Bill Friday "I'm not gonna lose sleep over it then." He leaned unti, he was laying on his back on the grass and looked up at the sun as it hurled across the sky. "So do you plan on letting your mother lord over your suitors the rest of your days?" 1/11/2017 #61 |
Valhallan Rose Lena rolled her eyes, flopping back into the grass and feeling a few lilies sprout around her. "Don't remind me. It's enough of a struggle trying to make friends, let alone find suitors..." 1/11/2017 #62 |
Bill Friday "Can I be your friend?" He lifted his head and moved his feet so they weren't obstructing his view of her. 1/11/2017 #63 |
Valhallan Rose Lena paused, before she rolled onto her side to look at him and giving him a smile. "I think..." She hummed for a moment, trying to articulate the words correctly. "I think I'd like that, so long as you don't have an ulterior motive." 1/11/2017 #64 |
Bill Friday "To be honest I dont have one." For now. "It's just nice to help out someone who needs a companion who's not, mostly afraid of an overprotective mother." 1/11/2017 #65 |
Valhallan Rose Lena grinned then, plucking up a white lily and offering it to him. "Then I gladly accept." 1/11/2017 . Edited 1/11/2017 #66 |
Bill Friday "Thank you." He said taking the flower. "And what's with the flower?" 1/11/2017 #67 |
Valhallan Rose "A token." She said simply, laying back and closing her eyes. "And a thank you." 1/11/2017 #68 |
Bill Friday "You're welcome." He said smugly and put the flower in his pouch. "So do you have anything else to do here?" 1/11/2017 #69 |
Valhallan Rose She shook her head, a slight sigh escaping her. "Nothing more than wait for mother...she only said she would come for me in the gardens before sundown, nothing more." 1/11/2017 #70 |
Bill Friday "Why are you in the gardens aside of making a bouquet?" 1/11/2017 #71 |
Valhallan Rose "Wandering. Growing. Making sure Father hasn't murdered the innocent flora in any of his well known fits of rage." 1/11/2017 #72 |
Bill Friday "If it's a for of rage I think you have your work cut out for you." He snarled. "Maybe he's busying himself with a process on some island." 1/11/2017 #73 |
Valhallan Rose Lena winced then, a few of the flowers in her hand wilting as she gazed down at the ground. "...I apologize if my remark offended you." 1/11/2017 #74 |
Bill Friday "Why would you think that?" Meres asked whole he nspected the empty bottle. "Just stating things he he would most likely be doing." 1/11/2017 #75 |
Valhallan Rose "Your tone." She said, sighing and casting the flowers aside. "You sounded upset by the idea." 1/11/2017 #76 |
Bill Friday (Damn it autocorrect! It was saupposed to be snarked) "I tend to confuse how I'm supposed to talk sometimes, so apologies." He tossed the bottle over his shoulder not caring where it landed. "Again, not like I wasn't anything that wasn't true." 1/11/2017 #77 |
Valhallan Rose She nodded, giving him a slight smile. "Fair point." 1/12/2017 #78 |
Bill Friday "What's the harvest goddess doing in this time then?" Meres asked while looking for a bush or tree that had fruit in it. 1/12/2017 #79 |
Valhallan Rose "Do you mean what is she doing here? If I'm honest, I have no idea. Something about flooding from the sea god ruining crops, I believe." 1/12/2017 #80 |
Bill Friday He snorted. "yes, that's why she would be here, how forgetful of me." And still he tried holding back a hysterical laugh 1/12/2017 #81 |
Valhallan Rose Lena huffed, getting to her feet and setting her hands on her hips. "You're laughing at her." 1/12/2017 #82 |
Bill Friday "I'm laughing at the sea god." He clarified, looking a little offended. "What reason did I have for laughing at her?" 1/12/2017 #83 |
Valhallan Rose Lena crossed her arms, cheeks flushed a bright gold. "What was I to assume, when the topic of conversation was my mother and you laughed just after I spoke of her?" 1/12/2017 #84 |
Bill Friday "Cause he made the mistake, and she was mad at him." He explained. "Honestly how some can make mental leaps like that." 1/12/2017 #85 |
Valhallan Rose Lena went to respond but heard the call of her mother, panicking and gathering her flowers up before she bowed slightly to him. "It was wonderful meeting you, Meres. Perhaps we will encounter one another again." 1/12/2017 #86 |
Bill Friday "Perhaps." He said still looking for a fruit to eat. "Goodbye Lena." He told her nonchalantly 1/12/2017 #87 |
Valhallan Rose She nodded and quickly turned, rushing to meet her mother at the entrance to the gardens before she caught sight of Meres. She wouldn't like Lena interacting with a man, especially not an Olympian... What mother didn't know wouldn't hurt her. 1/12/2017 #88 |
gftydyutfiuih Athene sat on the cloudy edge of Olympus, kicking her bare feet into the cool, breezy air that hung in the atmosphere above the mortal world. She was feeling the ache of the great loss that came with the end of the Trojan War, as the mortals called it. She had not seen such a greater loss of life in her immortal existence and hoped she would not have to experience such waste of life again. Regardless, Athene had allowed herself to revel in the celebration of a hard-earned victory, as even her plan to return Odysseus to his home was a success. Now, she simply waited until her next adventure could begin. But what that could entail could only be determined by Fate. 1/18/2017 #89 |
Divine Angle Thanatos moved through the streets of Olympus quickly, not caring much for being there at the time. He had news to deliver, and he would do so quickly. He had already bugged several of the Gods, there was but one left to inform... Ah. There she was. He approached an edge of Olympus, nearing Athene, and once behind her, said, "Greetings. What is so captivating at the edge of Olympus that you are pulled to it? I would think that the realm of the Gods would have far more visually catching sights than the mortal world below." 1/19/2017 #90 |
