That question is hereby disqualified,

Little Miss Hades, you are not a part of this comptetion. Please shut it.

7/20/2010 #62

Er, Miss Hades this just between Dream and Gabi.

7/20/2010 #63

I think you mean the Amortena (Spelling?), the most powerful love potion in the world. Fresh Parchment, Freshly cut grass, and something she won't say.

Little Miss Hades

Okay. Sorry.

7/20/2010 #65

I will answer another question if you want.

Ariadne's Twine

Gabi, please supply another question.

7/20/2010 #67

7/20/2010 #68

OK, take your time.

7/20/2010 #69

And so, after the second fire drill of the night (WTF, man, WTF):

What main event/character did Lavender Brown face during the Battle of Hogwarts?

ETA: By the way, in about fifteen minutes I'm probably going to leave for a good hour since I Have a meeting and then HP reading to my mum. :]

skies never so blue

We need an answer, Dream!

7/20/2010 #71

Ten minutes have passed.

7/20/2010 #72

Sorry. Iwas reading the Confessions thread and I started crying.

Fenir Greyback

7/20/2010 #73

Yup. Your turn~

7/20/2010 . Edited 7/20/2010 #74

Which dragon did Fleur have to face?

7/20/2010 #75

Common Welsh Green.

(Can I pull out my big-ger cards yet, or...?)

How much did the Omnioculars cost at the World Cup of '94?

7/20/2010 . Edited 7/20/2010 #76

10 galleons. (I hope.)

7/20/2010 #77

Yup. Your q. (Nine minutes until I leave, but I do get to be up until 11:30 tonight because of the fire drills.)

7/20/2010 #78

"The one with the power to vanquish the dark lord approches." _______________ (Fill in next 2 sentences.)

I have the whole prophecy memorized.

7/20/2010 #79

"Born to those who have thrice defied him, born as the seventh month dies... The Dark Lord will mark him as his equal but he will have power the Dark Lord knows not... and EITHER MUST DIE AT THE HAND OF THE OTHER FOR NEITHER CAN LIVE WHILE THE OTHER SURVIVES."

(Capslock for memorable line. :P)

Meeting, I'm off, probably be back a bit before the next hour.

Your question to mull (one of my personal favorites): who is Percy Weasley's girlfriend? (Only one he's mentioned to have had.)

7/20/2010 #80

Head Girl, Penelope Clearwater.

7/20/2010 #81
skies never so blue

That is correct. -nods-

7/20/2010 #82

When you're ready:

What is the full name of the headmaster of hogwarts in books 1-6/

7/20/2010 #83

Professor Albus Percival Wulfric Brian Dumbledore; Order of Merlin, First Class, and Grand Sorcerer; Supreme Mugwump of the International Confederacy of Wizards; Chief Warlock of the Wizengamot; Founder and Secret-Keeper of the Order of the Phoenix. He is also famous for discovering the twelve uses of dragon blood and for the defeat of the dark wizard Grindelwald.

(...Yes, I memorized those some while back just so I'd sound impressive. XD)

Speaking of the dark wizard, what year did Dumbledore defeat him?

[And now I won't be back until I finish reading a chapter of HP to my mom, unless you're super speedy. Our meeting got over quickly tonight.]

Thursday 13

I have a question, in the second book Ron's dad is the head of...

7/20/2010 #85
skies never so blue

Thursday, this is a competition between Dreams and Gabi...

7/20/2010 #86

I'll answer it for kicks--Misuse of Muggle Artifacts Office. Which only he and Perkins worked in. Sad stuff.

(Assuming you were referring to the Ministry stuff.)

7/20/2010 #87

I'M BUMPING THIS THREAD because I want questions, regardless of who gives 'em, since I'm procrastinating on stuff for class right now. ^_^

Ariadne's Twine

Do they have to follow the guidelines? If not,

Why is Remus' last name Lupin? (In literal terms.)

Same for Sibyl Trewlany (I spelled that wrong... But first name: Why?)

7/21/2010 #89

Because it refers to wolves. (Lupus = wolf. First name is from the twins raised by wolves.)

Sibyll (Sybill, depending on whether you're US or UK) is from the prophet(ess) under Apollo.

ETA: Cassandra was the name of her, I believe, great-great-grandmother, referring to the future-seer who was cursed so no one would believe her even though her visions were true. :3
