one of the nightclubs, which made him smirk. Nightclubs were too easy to catch a meal. Which was alright, he was feeling a little lazy. This made things simple. Moving inside without being seen, his eyes roamed around. Too many faces. Moving further in and weaved between people as he searched. Too many faces, looking up, Jerry jumped up and pulled himself into the bars in the ceiling, looking down as everything vibrated along to the music.

Getting up and moving towards the bar, she ordered herself something as she turned and looked towards the dance floor while she waited, smiling lightly at some of the drunken people dancing around. When her drink was ready, she paid for it and found and empty barstool, sitting there as she watched. Her friends motioned for her to come over, but she shook her head with a grin, holding up her drink to show them, not wanting to go dancing with it. Instead she stayed seated, sipping at it as she looked around.

Spotting the one he wanted, his eyes darkened and he let go of the bar, dropping into the crowd as his eyes stayed on the woman as he slowly moved towards her. Watching who she was talking to and who was with her. Seeing the group of girls she was, Jerry moved towards her. Moving into her view and slowly taking her hand, he pulled her further into the crowd. Looking back for her friends and they didn't even notice. Pulling her closer as he swayed lazily to the music as the girl stared at him with flustered cheeks. Grinning slightly as his fangs grew.

Looking around, she was starting to get a little bored. She figured she would finish her drink and then maybe join her group on the dance floor for a little while. Taking another sip, her eyes glanced back at her group, suddenly seeing another man leading one of the woman away. Alexis only knew the woman as an acquaintance, meeting her once before. Looking back at the group they were too busy dancing and drinking to even notice. Curious, she looked back and kept her eyes on both the man and woman. Getting off the barstool, she moved down the bar a little further as the two walked farther away. Sitting back down on a different stool, she wasn't sure why she was watching them, but had a feeling that she needed to keep an eye on things since no one else in the group even noticed the woman leaving.

Jerry swayed slowly and looked around again, feeling a pair of eyes. He slowly turned his head to the side, following the the feeling. Seeing a woman at the bar, between the moving heads her eyes didn't faulter. He smiled at her slowly cutting his tongue and smeared the droplets onto his lips before looking away and pressed his lips against this prey's. Moving her even further from view within an instant and stood near the back of the crowd. Pulling away, he smiled at her blank expression as she stared longingly. Carefully moving her hair out of the way, he lowered his head and bite down. Feeling her tense slightly but didn't make a sound. If the one who stared knew this girl, then he couldn't kill her. But putting her in the hospital wasn't too bad of an idea either.

Keeping watch, Alexis blinked when the man turned his head to look at her. She kept eye contact, frowning suddenly. She wasn't sure because of all the different color changing lights, but it looked like he was bleeding, at least on his mouth. Blinking again, she realized the pair was suddenly out of sight. Furrowing her brows, she stood up before climbing back onto the stool on her knees to give her a bit more height as she looked through the crowd. Scanning around, she was confused about how she could have lost them so quickly, which made things more suspicious. Finally thinking she spotted them again, she narrowed her eyes. It looked like he was kissing her neck or something, but the woman was just staring blankly. It didn't look like she was enjoying the attention, but it didn't look like she hated it either. It was like she didn't know what was happening. Looking back to the bar, Alexis motioned the bartender over, "There's a guy back there...I think he did something to the woman he's with.." She told him, thinking the man had put something in her drink. The bartender strained his eyes to look, nodding slightly as he signaled for a security guard.

Pulling his head away a few moments later after feeling hour become a weight. His head falling back as he exhaled in satisfaction. Dropping his head to lick the bleeding wound clean and closing it. Looking to the side, he caught a glimpse of security coming towards where he stood. Blinking slowly, he turned and sat the girl against the DJ booth. She was still dazed, and out of sorts. Standing up, he jumped back up to the ceiling and moved slowly towards the entrance. Gazing down to watch as the security found her and pulled her up. Grinning as he stopped and decided to watch for a moment.

Watching the security guard going over, Alexis moved back to her group to let them know what was going on. Worried, they followed after where the security guard was. Frowning when the woman was slumped a bit and the guy was gone all of a sudden. "Hey, you ok?" The guard asked her, but only got a blank stare in return. "He must've slipped her something." The guard said, trying to get a response from the woman. Alexis frowned, having thought that too, but thought about it, "His mouth was bleeding..and then he kissed her.." She mentioned, not knowing where she was going with the comment, because it didn't really make sense. "She looks like she's ill." One of the friends commented worried. Alexis looked at the woman before turning around, trying to see if she could spot the guy. One of the friends said she was going to take the woman to the hospital as the guard came over to Alexis, "If you see him again, let me know." He told her and she gave him a brief descrpition of him as well, figuring it was probably time to leave.

Watching as things unfolded, he grinned at their confusion to the situation. Shifting his grip and leaned forward, he watched the group of girls, including the one who was watching him a few minutes ago. Narrowing his black eyes as he listened to their words. Listening to the discription, it took him a moment to realize that it was his appearance that was detailed. He laughed lightly, taking that as his signal to leave. Turning around he crawled towards the entrance again and dropped down. Glancing back over his shoulder briefly then left the building as his eyes turned normal.

"Text me and let me know hows she's doing.." Alexis told the one who offered to take the woman to the hospital. Letting out a sigh, Alexis went towards the entrance to leave as well since the incident had put them all out of the mood to try and have fun. Telling the others goodbye, she made her way back down the street, heading back towards where her car was several blocks away.

Jerry walked down the sidewalk without a second thought. Feeling full and at ease as he looked around. During his time here so far, he has yet to discover what this city had to offer. As he was told many, many times, this was the city of sin. Something he was really good at. Passing by different building with their bright flashing lights, he was continuously fascinated. A quiet expression on his face as he watched who he passed. So many people, and so much to offer for food. He was getting the urge to bring someone back to his place that he could keep around for a while. Put his newly built hide away to good use.

Finally getting back to her car, she got in and tried to start it. "Are you kidding me?" She said in irritated disbelief when the engine didn't start. Trying it a few more times, she groaned, not thinking the night could get much worse as she pulled out her phone. Looking up the phone number for a tow truck, she called the place and talked to them. Declining the service after they told her how much they would charge her, she let out a frustrated sigh as she got out of the car, leaning on the door as she looked around. She would wait and see if anyone came back to their cars and then ask if they had jumper cables. If she didn't have any luck, she would give in and call back the towing campany.

Jerry continued down the street, lowering his head as he spotted the woman from the club after wandering around inside one of the buildings. He drew a breath and raised his head, figuring that there were too many out here to be noticed. A few more blocks and he would reach his truck. His plan was to get home and get back to scoping out the neighborhood and find potential people he could bring into his world. Feeling eyes again, he huffed faintly, but kept moving. Guess there wasn't enough people to stay undetected.

Looking around, she was starting to get discouraged that anyone was going to come back to their cars right now since the night was still pretty early. About to call back the towing company, she stopped when she spotted the man from the club. Narrowing her eyes, she debated with herself before figuring there was enough people out that she could confront him and he couldn't really do anything to her. Moving away from her car, she quickly followed after, "Hey!" She called out to him as she followed behind, trying to catch up. "What the hell did you do?" She demanded as she came up behind him and moved past to stand front of him to block him.

Hearing the woman calling after him, he smiled and laughed lightly. Placing a calm but confused expression on his face as she suddenly stood in front of him. Raising a brow at her accusing stare, Jerry smiled kindly as he stopped walking. "Hm? I'm not sure what you mean.. Sorry.." He stated in a tone that was believable, giving a small shake of his head and a shrug. "Do I know you?" He asked her slowly, giving a small frown then his expression blanked again.

Eyeing him skeptically, she started second guessing herself as he spoke, seeming to be genuinly confused about what she was talking about. "You were...The club, that was you." She said, although her tone was unsure because the more she thought about it, the more she realized she could be easily mistaken him because of how dark it had been in the nightclub. Starting to feel a bit embarassed, she sighed, "Or...I don't know, sorry.." She muttered, getting a little confused and doubtful.

Jerry blinked at her and his grin slowly turned into an amused smile. "I haven't been to any clubs yet.. This is my first time here.. Wandering around." He said, clarifying that she was accusing him of the wrong thing. He frowned for a moment then faked concern. "That's fine.. It happens. Are you.. alright?" He asked, sounding a bit awkward before looking around then back to her. Not surprised at how easily she was fooled.

She quickly broke eye contact, looking down briefly as she felt her face flush a bit in embarassment as he explained himself. The guy probably thought she was a nutcase or something. "Sorry.." She said again with an apologetic look when he explained he was just wandering around."Oh, yeah..I'm fine.." She said before looking behind him briefly towards the parking lot where her car was, not knowing if she should bug him anymore or not. "Umm...do you have any jumper cables?" She asked suddenly, figuring since he was here, she might as well ask.

Glancing at her car then to her, he blinked and nodded slowly. "Yeah.. I do. Though.. I'm not parked anywhere near here.." He said and looked to the side. Seeing a couple walking with the crowd and getting closer. He looked away quickly seeing a large cross the the girl's shirt. "Just.. If you.. Don't mind waiting a few minutes.. I can come back and give you a jump." He said and glanced to the side and looked away quickly then gave her a small questioning glance.

She watched him curiosly as he kept looking away and back again, not knowing if something had caught his eye, or if he was nervous, or if maybe he was just on drugs. Inwardly smirking, she didn't think that was the case as she glanced briefly to where he had been looking but didn't see anything interesting except people walking. Shrugging it off as thinking that maybe he knew one of them or something, she didn't question it since he was agreeing to help. "No, that's not a problem. I can wait." She said, a bit of relief in her voice that she had found someone and she could then get back home soon. "Thanks."

Nodding he started turning away, giving her a pleasent smile. Pausing he shrugged and chuckled. "No problem. Watch for a big dark truck." He said then smirked as he turned and started walking down the street. The smile faded and he sighed. After a few meters, Jerry glanced back and saw she was looking the other way. Turning he picked up his pace and went towards his truck in a few seconds. The sooner to get this done, the better. Seeing someone standing by his truck, he frown and waltzed over casually as he glared. The person turned then started running. He walked up to the door and unlocked it, climbing in with a bored expression. Starting the engine then started to drive towards the strip.

When he started to walk off, Alexis turned in the opposite direction and headed back to her car. Although she could have sworn that was the same guy from the club, he seemed genuinly convinced he didn't know what she was talking about, and besides, if it meant she wasn't going to have to pay some ridiculous price for a tow truck, then she wasn't going to press the issue with this guy. Not waiting as long as she thought she would until she saw a large truck that she assumed was his. She moved to the front of her car and popped the hood open as she waited.

Pulling up beside her, he parked and climbed out pausing to put the hazard lights on. Going to the bed, he climbed in and opened a conpartment and dug around for the cables and went to the front. He gave her a small smile and connected the cables. "Try to start the engine.." He said and glanced at her.

Watching him for a moment, she nodded and got into the driver's seat of her car. Putting the key in, she tried it once, then twice before it finally started. Grinning, she kept it running as she got out, "Success." She laughed as she looked at him, "Thanks again." She told him, really glad this had been easier than she thought. "If I run into you again sometime, I'll get you a drink or something." She told him with a smile, figuring she probably wouldn't ever see him again in a city like this, but she also wanted to head home rather than go back to the bars right now.
