http://www.fanfiction.net/s/5368369/1/Sex_Everyday_Keeps_the_Doctor_Away

So, recently one of my stories, Sex Everyday Keeps the Doctor Away, has come under fire by a group called the Literate Union. They think of themselves as the police of fanfiction and have reported my story and stories of my fellow fanfiction friends and authors. They feel that a story should be up to their "level" to be allowed on fanfiction. They ask their underage members to read M rated stories and then report the stories, not the underage members that are reading out of their rating. They also harass and cyberstalk the authors that they carry the vendetta against. Since the issue started, they have gone after two fellow fanfic authors, Preciousfairymom80 and CullenXVamp. My story is not the first that they have attacked and it won't be the last unless we stand up against them and let fanfiction know that we will not tolerate their actions and behavior. They have a list of stories that they are against and have listed the ones that they have been successful in getting removed. The action of removing stories should be left to the fanfiction moderators and not this group of children/self proclaimed critics. Please help support the freedom to unleash our imagination! Email fanfiction and ask that this group be stopped and report their actions. Thank you for your help and support!

Funny shit. XD

It's OK, Gopher. Occasionally we can agree, even if we dislike the other's values as a whole. XD

I'll be civil if you remain civil. Deal?

Swelling with glee, joy and mirth altogether?

No.

The arteries are being clogged by the abundant anti-flamers of late, making the heart creak and shudder... D:

Look on the bright side: more drama and fun to come.

I am seriously going to regret this.

-face-palm- Doesn't she know that the mods put the "report abuse" button there for a reason?

I've been blocked from the forum already. I didn't even post anything. Or review the story in question.

That's okay, our house is full enough.

I rarely see him active in public.

Ominous? Not really. And I'm female, by the way. :)

Bonjour, Flames. Nice to make your acquaintance. ^_^

Gopher--I'm not that young...and I think all of us are mature enough to read the work we con. crit. If we aren't mature enough to read it, then we don't have to.

2/4/2010 #14
Elodie the Scribe

I'm eighteen. But when I was younger, the M rating never stopped me. I have every right to look at whatever fanfic I want to.

Also, golfer, the woman's story had an inappropriate summary, talking about sex and lemons. That's what caught our attention in the first place--summaries are supposed to be G-rated.

2/4/2010 #15
Flames Ahoy

Just wondering...she did make a valid point...that if indeed you guys are too young, you had no right to even be at a story rated M. I mean, none of you are that young, right?

*grins* I passed being too young for stories like that over a decade ago. But the point of the age rule, I think, is in part so that anyone can enjoy this site. To be a member and post stories, the age requirement is thirteen. There is no age requirement or limit to be able to read stories.

No, she didn't make a valid point. M on this site doesn't it's unsuitable for younger members, just that it's more mature than most, a.k.a, violence, swearing, implications of sexual themes. What she has is outright porn and shouldn't be on the site.

I swear I'm stuck with this curse of confusing new people's genders. I always call the other by their opposite sex if I do not know them.

Forgive me. Anyhow, it is a pleasure to finally make your acquaintance.

I'd like for the story to be plain removed. Or her account.

Bah, coward. She deleted my posts and blocked my sock-puppet account. Still, with reporting her story about thirty times in the past five days, I don't think it will be there for much longer. And if she leaves...Well, it's an added bonus.

2/4/2010 #21

Of course, if the story is removed she's gonna come back and scream at us in her noobly way.

In that case, I'll be packing popcorn.

They think of themselves as the police of fanfiction and have reported my story and stories of my fellow fanfiction friends and authors.

In my humble opinion, all members of this site are a part of the military that fights against rule breaking and horrible crap. Only some members, however, are willing to form a militia to uphold the duties that are bestowed upon us by the admins. That duty is called the report button :D

They feel that a story should be up to their "level" to be allowed on fanfiction.

Their level? No, they just want it to be at the site's level.... then again, they are at the site's level, so, yeah, I guess their level.

They also harass and cyberstalk the authors that they carry the vendetta against.

You seem to be the one with a vendetta, not them :P

My story is not the first that they have attacked and it won't be the last unless we stand up against them and let fanfiction know that we will not tolerate their actions and behavior.

Unlike the admins :\

The action of removing stories should be left to the fanfiction moderators and not this group of children/self proclaimed critics.

*Facepalm* I'm sory, but... does she read what she writes? LU members can only report a story. The ADMINS have to delete the story. The ADMINS deleted the stories that broke the rules because they don't want it here. You have to be blind not to be able to see it. Were you so in love with your own writing, so egotistical, that you can not see such an obvious thing? XD Man, you are a cash cow for fun! I feel like Dracula in a blood bank.

Thank you for your help and support!

You're welcome for the entertainment.

Ah, so the kimen is trying to raise hell in a handbasket? What fun. Can't wait for the encore.

Here's what I'd like to see her do;

1. Tone down the story; she can keep all the sex in it she wants, but not do what she was doing.

2. Tone down the summary; no explanation needed.

That's all. And then, she'd be just fine.

Just thought I would add a tidbit of input on the thread about me. Go check the story now! HAHAHA! It complies to fanfiction's regulations and rules. Just thought I would add to the thread about me. Thanks and have a wonderful day!

Your story still is in violation to the rules.

Okay then.

HAHAHA! It complies to fanfiction's regulations and rules.

Nope, still doesn't comply. In fixing one violation, you've created another! I wonder if you enjoy the masochistic attention. Not behaviour befitting of a mother, now, is it?

Just thought I would add to the thread about me. Thanks and have a wonderful day!

Oh, my day certainly is better, now that I've seen your particular brand of stupidity in action. It's even more wonderful that, in the end, you'll have accomplished nothing, and that the end result will still be in our favour. Cheers~

Dunno what she did to start with, since I tucked in early that night, but this time around she's stuck about a hundred words of story to the end of her non-chapter to try and shut the admins up.

She's still telling readers to petition for MA (interactive), and she's still attacking us in a rant that takes up most of the chapter (non-story), etc.

Still against the rules. Are you aware of the definition of porn?
