Valhallan Rose

So you've claimed your role, now what? You come here! Now that you have a role you have complete control over your character's design within their sphere. What I mean by that is Khione can screw around with snow, but don't go giving her fire manipulation all of a sudden. That's not within her sphere.

In short, the sphere is what directly relates to that god or goddess is in control of.

Role: (Which God or Goddess you're using for this character)

Name: (not at all required to use the name of the role)

Gender: (Male or Female)

Sexuality: (if applicable)

Personality: (A few lines is fine, at least three sentences I think.)

Appearance: (make this at least five sentences, please. Don't just use an image link.)

History: (We know the myths, for the most part, but how else did they get to be who they are? Have some fun with it if you want I won't set a requirement of length for this one.)

Powers/Abilities (if any): (can they control or manipulate anything? Can they shapeshift? You tell me, but relate it to their domain of power/role as much as possible. Or, alternatively, relate it to what their parents can do on a minor scale. Ex...Zeus can change his ape, can his children do that in any form?)

Limitations to Powers/Abilities: (shocking, I know, limitations on gods.)

Other:

Mortal Template

Here you can make your average townsfolk, if you're not feeling the gods and goddesses.

Valhallan Rose

Role: Persephone, also known as Kore.

Name: Lena

Gender: Female

Sexuality: Straight

Personality: She is the embodiment of kind, trying her best to see the good in people and the world around her. She doesn't get angry easily and she won't hesitate to lend a hand if someone needs it, but be warned, she's not a pushover. She also doesn't mind getting dirty, actually almost loves it, just because of all the time she spent with her mother (Demeter, Goddess of the harvest). She also loves exploring and is very curious.

Appearance: Lena is petite, standing just under 5'2" in height. She has a slightly curvy frame and doe-like green eyes, the most striking feature about her face. She has a button nose, small but full lips, and her skin has a soft tan to it constantly. Lena's hair is strawberry blonde and slightly curly, but still smooth to the touch, and freckles are spattered across her body. Her clothing style always changes, but generally she wears a soft peach or light gray chiton - a common clothing style of Ancient Greece, but hers are always muddy and she's barefoot basically all the time.

She also has a habit of cutting the hems to her knees or cutting slits in the sides of her chiton so she can move more freely through the woods - something that admittedly is further fueled by how much it scandalizes her mother.

History: Lena is fairly young in comparison to most of the other children of the gods, only born within the last century. Her mother, wary and very protective, took her newborn daughter to a secluded area of Mount Olympus to raise her. However, their time was split between Olympus and the mortal world almost as soon as she could walk, simply due to the fact of her mother's title as harvest goddess. Lena's first memories are of a wheat field, the golden crop practically gleaming under the light of the sun and captivating the child's attention quite thoroughly.

Despite knowing that her mother earns well, Lena tires of the constant attention and protection and seeks companionship in at least a friend. She is well aware that her mother has turned away possible suitors, such as Hermes and Apollo, and while she does seek companionship she is happy to have her freedom still. She is becoming somewhat rebellious in her actions, however minimally, in hopes that she can eventually push for a little liberty.

Powers/Abilities (if any):

Shapeshifting: Limited only to the form of a doe. The ability was inherited from her father, and fairly self explanatory.

A Hand in Spring: She, as the newly instated Goddess of Spring, assists her mother in the change of the season and the bringing of new life. This involves the growth and manipulation of plant life, from the smallest blade of grass to the tallest oak tree. However, she favors the beauty of flowers over all else.

Reversion - Unknown Cause: Admittedly...not one of her proudest abilities, if you can call it that. When under immense stress, Lena's powers have a near reversal effect and kills any plant life within a ten foot radius. This is followed with an immediate collapse and she's generally unconscious after such an episode, so she tries to keep herself under control. While uncertain of the cause, her mother has spoken to other gods on her behalf and they believe it is her own body trying to preserve itself. However, this is only a theory.

Limitations to Powers/Abilities: I feel like I explained her limitations above...but if I need to clarify for somebody, why not. It's not like she has much going on for a while.

Other: Asphodel and lilies tend to grow wherever she's been, and the land around her flourishes under her influence. She is the Spring, bright and new as the days pass on.

A Composer of Dreams

Role: Hades, God of the Underworld

Name: Ale, The Defender of Man, The Judge of Man

Gender: Male

Sexuality: Straight

Personality: Weighed down by responsibility, for while the other gods roam free above he has to watch from afar as the world is essentially their sandbox. With him being the one to deal with the consequences of their actions as men and women live, die, then come to him to tell of whether the Gods were cruel or kind to each individual person. Their lives written in Book of Life that Ale and those given charge to judge man so meticulously keep. He has a keen interest in humanity, and does not look kindly upon how some gods look upon humanity as their playthings. Though rarely able to come to their aid, he is called The Defender of Man because of his love and admiration for Mankind.

Appearance: A lithe and pale man, pale as if the sun has forgotten how to warm the skin, lips, and soul. Clothed in black armor free of detail or embellish (usually) that seems to devour the light around him, the helm that is only worn in battle is that of a ravenous dragon. Eyes like deep pools of silver and hair that is short and steel gray. The light around him seems to avoid contact with the god, as a deep overcast follows wherever he goes, leaving the lands around the entrance to the underworld choked by a perpetual overcast. His form glows not with heavenly or divine light, but instead seems to blur whenever he's not in direct focus when observed. And his height is that of a man, not a god, making him quite short compared to the majority of other gods within the world

History: It is unknown when Ale came to be, nor is it known when he rose as the God of the Underworld. Tales told between the Gods say he has always been so long as there has been life in the world, and will continue to be until the end of life itself. However this is not entirely true. Ale is a God true, but one of the few that know of the fates of Gods that came before them. For all must die in the end, even he. No... He is not the first of the Gods, nor is he the last. He was, and is, and shall be Death. The Final Judge of Man and God for this time, in this place, in this era. For him there is no history to be told, no history to be known for it matters not. He Is, and that is all that matters until the era ends. The entrance to his realm lies on Nekrotafeio, and isle in the southern seas where the souls of the dead are allowed to move upon freely in order to interact with their loved onces should they be brave enough to attempt it's shores.

Powers/Abilities:

The Reaper's Blade- A large battle scythe strapped to the god's back, said to howl with the icy winds of the far north and crafted before the age of the gods. The blade is like midnight, filled with specks of light that look like stars. When swung it leaves a lingering swath of night in the air around him that pulsates with dark power as both God and Man that touch the dark mass are burned by it's touch. The blade itself has an edge that no armor known to God or Man can defend against. It is a weapon that denies the God's ultimate power, as it is one of the few weapons on earth that can bring them to a swift end. The weapon can only be lifted by The God of the Underworld, not because of it's heft, but because of it's purpose as it will reject the touch of any who are not given the responsibilities that Ale has taken upon himself.

Hollow's Embrace- The armor Ale is clad in is made from the forges of the Underworld, from metal no mortal hand nor god above can reach. Said to come from the core of the planet, it is resistant to all but the mightiest of blows. Armor fit for the God of The Underworld, it is semi-conscious and knows it's Master's touch and will not allow itself to be worn by anyone but him alone.

The Book of Life- A tomb infinite in capacity, as the words, deeds, and thoughts of man are written upon its pages. It known not the pen or quill as the words are written by the observations of Ale and his servants who diligently record all the doings upon the mortal realm. Even those of the Gods.

Diminishing Aura- Just being in his presences diminishes the power of gods that do not have to do directly with the creation and sustaining of life upon the mortal realm. All other gods find their divine light and power diminished, as if Ale were the antithesis of their existence.

Limitations:Ale cannot leave the bound of his realm unless accompanied by a lesser or greater god. The bounds of his influence is bound to Nekrotafeio itself in the end. Gods of Fertility, flowers, plant life, animal life, and birth are not affected by his Aura and are not diminished. While gods of light and the sun will slowly burn away Ale's skin as his body cannot sustain itself when in direct sunlight. He is also a God of Death, he cannot heal or sustain life, only end it.

Divine Angle

Role: Thanatos, God of Death

Name: Thanatos, Death, Grim Reaper, Lord of the Grim Harvest, Shatterer of Worlds, Ashen Rider, The First and the Last. He knows many names, but Thanatos is what he began with.

Gender: Male

Sexuality: Hetero

Personality: A deity who takes little joy from his duties, he has long ago hardened his heart to pity for mankind. He performs his task simply, reaping the souls of the dead, and taking them on their way. He has done all he could in the past to distance himself from other Gods, to maintain his pitiless attitude as well as possible. There are few beings in creation he opens himself to, and among them, his brother Hypnos has the highest standing.

Appearance: To most, Thanatos appears as the very visage of Death Itself. A skeletal form that stands over any mortal he walks with, with robes so black to appear as if the night itself covered him. Shadows and smoke trail where he walks, and the dark hides him from mortals who are yet to meet with Death.

To few, Thanatos appears with far more of a living visage. His build tall and muscular, his skin pale, his hair black and his eyes emerald. In this visage, Thanatos wears clothing of black and gold, to in a way be sure to mourn every death he handles, yet maintain that he is above it and without pity. Should he ever armor himself, the armaments are simple in appearance, taking on only a hue of silver. His sword is always at his side, and his amulet around his neck.

History: Born as one of the sons of Nyx, the Night, and Erebus, the Darkness, Thanatos was born the embodiment of Death. He was charged with governing the realms of death, and so he did. He was one of the first beings to exist, and thus saw the creation and rise of every living being after him. In his early years, as he saw certain animals come to be, he befriended and cared for the first of them, and his friendship to these creatures was never forgotten, as all of them to this day remember and aid the God of Death.

Before too long, he saw the fall of the Titans, and the eventual rise of Olympus. With the rise of the Olympians came the eventual beginning of Man, and thus came Thanatos' greatest, and most dreaded, duty. Man was different from all other mortal things in creation. They were not unlike the Gods in image, and in mind, but they still died. As his domain was Death, it was left to Thanatos to take the immortal souls of mankind, the thing that made them so like the Gods, and ensure they reached the realm of the dead as befit each and every one. At first, he was prepared easily for this duty, and in those primal, early days, he spent a lot of time hidden amongst men, watching them, and trying to help them where he was allowed.

The day eventually came where the first human was to die, and Thanatos went to reap his soul. It was that day that his perspective changed. Watching the man's final moments was difficult. Listening to him plead, and beg, to no one, was difficult. Having known the man, and watching his life end like this, was nearly impossible to do. As his last breaths passed, Thanatos took his soul from his body, and escorted him to the River Styx. After this, only more and more died, and it only became more and more difficult.

Thanatos had been left a lot in creation that, at the time, felt impossible to him. It was almost without warning that every day, he was taking more and more to the afterlife. He watched with pained eyes as each suffered in their final moments, as his pity almost tore the God apart.

One day, he stopped spending such leisurely time amongst humans. It became far too difficult to do, knowing they would all die.

Another day, he stopped appearing to them in such a familiar visage to the dying. He began to take the form of a skeletal vision of death, and in this way detached himself from those he reaped in their final moments.

Yet another day, he finally stopped comparing himself, and other Gods, to humans. He thought less of them. As the time passed, his pity for mankind grew less and less, until he had hardened himself to the whole process.

He began enlisting the aid of various psychopomps to ease the process of transporting the dead to the River, as the number of those dying grew ever higher. He had lost all of his pity by a necessity, but he couldn't avoid a connection he still felt to everyone that died. In their final moments, as they passed, he came to know more about every mortal than their families and friends ever did. A care still remained in his heart for them, but his pity was all but gone. However, one day, the Grim Reaper came to harvest the soul of a clever man, although his circumstances of dying impaled on a stalagmite in a cavern didn't give that impression. The man spent a long time waxing on to Thanatos, doing all he could to appeal to him, and eventually, the God gave in. He granted him a final request, and the mortal requested but one day to visit with his family. Thanatos granted him this, carrying him from where he was to die, and leaving him at his home.

When Thanatos came to collect, he wasn't there. Death spent three days searching, until he finally found the man collapsed from his wounds. Enraged that the human had used him, and attempted to cheat him so, Thanatos took the man's soul, but did not take him to the River Styx. He took an amulet, and trapped the man's soul within it, forever damning him to Death's service.

Since that day, Thanatos pushed all care for mankind from his being. He would not be fooled again. He still humored few mortals pleas, deals and bargains, but simply began to make it impossible to pay the Death God back, and additionally ensure that he would never lose track of anyone that tried to cheat him. All who foolishly made bargains, and all who tried to cheat him, were damned to his amulet.

Powers/Abilities (if any): Thanatos' primary domain is over Death, and he is absolute in his command of this sphere, few others holding similar authority in that to his own. It is he and his servants who carries out the process of ensuring every death, and the collection of every soul, passes as it should. It is Thanatos who decides if a mortal is spared this passing, and with his pitiless view, this is hardly to ever happen. In addition to this dominion, Thanatos has several other notable powers/abilities.

Death's Blade: Thanatos' primary weapon, the sword that is always at his side. It was made from the fragments of fallen worlds that came together within the collapsing nothing of Chaos, forged fully into a blade by Thanatos and taken from the void as his weapon. The blade is unbreakable, and able to harm Gods and mortals alike. Mortal made armaments and weapons break beneath it with ease, and wounds struck with it grow fatal quickly. (Not fatal to immortals, obviously.)

Amulet of Death/The Undying Legion: Thanatos' Amulet holds within it 139 souls, each the soul of a mortal that dealed with Death and lost, attempted to cheat him and failed, or swore to him before all other Gods. The souls belong to and are damned into Thanatos' service eternally, and serve him upon summoning from the amulet. When summoned, they are given undead bodies to serve their master in. Their form is always molded by Thanatos in the moment to suit whatever he may need of them, but a few of the souls are allowed to maintain a static form that is always used on summoning, for one reason or another.

Harbingers of Death: Thanatos can summon, and command, varying animals connected to death, and use them at times to act as psychopomps, escorting souls to the afterlife after being reaped. This is primarily extended to crows and moths, although vultures are used occasionally, and few other animals may be beckoned to his aid.

Apelpesia: Thanatos' eternal steed, that came into being shortly after Death began his work, the horse becoming an embodiment of the despair that followed the God. Apelpesia can be summoned and dismissed by Thanatos at any time, appearing or vanishing in green light, and having the form of a skeletal horse proliferated by shadows. There is no land in the Mortal realm that Apelpesia cannot traverse, and the steed can travel most land in the Chthonian and Olympian realms, with few exceptions.

Limitations to Powers/Abilities: Death's Blade is not fatal to deities, obviously, due to deities being undying in their own right. It is powerful, and as a God's weapon rightly so, but this only allows him to contend with other deities should the need arise. There are plainly deities with better combat ability than Thanatos.

The Amulet can only hold souls who, in some way, owe Thanatos more than they could repay. Usually, this occurs through any previously stated means of deals being made foolishly, an attempted cheating of Death, or someone giving themselves in service to him from the get go. The Legion the Amulet holds and can summon is, no matter any forms he gives them, and in spite of the undying bit, still humans. Undead, yes, and given advantages, yes, but nothing that makes them any kind of significant threat to most deities without Thanatos' aid.

The Harbingers are limited in use, and usually limited in numbers that can be summoned. Their best use for Thanatos' is as psychopomps, secondary uses being either limited by situation, or just entirely not useful.

Apelpesia will vanish for a set amount of time if a significant amount of harm is done to the creature. Apelpesia further cannot travel within certain parts of the Underworld, and Mount Olympus.

Other: I might add small bits of story stuff for some specific souls in the Amulet at some point for fun, but yeah.

Thanatos never did use a scythe in Greek mythos, and his equivalent in Rome never did either. He only ever had a sword as his weapon. So, that's neat.

If anything needs to be changed or altered, will be happy to do so. =)

Divine Angle

Role: Chaos/Khaos, the nothingness from which all else sprang forth.

Name: Khaos, Entropy, The Void

Gender: Usually appears male, but can appear in almost any form he desires, so he has little limitation here.

Sexuality: Whatever fits his current whim.

Personality: A being with both care and interest in everything going on, while caring not at all for anything that occurs. He acts in whatever way befits his current mood and whimsy, having little desire to maintain orderly conduct, or order in general anywhere in the world. He's rather nosy, doing all he can to gain as much information as he can hold, and will proceed to use any such information as he can, or simply forget it altogether. Past such inability to care, and how he lets whim decide his actions, he's incredibly full of himself. All of creation came to be from him, after all, he thinks that something he should be allowed to lord over everyone whenever he feels.

Appearance: Khaos' true appearance is practically unfathomable to most Gods aside from the Primordials most closely connected to him, and even they avoid his original visage due to growing apart from it. Mortals cannot begin to comprehend the reality of what Khaos is, let alone a form. To attempt to put it to words, and likely do shame to it, Khaos is a great, ever expanding and receding expanse of both nothing, and all of creation that was and is to be. At the same time, he is almost a countless number of other things along with being this grand Void, so many eldritch forms and horrors taking the same space at once.

This is, obviously, a form that does not, and also cannot, traverse the Earth. Due to means unknown, or possibly due to the Earth simply being unable to hold Khaos itself within it, his true form cannot be on the Earth or the Underworld. There are few divine locations, such as Mount Olympus, and the once-home of the Titans, Mount Othrys, where parts of Khaos could manifest directly. As much still takes massive effort on Khaos' part. Instead of only interacting through such means, Khaos creates for itself an Avatar, a body that acts as his direct contact and self into the Earthen realms.

His Avatar can take almost countless forms due to Khaos' power, but he does have a form that in recent time has been returned to and re-used enough to be considered semi-static. It is the form of a slender man, with what is average height among the Gods. The form holds a tanned complexion, brown hair and blue eyes. It often wears the purest of white robes and clothing. It is a form that he has re-used, but again, due to his powers, Khaos often takes whatever form he fancies in a given moment.

History: There is so little to say of Khaos, and at the same time, so much. He has seen countless worlds before come into being, and collapse back into his expanse, before this Earthen realm. He knows nearly infinite stories of infinite lives, although the events thus far of the Earthen realm, and the stories that may come of it yet, interest Khaos in a way few worlds do. In this world particularly, he chose to begin manifesting through an Avatar to interact with. It was something he had done for other worlds before it, but it was exceedingly rare.

From both his seat as the Void that watches all, and from his Avatar that watched directly from the Earth, he saw his first Children of the Earth, the Primordials, rise to be, and from them, the Titans. From the Titans, the Olympians began to rise, but were stopped by their cruelest of forefathers. The King of the Titans attempted to prevent the Olympians' rise, but failed still, his children too powerful to contain. From this, the Olympians battle the Titans, and overthrew them, taking the Earthen realms as their own.

Khaos watched all that passed with utmost intrigue, and especially watched the actions of individual beings, and many smaller scale events. Earth proved, easily, to be a realm of utmost interest to him, and he became more and more glad to begin throwing his hand into the mix, bringing all the madness he could.

Powers/Abilities (if any): Khaos manifests on the Earth as an Avatar of the Void from which creation sprang forth, and thus, has access to a wide array of powers and capabilities. Among these, some of the noteworthy ones include the following:

Avatar of Khaos: Something plainly obvious, Khaos can manifest an Avatar to embody himself through on Earth. The Avatar takes whatever form Khaos wants it to, and he can change its form easily enough at will (To be explained more below). The Avatar is essentially Khaos taking the form of a God, and holds the benefits of Divinity. However, its more malleable existence makes it possible to destroy the Avatar. Khaos himself cannot die, so the destruction of an Avatar is easy enough to replace. The malleable existence of the Avatar further lets Khaos disassemble, and then reassemble, it almost anywhere he so chooses to.

Shapeshifting: Perhaps not the greatest power of Khaos, and certainly not the strongest, but the one he displays the most through his Avatar. He can shapeshift into almost infinite forms, and while he holds some limitations concerning imitating certain beings in the Earthen realms, Khaos could become anything he wants on a whim.

Escalating Entropy: The presence of Khaos' Avatar causes an ever escalating level of disorder in the area around him. The longer he is within an area, the greater the chaos within that area, and the more and more freedom he gains to do as he pleases in that area, within limitations. Once he's been somewhere long enough, he can begin altering reality around himself, although this doesn't extend to Gods, and human mortals within the Earthen realms. (To be clear, he can't manipulate the reality that is their existence and change it.) As entropy further escalates, he gains more and more freedom with his shapeshifting, and with most of his powers in general. This effect isn't hindered by the powers of other Gods, but cannot hinder or alter the powers other Gods.

Shattered Remnants: Khaos can manifest the shattered remnants of countless worlds before, and use what he pulls to his Avatar for a variety of uses. The remnants can be employed in creating weapons or attacks for Khaos to employ, to name a specific use, but he can do quite a bit more than just that with them. He cannot manifest the remnants of life from the Void, however, as there is no life to pull from it, and his Avatar has no such authority in the Earthen realms.

Limitations to Powers/Abilities: Khaos requires several hours to manifest an Avatar, so the destruction of one cuts off his influence on the Earthen realms for at least a time. Khaos' Avatar can never be capable of holding, or showing, the full power of the true Khaos, although such is an unavoidable consequence of having to use a limited form to interact with the world.

Khaos cannot shapeshift into perfect replicas of any of the other Gods, preventing him from masquerading as them usually, unless he's been somewhere obscenely long enough that the amount of entropy within an area gives him the freedom to do so.

On leaving an area, the amount of chaos in that area de-escalates at the same rate it escalated at. The level of entropy within an area can never be so high that he can manipulate the reality of a God's existence, or the reality of a Human's existence. (This isn't to say he's unable to attempt to harm them, or just mess with them, but he cannot directly alter them.)

Khaos can only bring forth an amount of shattered remnants to the world based on the level of entropy within an area. On moving too far from any of his remnants, they are returned to the Void from whence they came.

Other: Kind of doing some weird stuff with Khaos, hope it's kosher though. =P

Also typing out his sheet has me accidentally capitalizing 'K' all over the place, hopefully I didn't miss a random silly k somewhere or something.

Jacky the Serket

((I...hope this is fine. I was under the impression that you could take liberties with all this so...I'm doing that. Hope this is alright))

Role: Aether

Name: Tearwi

Gender: Male

Sexuality: Bisexual. A god must have a wide array of lovers.

Personality: By default, Tearwi resembles the upper air. The air that all the gods breath, and because he resembles air, he can be pretty different from time to time. Sometimes you will find him having his head in the clouds. Figuratively, of course. He'd be all over the place and disorganized. He won't be able to pay attention to you or anything else around him, and he'll go from one topic to another in a matter of seconds, mind never able to stay on one thing for more than a few moments. During this time he's also a much more...loving person. He'll give you attention if you happen to catch his eye. He can be very loving, if you catch him at the right moment.

The other side of his personality is a more serious side of him. He is important to the gods, after all. He is the air they breath. He has to be important. In this side of him, he can focus much more on these tasks and will often not stray from the tasks at hand. He also becomes a lot more...non nonsense. He won't be cracking jokes or laughing anytime soon. In this phase he's a lot more cold and somewhat intimidating.

Appearance: The god's most used form is a tall, standing at exactly six feet tall, and while he doesn't look tanned, he's not pale either. His hair is light brown and usually rather messy looking. He doesn't keep good track of his hair most of the time. On the god's back are two wings, as dark as the night sky with little dots resembling stars. The wings are long. Each of them are about half the length of his body, so three feet. It makes it hard to get through doorways, which is why he can make them disappear at will.

History: When the world was first starting out, there was practically nothing, correct? Well, there were objects, actually. Colliding with each other in the chaotic beginning of the world, these collisions made sparks. These sparks, eventually, formed Tearwi. He is one of the first gods to be formed, and when he appeared he gave breath to the gods. Throughout his existence, he never interacted with many people, but now he seems to be opening up and talking to others.

Powers/Abilities (if any): Tearwi represents upper atmosphere, so...his powers mostly revolve around wind. He can make strong, freezing that's if wind whenever he desires, and if he wants, can also make things float into the sky. He can make stars and turn objects and sometimes even people into constellations.

Limitations to Powers/Abilities: Um...well, if an object is too heavy, he won't be able to lift it up. He also can't turn everything into constellations. They have to either be dead or inanimate. He can't turn his enemies into burning balls of gas unfortunately. Oh, and the stars he makes don't last long either.

Phyllis Joy Wolfe

Role: Ate - goddess of mischief

Name: Tixiri

Gender: Female

Sexuality: Straight, though she'll flirt with anyone for a laugh

Personality: Tixiri is the offspring of the god of wine, celebrations, ecstasy, and theater, and the goddess of Strife, and boy does it show. Not the wine so much, but she enjoys causing mischief, is fairly indulgent, and she is quite the actress, which doesn't help. She is also, I'm sad to say, a bit of a troll. She really likes to prank people and revels in the look on people's faces when they are utterly furious. She is also a total flirt, though it's mostly insincere.

Appearance: Tixiri is petite with fiery red hair and emerald green eyes. She is fair skinned, and curvaceous. Her lips are a deep red with a significant pout and have the default setting of a knowing smirk. Due to her mischevious nature, her outfit largely depends on her purpose. The default, however, is a simple white toga.

History: "Well, that is the last time I get involved in a marital dispute!"

I won't name any names, seeing as I prefer to preserve my mortal life, but Tixiri got herself in the middle of a bit of a tiff between a couple of deities. She wound up tricking the one for the benefit of the other (and her own personal amusement) and now she has been banished from Olympus! She spends most of her days trolling people in the mortal realm, and the occasional god who crosses her path while making a visit. She also likes to visit her Uncle Ale, mostly just to annoy him.

"Swear it... that's the last time... oh, who am I kidding? DID YOU SEE HIS FACE?!"

Powers/Abilities: Tixiri is incredibly cunning, and can lie her way out of just about anything. She is also able to create illusions to help in fooling others and an ability to change things on a minor scale for added mischief. For example, you might have a bit more trouble rolling that wagon now that it has square wheels. She also possesses the ability to levitate herself and objects around her, which she mostly just does to screw with people. Finally, she has the ability to cast an illusion on herself so that she appears to be whatever she chooses.

Limitations to Powers/Abilities: Lies have to be sensible to work. She can't say she didn't take a piece of cake when someone actually saw her take it, but she could come up with a lie explaining why she took it.

Illusions do not directly affect reality. She cannot make someone feel hot or cold, only make them see things differently than they are. Illusions begin to deteriorate when someone realizes that what they are seeing is an illusion.

Her ability to alter things does not cross over into other god's territory. She cannot change the tides, or affect the weather for example.

Levitation goes to about ten feet off the ground, and no higher.

Role: Clio - goddess of History (and storytelling)

Name: Saga

Gender: Female

Sexuality: Straight

Personality: Saga is generally fairly bright and cheery. She loves stories of all kinds, and therefore prefers the company of mortals who are far more likely to tell and create them. She is also a very good storyteller, and occasionally visits those who don't get out much (such as Uncle Prometheus and Uncle Atlas) to fill their day with at least some bit of enjoyment. Unfortunately, she also has a tendency to often not be on call as, in spite of their disbelief in her, she also likes to visit other parts of the world to hear their stories. She is also likely to pester people who others consider "bad" due to her belief that anyone who has a story can change its direction.

Appearance: Saga is a bit on the tall side, with long brown hair and hazel eyes. She is fair skinned with freckles dotting her nose and cheeks. Due to her tendency to spend most of her time among mortals, she generally just wears whatever seems to be in fashion at the time, but in a lavender color that makes her fairly conspicuous, all things considered. She is almost always wearing a sunny smile on her face.

History: Saga is the offspring of the Ruler of Olympus, and one of the few Titans still revered by humanity. That being said, she is far more likely to be around her sister muses than her parents. After all, Daddy is often very busy, and Mummy has her own troubles. She adores her sisters though and, more often than not tries to rope them into collaborating something with her. She also enjoys being around Lena as she is always so full of sunshine!

Powers/Abilities: From her father, Saga gains the ability to turn into a fox. She's gotten a bit of a kick out of doing the transformation only halfway on visits to Asian countries. When telling a story, she is able to create illusions that make it seem to come to life. These illusions can make the listener feel hot or cold to enhance the story. She also possesses a teleportation ability that is fairly handy when she wants to travel long distances.

Limitations to Powers/Abilities: She can only turn into a fox, the illusions cannot alter reality. For example, she cannot actually freeze or burn a person, only make them feel cold or warm. The illusions are just that. Illusions. She also cannot teleport between the realms, only within them, and teleportation in the Underworld is impossible.

Role: Zeus

Name: Metaniono

Gender: Male

Sexuality: Straight

Personality: Metaniono, or Meta for short, only allows himself to be called as such when serious matters are at hand. Meta is a loving father who absolutely adores his children, and dotes upon all of them. However, he has an abundant amount of them as he is an uncontrollable womanizer. Yet, this desire is not sexual for the most part. Instead, it is his desire for love. After what he did to his first wife, Metis, a hole in his heart has formed, which he seeks to fill with quantity rather than quality of love. His one true love thus far is Metis, but he harbors some feelings for his other wives, Thetis, Demeter, and Hera. Yet, them and the voice of Metis were not enough to soothe his heart, and thus he seeks love from all beautiful women, or rather, women who share some traits that Metis had. He realizes that he is a terrible husband, but he bears the title out of shame with full knowledge of his faults. After all, he can't exactly free Metis, he can't just divorce his other wives for Hera, free Persephone, kill Poseidon, or anything of the sort. There are so many things that he believes that he should be doing for his family, but he can't due to his position, and thus he wears his shame as an emblem. Out of all his kids, Athena is his favorite, and he hopes of one day becoming a perfect ruler who can bring back the Golden Age. Unfortunately, his inability to do so has driven Zeus to a crippling sense of self-doubt, to the point where he harbors suicidal desires and longs for the day that Gaia's prophecy is invoked and one of his sons finally manages to kill him and take his place on the throne. Til then, he rules with justice, fairness, and love.

Appearance: Meta is a tall blond man with a very short beard and long curled hair. He stands at around 6 ft and 4 inches, while having a very fit physique. With lightly tanned skin and roguish looks, he bears an attractive appearance that he makes full use of in order to seduce the women that he is infamous for doing so. However, at the same time, his appearance is somewhat generic, which he makes up for with his silver tongue. He dresses in a simple white toga with a red drape, although the drape goes over his right shoulder rather than the left. However, he owns a tunic that says "Best Dad In The Sky" on the front and "Best Dad Under The Sky" on the back, which he wears under his toga.

History: At first, Meta was a loving soul that wanted nothing more than to free his siblings. As such, he had endured all that Chronos threw at him, hoping for a day when everyone could be happy. When he had triumphantly defeated Chronus alongside his brothers and sisters, he rejoiced. No longer would they be oppressed! They were free! Yet, no issues could be solved easily. He had accomplished as the prophecy had stated. As Chronus' child, Zeus overthrew his father and took his place. Being who he was, Chronus couldn't accept this, and refused to stop his attempts to reclaim the throne. This sparked fear in Zeus. What happens if Chronus decided to harm Zeus's siblings? Worse than that, what if Chronus attacked Metis, Zeus's beloved wife? As such, Zeus had no choice but to throw his own father into Tartarus, in order to protect the remainders of his family.

Unfortunately, many Titans would not accept the status quo either. They loved Chronus, for his time of ruling was the Greek Golden Age. A time of peace and prosperity! Most if not all people died peacefully, while everyone managed to live to a very long age. Even then, they retained their youthful appearance. Nobody had to work to feed themselves. Oh, happy days! Why did they have to end? To the Titans, it was because Zeus and his siblings had overthrown Chronus. As such, many of them became the enemies of the Olympian gods. Once more, Zeus grew afraid. To protect his siblings and wife, he threw them into Tartarus, leaving behind only those who he knew he could trust.

This, in turn, caused his grandmother Gaia to scorn him. She cursed him, or rather, his beloved wife Metis.

"For committing the same crime as thy father before thee, a prophecy has been woven into the fates. If thou hast offspring with thy wife, two powerful children will be born. At first, it shall be a daughter of great strength. The second, a son who shall slay his father Zeus."

In his panic, he had done the unthinkable: he tricked Metis into turning into a fly, before he swallowed her whole and trapped her in his godly mind.

Only then did he realize what he had done. Metis, his lovely Metis! For what, his throne? His life? Zeus was just as bad as Chronus. He could have refused to have children. There were several options he could have taken instead of what he did. He could have committed himself to eternal chastity from that point on. He could have taken precautions to endure that he would never have any children after the first daughter. Yet, he had done something terrible to someone he loved.

Metis, however, being the wise being that she was, attempted to soothe him and convince him that everything was alright and that she forgave him. He put up a happy front, but he was forever haunted by what he did. As such, he decided to devote himself to making the world greater and to make it so that his siblings and their children would be happy.

As he lived his life, however, he grew increasingly depressed. His guilt grew exponentially as each day passed, and it didn't help that life under his rule was apparently not meeting up to the paradise that it was under Chronus' rule. So not only did he commit the same atrocities as his father, but Zeus was also not nearly as good of a ruler as Chronus was. Why? What could he do to fix his wrongs?

He decided that he needed another consultant. Metis, trapped in his mind forever, was good, but she was far too much of a gentle soul. He needed someone stricter. Who could fill that slot, however?

Themis.

Themis, the Titan goddess of divine law. She was one who could be strict enough to give him the guidance he needed. She was possibly the greatest reason why the Chronus ruled so wisely in the Golden Age. He approached her to become his counselor, and in order to secure her position, he regretfully accepted her as his second wife.

She was not enough.

With the guidance of Themis and Metis, life for the Olympians and humans became great. Yet, it was not perfect. The prosperity of the times were less than that of the Golden Age. Despite his hard work to help the world, Zeus once more proved to be a ruler less capable than his father.

He had had enough.

Zeus was a fine ruler in the eyes of the masses, but Zeus believed himself to be a failure. There was one way to overcome this issue: for him to fulfill the prophecy of Gaia and have a child who would slay him and take his place. Perhaps his child would be a better ruler than he. If that was not the case, there would be the final option to free Chronus and let him take the throne from Zeus's son.

Yet, Metis was trapped in his mind. She would give him no children as far as he knew possible. Thus he attempted with Themis, without informing her of his secret suicidal desire. He was happy to find that the first child was a daughter, yet the second was the same. Six children were had, yet all of them were daughters, not the son that was to slay him.

Zeus grieved, and began seeking a third wife. Someone who could grant him powerful children. As he did so, he grew frustrated and had several children with various nymphs, with the hope that perhaps one of them, despite not being his wives, could perhaps give birth to the prophesied child. Yet, while many of them bore him sons, none of the sons turned out to be the son of prophecy, and he became increasingly more aware that he needed a third wife. Soon, he found her.

Demeter.

The goddess of agriculture and grain had given birth to Plutus with Iasion, one of the many sons he had with the nymphs. Plutus, the Divine Child, was a great and capable ruler. If Demeter could grant him a son who would rule as well as Plutus, after killing Zeus... he had to take this opportunity. Thus, he seduced Demeter and took her as his third wife. The first child was Persephone, who was fairly capable. Yet, this marriage would not result in happiness. Persephone was taken by Hades, and in order to prevent war between the two, Zeus had to form a decree that Persephone would spend half of each year with Hades, only being allowed to leave the underworld for half of each year.

His decision threw Demeter into a horrible depression. Seeing her as sad as she was, Zeus decided that it would be far too cruel of him if he were to ask her to bear him another child. She would become far too attached to the resulting child, and if the child was killed, or if the child killed him, Demeter would become mentally and emotionally shattered.

In order to protect Demeter's sanity, Zeus decided to try his chances with a fourth wife. Although this was a difficult decision, he came to this conclusion as his aunt Mnemosyne comforted him after Persephone's kidnapping. Within nine days and nights of comfort, they had nine children: the Muses. With this in mind, Mnemosyne could not be the one to bear him the fated son, and thus he had to find another candidate for the fourth.

It was then that he noticed Hera. She was, although not as capable in combat as the other gods, a formidable woman. In fact, in some ways, she was the strongest woman. She was her final hope. Although Hera may have disliked the fact that Zeus married many women and bedded even more, he still managed to seduce her and marry her.

From their marriage, Zeus and Hera had Angelos. A powerful daughter in the form of a minor goddess of the underworld! Part one of the two part prophecy had been achieved. As such, he was overjoyed when the second child was a son, and even more so then this child, Ares, ended up becoming a major god of war. After all, what could be stronger than a god ruling over the domain of war itself?

As such, Hera was his final wife, and Zeus continued to have children with and live with her happily. That is, until he realized something incredibly simple: Ares had no desire to kill him.

Why?

He finally finished the prophecy, didn't he?

Ares was hotheaded and violent. He was strong. There was no way that he could not be the fated child, right?

This revelation made Zeus panic again, and once more he began having children with various women, including mortals. This drove Hera to have a child borne of her own power without a father, Hephaestus. This placed a thought in Zeus' mind: Did Ares not want to kill him because he was being a good father? Would the prophecy never come to fruition if he did his best to be kind to his children and wives?

As he pondered this, one day he suddenly got a splitting headache. On that made him wish he could remove his head from his person. Quickly, he asked Metis what was happening in his mind, and she explained to him that she was giving birth to a daughter.

Metis, his first wife, who had been trapped in his head for several lifetimes... was giving birth to a daughter that she was pregnant with, and that the only way to release her would be for Zeus to order someone to split his head open with a blade.

His daughter.

The thought shocked him to the core. Other than the sheer impossibility of it all, the fact that the wife who was his only wife when he had received the cursed prophecy.

At first, he grew hopeful as he realized that if Metis could give birth to his daughter, she could also give birth to his son, which means that his slayer could be born from her.

Then he grew grateful as he realized that this would give him the excuse for him to command Ares to split his head in half, and thus kill Zeus.

Finally, he grew saddened as he realized that if Ares hesitates, which he undoubtedly will, his godly power might result in his new daughter's death as well, rather than just his.

Zeus refused to let his daughter die before she got the chance to live a proper life.

Yet, he couldn't just order anyone to split his head. His daughters and sisters lacked the tools and finesse to make a clean and safe cut, while the few that had a small chance to achieve this lacked the ability to generate enough force to pierce his divine flesh and bone. Meanwhile, most of his brothers either had eyes on the throne or had grudges against him. When he dies, it will most likely be due to the prophecy, which means that his brothers will most likely just put him out of commission for a very long time, which would be enough time and reason for a massive chaotic tragedy to befall upon Olympus, and possibly even upon the mortals.

No, he could not ask anyone to do this, but his sons.

Yet, he couldn't ask any of his sons to do this.

There was only one person he could give this task to.

With a heavy heart, Zeus called over Hephaestus, who was his son with Hera, and yet one who was not Zeus' own flesh and blood. Zeus asked him to use his tools to split his head open, and it was done. The flesh and bone of his skull broke apart, and holy mist spilled out with the sound of war horns, as his new daughter, fully garbed in armor and ready for combat, rose forth and stepped out from the mist.

Her name was Athena, and Zeus loved her. He loved her, as he did all his other children. Yet, he could also sense that Athena was special to him. Not just because she was the only child he had without the desire to have sex or the desire to get himself killed, but also because she was the only child that Metis bore him thus far.

Metis, his first love.

His Metis, his true love.

He may be depressed and still harbor a desire to fulfill the deadly fate given to him by grandmother Gaia, but upon Athena's birth he decided upon a conclusion for his life. He may continue to seek his ultimate end, but he would not rush towards it. Instead, he would devote himself to the safety and happiness of all his children, past present and future.

Unfortunately for Hera, his continued depression would lead to him continuing to seek love from various women, as well as potential children for either suicidal or loving.

Powers/Abilities (if any):

  • Weather Control: Zeus can control the weather to cause any kind of naturally occurring events, such as lightning storms, rainfall, etc. However, he can manipulate it in unnatural ways, such as making a cloud come down to the ground or the like. He can also apparently turn clouds and its contents invisible to all, including to other gods, like how he managed to turn himself and his lover invisible from Triton.
  • Eyes of Heaven: Zeus is known to be able to look down to any area in the mortal realm that he is concentrating upon. However, this is an Active ability, not a passive one.
  • Transformation: Zeus has been shown in multiple occasions to transform into humans and animals of any species or looks. He has even transformed into carbon copies of other men on some occasions, such as when he was trying to bed Heracles' mother.
  • Thunderbolts: A set of small dagger-sized weapons granted to Zeus by the Cyclops. When Zeus makes the motion of throwing it, but does not let it go of it, the Thunderbolt launches a bolt of divine lightning that is exponentially more powerful than a normal bolt of lightning. This bolt is powerful enough to kill gods in a single full-powered hit. He has several of these, and can wield several at a time if he so desires. However, none can wield them without mastery over the domain of lightning and a significant amount of power, as Zeus has. Whenever he launches one, it also relieves a significant bit of his stress. While this can be a good thing in that he can relieve a great deal of stress at once, it also means that Zeus cannot use the Thunderbolt in rapid succession without having a constant source of stress. This can be achieved by focusing on several things that are incredibly terrible in his mind, but doing this takes a toll on his sanity, and thus Zeus refuses to take this option in most occasions. He can store these within his own body, but doing so results in his body being physically weaker until they are taken out. Like most creations of the cyclops, the Thunderbolts are nearly indestructible.
  • Thundering Roar: Zeus can release a shout that is the booming noise of thunder itself. This noise is loud enough to deafen most, depending on how close they are, and Zeus can mute the noise for anyone within 5 meters of him if he wanted to by manipulating thunder. Even if an enemy is within 5 meters, he can mute it for himself while not muting it for the enemy. However, if an ally is 6 meters from him, there is no way for Zeus to mute it for them.
  • Shocking Physique: Zeus can electrically charge his own body with electricity. By charging his nerves, he can obtain quicker reaction times, while he can charge his muscles to get stronger and faster movement of his body. To do this, however, it requires electricity. The more electricity, the more power.
  • Teleportation: Zeus can apparently teleport to anywhere in the realms, although doing this consumes quite a bit of power and requires a great deal of concentration. As such, it is impossible whilst combat is occurring, provided that someone is actively attacking him. He can transport with him anyone or anything that he holds in his hands.
  • The Tankard of Blatant Bluntness: Meta once got a wooden tankard from one of his kids with "World's Best Dad" etched onto it, which he carried around with pride. He then was gifted a wooden tankard from... someone... with "World's Worst Husband" etched onto it. After a certain incident resulted in the destruction of both, Meta commissioned a tankard from the Cyclops, before etching both messages onto it. As such, now he has an indestructible tankard that states that he is both the world's greatest father and the world's worst husband, which he carries around all the time around his kids and wives.

Limitations to Powers/Abilities: Most of the limitations placed on Zeus is due to his position as the king of the gods, which means that he cannot abuse his power nor authority. He cannot afford to attack or hurt anyone without a good reason for doing so. Otherwise, the gods could rebel. Any three of the major gods could defeat him in a fair fight, while Poseidon or Hades could beat him with just one other major god helping them. Minor gods stand very little chance against Zeus, but as they often work together better than the major gods, bothering one could spell trouble from all of them. As for other limitations to his weapons and abilities, it is listed above in the individual abilities and weapons.

True, I am going to trust you and give this character to use. However, I want you to understand that I will not hesitate to speak up if you're doing something I am uncomfortable with and will need an explanation before you continue.

I actually prefer it that way. As a DnD player, i hate people to attempt to "be the hero" in a cooperative multiplayer game, so I'd like it if I was falling to da darkness

I understand that. Then, with that taken care of...I will update character listings with Metaniono as well as provide the available slot for his wife.

Divine Angle

Role: Tartarus, God of Tartarus/The Depths of the Underworld

Name: Tartarus

Gender: Male

Sexuality: Hetero

Personality: A Primordial with little care for anything that happens above his realm. He is old beyond most Gods' time, and his age in combination with everything that he has observed happen, mainly those that have gone in and out of his domain, has lead to a cynical, if not amused, outlook. His dominion over the depths, and few other Primordials, are all that he has observed to remain constant. Thus, he considers all else to be temporary states passing through time. Beyond these things, he has grown to taking a pleasure in the torment of his prisoners, whosoever they end up being, and will further become rather territorial at times, being that the Depths have always been his, but are all that have been his. In spite of any amount of bemusement he can find, he holds resentment towards the Gods that have imprisoned their own kin, and his descendants, within his domain. At the same time, he obviously is in no hurry to let them out of his realm on his own, although this has been affected by other outside situations one way or another.

Appearance: Tartarus, more often than not, takes imposing visages, anything to befit the ruler of the cruelest prison known to be. He usually would take a form made from fire, lava, smoke and the like, and would reach massive sizes. In recent times, he's formed for himself a more human looking appearance to use in interacting with other deities, this form standing around six feet in height, being broad and massive. He appears armored more often than not, as appearing otherwise whilst in his domain would be folly on his part. This form has scarred, battle worn skin, these being marks he had obtained on the form over time amidst the process of running his prison, and simply hasn't bothered to be rid of such marks. When outside of the depths of Tartarus, he can still assume a form born from fire and brimstone, but any such form can only be roughly the size of the human visage he wears.

History: One of the earliest Primordial Gods to come into being, Tartarus was given dominion over the depths of the greatest abyss and all that lay below the surface, and took his role with all the joy he could. He eventually formed a specific pit within the depths, a great stormpit of torment, and secluded himself mainly to it. Eventually, the abyss was named Tartarus, after its master. As time passed, the Gods began using the pit as a way to, if only temporarily, avoid their problems. Gods and men alike were thrown in to be tormented, either as punishment, or as imprisonment. He didn't object at any point, and simply took it upon himself to carry out the torment the Gods wanted. If nothing else, it finally gave him denizens to his domain, even if unwilling, and he quickly took a liking to his work. His realm slowly began to fill up, with the dead that were judged undeserving of a pleasant afterlife.

Eventually, the Olympians overthrew their predecessors, and Cronus was placed in the depths of Tartarus. Shortly after, ever more of the Titans were trapped withing. Tartarus gave them what all others trapped in his realm received, but lessened the punishment towards them, beginning to feel a sort of disdain for those above, and even those that were newly placed in his domain. The Titans had trapped many of their own kin in the abyss, and the Olympians, especially Zeus, was committing the same crimes. The irony of the situation wasn't lost to him, but his own disdain grew, as his descendants fought among themselves and suffered for the actions of a paltry few of them. After the Titans were imprisoned, Tartarus began spending more time above his abyss, keeping with the events that transpired from there on more closely.

Powers/Abilities (if any): As a Primordial deity, and one of the first to come into being, Tartarus has access to various powers and benefits the Primordials have, as well as benefits the Gods hold in general. Several abilities worthy of particular mention and description;

- Tartarus: Tartarus is the patron ruler of his namesake domain, and his power within the depths is absolute. Within the abyss, he can assume forms of gigantic size, his power is far greater than it is outside of his realm, and he is without true equal. Nyx, and few other Primordials, can traverse the realm of Tartarus safely and at will, but even then, they cannot challenge the God of the Depths alone. The Undead Kings, i.e The Three that judge mankind, can also move through the realm of Tartarus freely, but only for the sake of the duty placed upon them. This isn't to say he is without challenge, as Gods working in tandem could give him trouble within his realm, but in most instances, attempting to fight with Tartarus in the pits is a fool's errand. Beyond his personal ability, Tartarus can manipulate the realm of his namesake to his will, and can move through it however he pleases. He can command, and more so torment, the prisoners of his realm as he sees fit, this including anyone jailed there by the Gods, and those of the dead who, upon judgement, were deemed unworthy and given over to him for punishment everlasting.

- Fires of the Abyss: Tartarus controls and manipulates the fires from the deepest depths of the world, commanding fire, lava, brimstone, etc. He can further manipulate stone and earth, but his manipulation of fire, stone and the like becomes weaker the further he goes from the depths. Within Tartarus, it is at its strongest. In the general Underworld, he is still incredibly powerful, but much less so, considering how far down the abyss is anyway. On the surface, it is lesser than the Underworld, but not by incredible margins. His powers are at their weakest within the Heavens, i.e atop Olympus, Othrys, etc.

- Shapeshifting: Tartarus' shapeshifting is limited, perhaps due simply to his own preferences, to either taking his human-like form, or assuming forms made from fires, brimstone, lava or similar.

Limitations to Powers/Abilities: His command over Tartarus is only over Tartarus, obviously, but that has few limitations while in Tartarus, as he is the God of said location. As stated with the Fires of the Abyss, Tartarus power becomes lesser the further he is from his domain, to the point that any level of combat ability is very low within the Divine/Heavenly realms. His shapeshifting is limited to only take his attempted imposing visages of fire, smoke, and the like. He can't do as much with it as most other Gods can, either through actual limitation or preference.

Other: Herp-a-derp. There are things about Tartarus' character I can't confirm/say much about one way or another yet, in that I wait to see what others do, and wait to see how long the Titans remain imprisoned in the depths and all. So yeah.

Role: Hermes

Name: Meres

Gender: Male

Sexuality: straight

Personality: Meres is a smug, self indulgent trickster kind of god. On the outside he tries very damned hard to look the part of an innocent young brother, but really i is a front for the conniving con artist he is, going so far as stealing his cousin's favorite chalice and an extra helping of nectar. But he does knows when a line can be crossed, but never goes farther than that, just barely close enough to have all the fun he can have.

Appearance: Meres is thin and short with a head of black messy hair he keeps tied up in a ponytail, a winged hat, and wears a toga with a new type of legwear he invented: pants. He's often wearing a cloak, winged sandals, and a belt with pouches to keep the things he steals in. he also carries a staff called Caduceus

History: meres was the of a Pleiad and The King of the Gods, kept in a cave to hide them from the Queen of Olympus. He was wrapped up in blankets when he was born, and when his mother fell asleep. Meres just a few hours after being born made his way out of his blankets and crawled into the nearest city. There he learned who he was, and of his heritage as a god.

Learning all of this was fascinating to him, and excited him, until boredom struck him, and had the urge to go out to find a field where there was a pasture of cows that belonged to his older half brother. For the sake of amusing himself Meres stole the pasture while his brother slept just some several feet away until they were all in the cave with him.

With the cows in the cave he decided to sacrifice several of the cows to the gods, including himself and his brother. He then created the first lyre which he taught himself how to use in order to put his mother, who was stirring awake back to sleep before going to sleep himself. Hours later he was suddenly confronted by the Light God after he had realized who had taken his cattle (meres laughed at how long it took him to figure it out.) yet even though he was faced by an angry, older god, Meres had a trump card. After having been shouted down, he took out his lyre and began playing it, much to the older Gods pleasure. Wanting the instrument, Meres cut a deal that he would keep the cows, his Brother's staff, and his brotherly love, and the deal was made. And all of this happened in less than a day and eventually he came to Olympus.

Powers/abilities: Meres can fly around and shape shift into turtles and chickens, allow the ones on the brink of death to have a peaceful passing with his staff, or bring them back to life, guide the dead to the underworld.

Limitations on power: eyes cannot use his power of bringing the dead back to life unless the souls of the dead is still next to their body, and even then he is forbidden by the gods from doing so except under circumstances where they need him to do so. He also must have his winged sandals to fly, and he doesn't have much fighting capability and relies more on being a trickster.

If you wouldn't mind, please explain your rationale as to why Hermes can return people to life. The only mythological connotation he has with life and death is simply that he is a spirit's Guide to the Underworld, and being able to defy even the Lord of the Underworld himself is something I am not comfortable with. Even if the Gods have forbidden him from doing it unless absolutely necessary, I still don't know why it's even been included.

His staff, Cadeuceus, that he got from Apollo the god of medicine and healing, canonically has that ability.

If it's canonic, then it's fine. It's completely possible I overlooked it while reading, I'll admit that.

Role: Hecate, goddess of the Crossroads, Magic, Ghosts, and Necromancy

Name: Hecate

Gender: Female

Sexuality: Straight

Personality: Hecate is a rather calm presence, but her temper seems to bubble just below the surface. In all forms she is somewhat motherly and willing to help another soul, but she will not hesitate to put someone in their place if they begin to use her. She's unfortunately rather impatient, possibly due to the influence of the Maiden, but still shares the wisdom of the Crone no matter what form she's in. She also likes to tease a tad bit, but she means it in the best way - sometimes flirtatiously.

Appearance:

Maiden: The maiden is shorter in stature, approximately five feet tall, lean with almost little to no curve on her body. Her hair falls in long brunette curls and her eyes are a vivid amber, the only thing somewhat out of place in her youthful features. Her chiton is knee length, as per the usual maiden's skirt, and generally in a soft grey color.

Mother: Hecate's most common form. She stands at about five and a half feet tall, thicker or curvier in form, with her thick brown locks pulled into a knot at the back of her head. Her eyes are a bright amber still and her chiton becomes a deep crimson color, a low slung belt at her hips. Her only adornment is a necklace of Selenite, hanging flat against her olive skin.

Crone: A shriveled woman, hunched over with age and her features dragging. With her hair turned white and her croaking voice, the only remnant of the goddess's form being her ageless amber eyes.

History: Hecate is the child of two titans, and an only child - unlike the other gods of Olympus. She's lived so long her own history begins to blur, but she has seen the rise and fall of kings. She lingers beyond their sight, as any form, watching the judgement that guides them down the paths they follow. It is beyond her power to change their path once they have decided, but part of her worship searched for her blessings upon reaching said crossroads.

She drifts between worlds, not bound to one and belonging to none.

Powers/Abilities:

Ether Travel: She manages her constant pilgrimage between planes through the Ether, a gift few seem to use. The only problem is that for one, she must be able to perfectly 'know' the destination she wishes to reach, meaning she can really only travel to places she's been before. She cannot reach the inner sanctums of Olympus or the Underworld as well, no matter how well she knows their borders.

Shifting: The ability to change between the forms of Mother, Maiden, and Crone. The only downside is that she's generally stuck in that form for the day, and she has personally elected to only use that ability when not in the presence of mortals.

Clairvoyance: Can see the pathways one seeks to follow when she focuses her abilities. This is limited to the immediate next step, however, not the long term goal without significant consequence. Going any further will usually leave her bedridden for a day or two to recover.

While unnamed, Hecate has let a few trusted dead (usually her deceased priests) act as her eyes throughout Greece. She can see as they see through her own abilities, and usually uses them to see where her influence is most needed.

As the goddess of magic, she has many skills - however, she prefers to focus on the use of illusions and shadows. Hecate also likes to touch upon fire occasionally, but she's not particularly limited in variety. Specific things other gods control, like thunder and the seas, are more generalized for her usage and weaker in comparison.

Limitations: Other than already explained, Hecate is a goddess influenced by the moon. As such, she is stronger at night, and strongest as the moon grows full.

Other: May need to update eventually, will note when I do.

She cannot reach the inner sanctums of Olympus or the Underworld as well, no matter how well she knows their borders.

This is canonically false. Hecate is the one who guides Persephone in and out of Hades every half-year. (which, based on your version of Persephone, could either mean that Lena likes or dislikes her, up to you)

Like I said, she'll be updated, but currently she has no reason to be involved with Persephone until the half year bargain is struck.

That also only applies to the Ether travel. She can walk like a mortal within the borders easily, but once she passes the entryway she can't use the Ether until she passes under the entryway again as she leaves.

Role: Nike; Goddess of Victory, dealer of praise and accolades, Semi-ruler of Celebrations and sports. Name: Palodasci ("don't shorten it, fore you may as well shorten her title and domain", i mean, like you can shorten it but she don't like that.) Gender: Female Sexuality: Pansexual Personality: Palodasci is one of the older Gods, helping Metis take the throne. It is Rumored that her very presence brings invincibility. She is confident, graceful, and Loves testing peoples hearts. She is incredibly wise as she deals with every victory and defeat, is always down to party, and sings songs of, you guessed it, victory. Everything is a sort of game to her, she wants to see if those around her are worthy of their renown. Palodasci is also very analytical which a lot of the time leads her to political discussion for arguments make the best games, of which she takes pride in winning. BUT, she isn't a sore loser and will always gladly grant victory to those who deserve it. Her anger though is that of the titans before her. She holds grudges very easily believing "Victory turns its back on those who upset Valor." She likes to refer to her self as victory and others who seem valiant as Champion. Appearance: Palodasci has an athletic curvy build with toned arms wide hips and muscular legs. She is nearly 7ft! with golden brown skin and long blonde hair usually in a braid or ponytail. She has strong, golden, eagle wings the length of her body. Eyes hazel and she wears golden dresses and armor. Has a tendency to blindingly glow when triumphant. Also she loooooves eyeliner!!! History: She helped in the war against the titans, as Zeus's Charioteer and Palodasci now stands tall as one of the great judges of Olympus. Even though her speed rivals that of Hermes and her power dictates success and failure of Gods and Men many see her victories as that of Ares or Athena and so she begins to envy them and many other gods for taking the glory. (Sort of ironic seeing that she grants glory, GRANT YOURSELF SOME GLORY AND QUIT WHINING!) Her competitive nature always deterred people from her but she can always rely on her siblings Zelos, Kratos, and Bia to back her up as the four warriors are bound to each other. Over the eons she has seen a lot of Thanatos, as her work tends to give him work. Abilities: Transmutation- the ability to manipulate objects into gold at will. This is done every time she crowns a victor and bestows golden gifts. Though she can't turn live creatures unless they haven't upheld their appointed victory, in which she may feel betrayed and curse them into golden statues. Wings- allow her to fly at unimaginable speed, and create billowing winds. But strong gods can withhold the wind. Lying under her wings may also heal ones wounds, but never resurrect. Heavenly whip- A golden whip that wards off the likes of any who get in her way. The crack creates a sort of force field. Her whip is also used to control her golden statues. But it can be taken, just as all of her objects. (Rationale, she's kind if sure to get you success, how does she help give victory if she herself is defeated) Golden Shield- In its' reflection she sees all forms of conflict and for more pressing or entertaining events is there in person. Also its s shield because. . . Shield. Shifting: She can shift into A Golden lioness, a symbol of ferocity and pride. Also there is a chariot to fly great victors to mount Olympus, and hold all of her dang crap (Gold weighs a ton) Other: Palodasci has an affinity to the sky as well as the sea. Her affinity with water is because of her mother styx. And she doesn't have a physical domain, as her's is an idea. (Oh and question, how do I join the fun?)
