Pairings: Your prompt must be D/G centric but may feature any side pairings. It's recommended that you suggest side pairings rather than demand them; if your prompt is great but you insist on a Dumbledore/Giant Squid side pairing, we're going to have trouble matching you with a writer.

Ratings: Please include your desired range in the prompt, particularly if you want a squeaky clean fic... or a not-so-squeaky clean fic. And if you're really too young to be reading/writing fics of the adult variety, please don't request them. We corrupt minds enough here as it is.

Ky's Prompt #1

Basic premise:

There's a time loop and Quidditch Queen Ginny Weasley is having none of it—neither is intrepid reporter Draco Malfoy, the only other person who can tell it's happening.

Must Haves:

Romance, laughter, and fun. Lighthearted is the goal, but threads of angst welcome.

No-no:

Cheating, child death, noncon. Otherwise, go wild.

Rating range:

Whatever you're comfortable with. I'm an adult and read any rating.

Bonus points:

If you can make this into a romantic comedy buddy cop type fic I will adore you forever. If you take the bare outline as a guideline to be shifted or dropped however you see fit I will also adore you forever because you're still writing for me.

Basic premise:

If the HP series was also an 80s movie and Draco Malfoy was the star.

Must Haves:

Pop culture references worked in however you can stretch it. If that means David Bowie is the current wizarding heartthrob go for it.

No-Nos:

Cheating, child death, noncon. Otherwise, go wild.

Rating range:

Whatever you're comfortable with. I'm an adult and read any rating.

Bonus points:

I don't even care what genre of 80s movie you go for. Horror movie, teen romcom, Breakfast Club, bad cop movie. Heckle, do all of them and make me squee forever.

Basic premise:

Draco adopts a child but finds himself needing a little help taking care of his new bundle of joy.

Must Haves:

Humor, snark, and the attraction of Draco Malfoy with a baby. Ginny/Draco romance not strictly required, but hopeful for the future.

No-Nos:

Cheating, child death, noncon. Otherwise, go wild.

Bonus points:

Draco actually invested in learning how to parent instead of just getting a nanny. Draco knowing/having known the baby's birth parents. Twins, if you really want to knock my socks off.

Basic premise: superhero!AU—Ginny Weasley is a vigilante, protecting the city of London from thugs and criminal masterminds. When her investigation into a recent string of murders exposes her true identity to Draco Malfoy, the son of one of her suspects, she's forced to trust and work with him.

Must haves: brave but impulsive!Ginny, sneaky but vulnerable!Draco, enemies to friends to lovers

No-no's: Trio bashing, HP/HG

Rating range: Any

Bonus points: Harry and Ron are cops working with the vigilante (not knowing it's Ginny); smut; Neville is the only other person who knows Ginny is the vigilante; solid Draco/Pansy/Blaise friendship; Draco and Ginny work extremely well together and hate/love it.

Noelle's Prompt 2:

Basic premise: vampire!AU—Ginny Weasley has been training to hunt vampires since she was little. When her parents go missing, and her brothers are too far away to help, Ginny finds clues that point her to Draco Malfoy—a vampire whose escaped Ron's grasp several times. But instead of hunting him, she has to ask for his help.

Must haves: sarcastic and intelligent!Draco, witty and outgoing!Ginny, enemies to lovers or enemies to friends to lovers, Draco and Ginny going against their instincts to help each other.

Noelle's Prompt 3:

Basic premise: veela!AU—Draco Malfoy is livid when he discovers he has Veela blood on his eighteenth birthday. Especially since he already agreed to go back to Hogwarts for his 'eighth' year, at his mother's insistence. And when he spots Ginny Weasley back at school, he quickly realizes who his mate is. Of course.

Must haves: curious and sympathetic!Ginny, snarky but vulnerable!Draco, a solid Ginny/Hermione friendship, a solid Draco/Pansy friendship

No-no's: Trio bashing, HP/HG

Rating range: Any

Bonus points: Ginny and Draco bond over her first year and why she hates the idea of anyone not being in control of their feelings/body; Hermione is the first person to realize why Draco is acting so strange around Ginny; smut; Harry and Ron meet everyone during a Hogsmeade trip and are surprised to see Draco is a part of the group.

Elizabeth's Prompt #1

Basic premise: Draco must work undercover to bring down some shady criminals (Death Eaters, dealers in cursed objects, dragon smugglers, whatever you like. Why Draco is doing this is also up to you - he's an Auror, the Ministry is coercing him, he's bored and needs something to pass the time, etc.). Ginny unwittingly involves herself in the investigation.

Must haves: Serious high-stakes. Some humor/lightheartedness is okay, but at some point there should be actual danger involved in this investigation.

No-no's: No damsel-in-distress/helpless Ginny - it's okay if Draco has to save her from something/someone, so long as she's not totally helpless. No nicknames likes Weaselette or Ferret. No Harry/Hermione, and no Harry-bashing. No non-con.

Rating range: Any

Bonus points: If Ginny eventually figures out what's going on and inserts herself into the investigation to help Draco, against Draco's wishes. If Harry is also involved in some way (not as a bad guy, keep him true to character).

Elizabeth's Prompt #2

Basic premise: Draco and Ginny wake up together somewhere with no memory of how they got there or what happened between them. Complications and hilarity ensue.

Must haves: A lighthearted or comedic tone with this one. Think comedy of errors. With a lot of bickering.

No-no's: No overly simple explanation, like "it was all a dream." No dark tone, though you can include some serious drama/conflict if you like. No nicknames likes Weaselette or Ferret. No Harry/Hermione, and no Harry-bashing.

Rating range: Any

Bonus points: Lots of side characters. Draco and Ginny following clues to retrace their steps and figure out what happened.

Elizabeth's Prompt #3

Basic premise: Hogwarts decides to host an All-Star Quidditch match. Draco and Ginny are the captains of the opposing teams.

Must haves: Both teams made up of players from all Houses, since it's an All-Star game. Ginny and Draco being ridiculously competitive, with their teammates trying to get them to chill out. Snarky!Draco and Ginny becoming increasingly short-tempered and unhinged.

No-no's: No nicknames likes Weaselette or Ferret. No Harry/Hermione, and no Harry-bashing.

Rating range: Any

Bonus points: If a Slytherin teammate becomes Ginny's right-hand man because he/she doesn't like Draco. If Draco attempts something underhanded to sabotage Ginny and completely fails.

Desertisle's Prompt (#1):

Basic premise: Narcissa Malfoy has contracted a mysterious illness, her son has called for preeminent Healer Ginevra Weasley to help with his mother's illness.

Must haves: Ginny has come out of semi retirement for this case. Both Draco and Ginny are in their early 30s, their lives didn't pan out as they were supposed to. I would like to see the classic DG banter, a Narcissa that has not lost her sense of self and all parties coming to terms with the past and present. The fic should be lighthearted with sprinkles of seriousness.

No-no's: No bashing of characters other than in jest, no Pureblood prejudices, no use of the word "mudblood", "blood traitor" and not too much potty mouth.

Rating range: K, K-plus, T, M

Bonus points: A kiss between the two filled with magic. Wedding/Vow exchange at a bedside. Ginny speaking to her parents about her new case.

Desertisle's Prompt (#2):

Basic premise: It's the 50th anniversary of the Battle of Hogwarts. To commemorate the event, Hogwarts has asked anyone at the Battle to write their memories of the battle including how that moment shaped their lives.

Must haves: Somehow Ginny and Draco are together, its up to you if they got together way before or just before this anniversary. Their letter could be written together or separately but must include how they become a couple as well as their memories of the day.

No-no's: No bashing of characters or couples, no Pureblood prejudices, no use of the word "mudblood", "blood traitor".

Rating range: K, K-plus, T, M

Bonus points: Headmaster Longbottom accepts the memories from individuals such as Luna Lovegood, the trio and DG.

Desertisle's Prompt (#3):

Basic premise: Center your story around this quote "A Journey of a Thousand Miles Begins with a Single Step."- Lao Tzu

Must haves: Set just after the Voldemort has died with both Ginny and Draco taking a defining step towards a goal for example either Draco or Ginny or both helping the injured/assisting aurors/Draco moving away from his family. The scene can be followed by what happens in the near future or much later in the future. The initial step/decision leads them to their career and finally each other.

No-no's: No bashing of characters other than in jest, no Pureblood prejudices, no use of the word "mudblood", "blood traitor".

Rating range: K, K-plus, T, M

Bonus points: Include Lao Tzu's quote within the story. Would like to read how both the families accept their relationship.

Tasha's Prompt (#2)

Basic premise: Ginny and Draco are big into the music scene, muggle magic, and seem to constantly be bumping into each other at the same gigs. Is the same taste in music enough to undo years of family tensions?!

Must haves: London. Range of music from rock to classical to hip hop.

No-no's: No crazy out of characterness. No trio bashing.

Rating range: Whatever works.

Bonus points: A secret gig. One of them has an obsession with buying band merch.

Tasha's Prompt (#3)

Basic premise: Ginny opens a coffee shop. Draco has a really bad caffeine dependancy.

Must haves: Ginny roping in friends and family to help keep the shop going. Draco reluctantly wanting to like the coffee.

No-no's: No crazy out of characterness. No trio bashing. No gross, overtly twee coffee shop.

Rating range: Whatever works.

Bonus points: Draco learning to make the perfect cappuccino. Draco bringing a date to the coffee shop (obvs it ends badly).

Eustacia Vye's Prompt (#1)

Basic premise: A darker, angstier side of Ginny. Her trauma has been pretty much ignored unless convenient, and she's tired of being left in Harry's wake.

Must haves: "I'm sick of being left out and forgotten. Now it's my turn to be important!"

No-no's: No Harry/Ginny. Like, EVER. I happily ignore that in canon, please and thank you. My usual do not wants include cheating, scat, watersports, mpreg, noncon (mentioned tangentially is okay, but not explicitly described in fic please) and victim blaming.

Rating range: Go wherever the muse takes you! I'm a-okay with smut, and it's perfectly allowed on AO3, where I usually hang out. :)

Bonus points: Nobody from canon being a Bad Guy just for the sake of being the Bad Guy. If someone makes a dumbass decision, that's one thing. But don't warp characterization just to fit the plot, please.

Eustacia Vye's Prompt (#2)

Basic premise: I enjoyed writing Healer!Ginny in the past. How about we have more of that?

Must haves: Someplace other than St. Mungo's. Maybe have Ginny in training outside of England. There's a whole wide world of magic out there!

No-no's: No Harry/Ginny. Like, EVER. I happily ignore that in canon, please and thank you. My usual do not wants include cheating, scat, watersports, mpreg, noncon (mentioned tangentially is okay, but not explicitly described in fic please) and victim blaming.

No-no's: extreme ooc, Ginny being a total harpy (and I don't mean the pro quidditch kind)

Basic premise: Sixth-year Ginny Weasley must raise her potions grade or be suspended from the quidditch team. Draco Malfoy is her tutor.

Anise's Prompt (#1)

Basic premise: Draco and Ginny are both Aurors. One of them was sent undercover in the Muggle world… but got in too deep. This could be because they lost their memory, just plain didn't want to come back, or basically any other reason. The other is sent in to find them and bring them back. But the problem is that they don't really want to return…

Must haves: Other than the above, use your imagination. Settings could include anywhere and anytime. Present day, time travel... anything. Draco and Ginny could have had a previous relationship or not, and they could be friendly or not.

No-no's: No D/G offspring, please.

Rating range: Any

Bonus points: Smut, a dark tone.

Anise's Prompt (#2)

Basic premise: Ginny has a secret pet that she doesn't want anyone to know about. Problems arise. Draco finds out. Trouble ensues.

Must haves: At least some humor. This could be in any era.

No-no's: No D/G offspring, please.

Bonus points: If the pet is a Porg.

Anise's Prompt (#3)

Basic premise: Draco. Ginny. The end of the world is at hand. Nothing is what it appears to be.

Basic premise: Draco and Ginny Silicon Valley AU

Basic premise: Fate kept bringing Draco and Ginny together randomly at restaurants and bars

Julie's Prompt #1

Basic premise: Draco finding Ginny when she's having a panic attack because of a boggart in the dungeons and is really curious as to why her worst fear is a Slytherin Head Boy whom he'd never seen before.

Must haves: Ginny Weasley recognised for the badass that she is. Draco Malfoy learning how to have friends. Hogwarts Era (the year doesn't matter).

No-no's: Bad ending that makes you wanna cry, Draco being shy and no Tom Riddle bashing.

Rating range: Preferably M. No need for any explicit smut, but shouldn't be a kids fic.

Bonus points: Draco Malfoy being a cute, clueless baby when it comes to actually having friends beneath all of his tough guy/bad boy exterior. "You have no idea how to do this, do you?"

Julie's Prompt #2

Basic premise: A sixth year AU where Draco joins the DA because he sees his father bowing and kissing Voldemort's feet and "no Malfoy shall ever bow, that abomination needs to go".

Must haves: At least most of the fic has to be in Hogwarts Era. Draco teaching others how to fight a Death Eater beyond using Experliarmus every few spells. Ginny teaching Draco how to cast a Patronus and realising he's a natural because he is a master oclumens/legilimens and knows how to manipulate the mind in his sleep. Conjuring a happy memory and focusing on it? Pft, easy.

No-no's: No Draco being a goodie goodie, ok? This is still the proud aristocrat and yes he's on the 'good' side, but he isn't exactly in it for all the good reasons. No irrationally angry Ginny. This girl is much more level headed than her family because she learned it from the best Slytherin when she was eleven. Oh yeah, also no sad endings.

Rating range: At least M. No need for super descriptive smut but there should be some steamy times between our favourite pairing.

Bonus points: Draco becoming friends with Neville and some Zabini appreciation.

Julie's Prompt #3

Basic premise: "Anything is possible if you got enough nerve." Ginny Weasley making Draco Malfoy her personal project sometime after the talk with Hermione when she decides to stop being obsessed with Harry and get on with her life. Dating Dean and Cormac was fun and all but she needs something other than boys to occupy her time and what's better than trying to convert a slytherin to the good side?

Must haves: Arnold the Pygmy Puff interaction with Draco Malfoy, at least some humour and plenty of character development.

No-no's: No shy and completely inexperienced Draco Malfoy, no sad ending and no Slytherin bashing. This should not be a crack fic.

Rating range: Anything above T. Some hooking up expected but no heavy smut required.

Bonus points: Pansy and Ginny becoming bros. I need some Slytherin girl appreciation in my life. Sexy times in the Library would be appreciated.

Boogum's Prompt (1)

Basic premise: Ginny either joins or is coerced into joining some kind of "therapy group" (you can choose - whether it be an addiction recovery group, anger management, some kind of PTSD group - whatever). The point is that Draco is a member of the same group, much to her chagrin.

Must haves: Post-Hogwarts.

No-no's: Previous DG relationship. Character bashing. Excessive angst.

Rating range: Any

Bonus points: Some quirky or unexpected side characters (for the therapy group members). If Ginny and Draco are forced to draw crayon pictures (or something Draco would find equally ridiculous) as part of the therapy classes. Awkward flirting.

Boogum's Prompt (2)

Basic Premise: There are two scenarios here:

1: Draco is an extremely wealthy/important man who has made a lot of enemies, including the dreaded 'insert enemy'. He is assigned a body guard to protect him 24-7, who just happens to be Ginny Weasley. Too bad he's a selfish, uncooperative prick.

2: Ginny Weasley is an extremely wealthy/important woman who has been targeted by a criminal group known only as the 'insert name'. Draco Malfoy is assigned to be her body guard and protect her 24-7. Too bad she's a stubborn wench who doesn't like taking orders.

Must-Haves: Banter, banter, banter! Humour, snark, and lots of sexual tension.

No-No's: Cheating. A previous relationship between Draco and Ginny.

Rating: Any

Bonus Points: If Draco or Ginny gives the other 'the slip' and ends up needing to be rescued. If the body guard has to attend one of the guarded person's dates in disguise and spends the whole time making a snarky commentary through a magical earpiece - much to the annoyance of the other.

Boogum's Prompt (3)

Basic Premise: Ginny discovers a secret about Draco, which prompts the blond to use any means necessary to keep her mouth shut and make sure it stays that way for the rest of her life.

Must Haves: Hogwarts Era. Humour/Romance. Should be a relatively light fic, but I don't mind if you want to bring in serious aspects -- just make it believable.

No-nos: OOC characters or bashing. No Harry/Ginny or previous DG relationship.

Rating Range: Any.

Bonus Points: If you feature an under-used HP character somehow. In other words, someone other than Blaise, Luna, Hermione, Snape, etc. Though I don't mind if you use those characters as well.

Jessica's Prompt (1)

Basic premise: It's the 10-year anniversary of the Battle of Hogwarts. The Ministry throws a ball to celebrate and everyone is invited. Who makes an appearance and what has changed since Voldemort's defeat?

Must haves: Other characters besides Draco, Ginny, and Harry/Ron/Hermione. The background characters do not have to be prominent, but one or more of them do have to at least be mentioned as attending the ball with some explanation of what's going on in their lives.

No-no's: Ginny or Draco in relationships with anyone else. Cheating. I do not like the following nicknames: Ferret, Weaselette, Mione. No rape/non-con sex.

Rating range: Any.

Bonus points: Ginny and Draco having unconventional friends. If the side characters I requested ARE prominent/important in the story. Someone getting sloppy drunk.

Jessica's Prompt (2)

Basic premise: When Ginny was a child, her mother told her stories about the land of the fae and its faerie king. Little did Ginny know that the stories were true. (This can be as AU or as allegorical as you'd like! If you don't fancy a literal interpretation, feel free to just use this as a jumping off point.)

Must haves: A happy ending.

No-no's: Cheating. I do not like the following nicknames: Ferret, Weaselette, Mione. No rape/non-con sex.

Rating range: Any.

Bonus points: If Draco is the faerie king. Or Ginny is secretly fae royalty. If you go the non-literal route, if one of Molly's faerie tales is interwoven with the story. A mystical/faerie tale atmosphere.

Jessica's Prompt (3)

Basic premise: Ginny has been working for Draco for over a year, but she can't take the long hours or the impossible standards anymore. When she turns in her two weeks notice, Draco realizes what he's about to lose.

Must haves: Humor. Yes, this prompt is inspired by the movie Two Weeks Notice, featuring Sandra Bullock and Hugh Grant. I haven't seen the movie in years, though, so I don't remember much of it, and I would prefer your own take on the premise, not an adaptation of the movie.

No-no's: Ginny or Draco in relationships with anyone else. Cheating. I do not like the following nicknames: Ferret, Weaselette, Mione. No rape/non-con sex.

Rating range: Any.

Bonus points: If Draco doesn't manage to convince Ginny to retract her notice. If Ginny and Draco are professional equals, not superior and subordinate. Basic Premise: Genderbent! The Malfoys are the poor Purebloods, the Weasleys the rich ones. Take it from there. What affect would this change in situation have on their personalities and outlooks? Have fun with it!

Basic Premise: I don't think I've ever seen a story where Ginny was the one who was a teacher at Hogwarts, so let's play with that. Draco is also a teacher. Their relationship hasn't changed from their schooldays.

Must Haves: I want to see antagonistic banter, them using the students against each other, etc. Take them from enemies competing against each other for "Best Professor" to Lovers, with whatever stops you like on the way.

No-no's: Non-con

Bonus Points: Neville is also a professor and gets dragged between them constantly.

Basic Premise: Ginny injures Draco's pet. He rants at her about it and she decides she will nurse it back to health herself. Well, he's not about to let her steal his pet, so he insists if she must take care of his animal, that she will do so at the Manor. Shenanigans ensue, they end up lovers.

No-no's: Non-con

Bonus Points: The pet is not Malfoy's, it had just been following him around at the time. It was all a ploy to get Ginny to his house for a time.
