Dear P&P fans

can you help me understand what Darcy means when he, after dancing with Elizabeth at Netherfield, replies to her that "I would by no means suspend any pleasure of yours"? It is stated that he replies it "coldly", so he must be annoyed in some way, but how do you interpret his reply to her saying that But if I do not take your likeness now, I may never have another opportunity.''
