I'm borrowing this from another forum. :3

This is Veritaville's first ever (official) Winter Holidays Fic Exchange!

Here's how it works:

You post here saying that you'd like to participate. In that post, state at least three prompts, but no more than four. They do not have to be winter-related.

You will have the opportunity to do this until December 1, 2011. On that day (or the day after XD), I will be sending you a PM with a person's name and pen name. You will then come back to this thread and search for their pen name; you will take their prompts are write a fic for them. Do not tell anyone who you are given.

On December 31, 2011, you will again come back to this thread and post something along the lines of, "[Fic Titled Hyperlinked to the Fic], for [insert recipient here]."

Rules:

i. Your fic must be between 500 and 5,000 words. :3

ii. It needs to be on time, and for the person you are assigned.

iii. You are required to review the fic written for you.

Happy writing! :D

Q - Do they have to be for PJO, or can they be for any fandom?

Q - Do you choose one prompt, or all of them, and can you do multiple?

PJO. :D

You use all the prompts your assigned person gave. . . and what do you mean by multiple?

Like, if we have to use all of the prompts, can we write multiple stories rather than throwing them all in one?

11/14/2011 #13

Hm. Best to keep it to one. (And yes, use all of them. :3)

1. Changing, changing, but what if I was the same man? Same man I've always been.

2. "You waited forty days to talk?" "You waited 40 days to cry?"

3. It's about when you wake up in the morning and the snow is already coming down and it's bright between the buildings where the sun falls but already dark where the shadows are. And it's all about the want. What do you want? Because if you don't want something you've got nothing.

RACH WAS IN NEED OF ANOTHER PERSON TO MAKE IT EVEN SO ~HERE I AM.

(then she told me that I needed to think of prompts so I mildly panicked)

-

i--It doesn't help when he manages to set the table on fire either.

ii--about three things I was absolutely certain. Firstly, I was hungry. Secondly, there was a part of me--and I wasn't sure how dominant that part was--that really thought my stomach could handle eating four foot-long subs in one sitting. And thirdly, I was absolutely going to attempt to do it anyways, laws of nature be damned.

iii--He wasn't extremely fond of being forced to spend time with them, but he was happy about the fedoras. Really, the fedora was the only good part about this whole situation.

(idk it's past eleven and I'm sleep deprived.)

Okay~!

All participants should have received a PM from me today.

(If I did not, PM me.)

(Also, I think I might have messed up on the post numbers, so just go by the penname if a problem happens; if still too confusing, PM me.)

-- Tzadikim, I aplogize for spelling your penname wrong. ;~;

(Also, again! PM me; I like talking to people. :3)

Don't worry, Rachel. Tzadikim is the plural form of Tzadik, so I have to stop and think at times to remember which form I'm using.

And I'm loving the prompts that my screct person has written. It is coming easier than I expected.

Oh, good. :D

And glad you're happy~

Question: Are there any rules about the way we interpret the prompts. Like, do we actually have to use the words of the prompt in the fic or anything like that? Or is it just abstract usage?

o.O

12/2/2011 #27
bleachers

No rules. :3

You may interpret the prompts as literally or as abstractly as you'd like~

Question, tho. Is it all in the PJO fandom? Or is there others?

It's all PJO, love. ^^
