Patrick Anderson is a young 6 year old child sitting on a beach when he saw a mermaid caught in a old net. Patrick ran over and helped free her. "My name's Patrick, who are you?" Patrick asked innocently.

Patrick smiled. "I'm not going to hurt you." He promised.

"I'm six." Patrick said.

"How could I possibly Hutt you." Patrick said, looking at her with a longing look in his eyes. He was lonely in every sense of the word.

Patrick looked at the mermaid. "Please don't go, at least not yet." Patrick pleaded.

"My name's Patrick. " He said.

"Your really pretty Maia." He said innocently.

"How did you get tangled?" Patrick asked, unaware that if you help a merperson, you get three wishes.

"I'm sorry." Patrick said, feeling guilty.

"I was, my dad died. I'm all alone now." He said sadly.

"She died giving birth to me." He said sadly.

"What's it like, living in the sea?" Patrick asked.

"It sounds nice, I wish I could live in the sea." He said.
