Patrick Anderson ran through the woods, the monsters behind him getting closer.

artemis followed from a distance, keeping patrick safe.

Eventually, Patrick tripped and was cornered by hellhounds.

artemis shot the hellhounds in the head. giving him a lighted path.

Patrick followed the path.

it lead all the way to camp halfblood

Patrick looked in awe at the camp.

a silver arrow flashed above his head.

Patrick was scared, he didn't know what it meant.

chiron stared when he reached patrick. "my gods." he said, and he bowed. "all hail.... what's your name son?" he asked.

"Patrick Anderson." He said.

"all hail patrick anderson.... son of artemis." chiron says.

Patrick was scared, confused, hungry, cold, and tired?

"come with me." chiron said, leading patrick to the artemis cabin.

Patrick liked this cabin, it felt safe. "Who's that?" Patrick asked, pointing to a portrait of Artemis.

"that is the godess artemis. your mother." chiron said, looking at the portrait.

"she's really pretty,can I meet her?" Patrick asked, looking at the son of Cronos.

chiron nodded. "eventually. but not now. now you must rest." she said, smiling.

Patrick soon settled into life at camp Half-Blood. He found a brochure for the hunters of Artemis. As he read it, he saw a benefit of joining Being they could hunt alongside Artemis forever, so long as they didn't break their vows of celibacy.

"can't you just be who you are? stay a half blood." artemis said, behind patrick.

Patrick jumped as he turned around to see a 30 year old woman standing before him. Although she was 30 she still had an inhumanly Aura of youth. "Mama.." Patrick said before hugging her with tears of joy flowing down his face.

"my boy." she said, hugging him tightly. she said, smiling.

"where were you all my life, didn't you want me?" Patrick asked, looking up at her with a sad looking face.

"it's not like that sweetheart. it's never like that." she siad. "i've been watching you from a distance. keeping you protected." she said.

"then why can't I join your hunters?" He asked.

"becaue i want you to live your life as normal as normal can be for a half blood patrick." she said.

"but don't I get a say in it, what about what I want. I want to get to know you, to know what it's like to have a real mom." He said, hugging her again.

"how about this. i'll iris message you whenever i can, i'll send you post cards, and i'll send you gifts from wherever i'm at at the time." she said, smiling.

"but I want to be with you. Your hunters get to." Patrick said showing the part of the brochure that boasted about hunting alongside lady Artemis.

"my hunters also fight hellhounds and monsters. i don't want that kind of life for you patrick." she said, smiling kindly.
