Nix threw back his head and laughed a cold, hollow laugh. "I underestimated you. This might actually be challenging!" Nix then vanished, preparing a Shadow Force attack.

Narisa crouched slightly, bracing herself for an attack since she doubted her ability to dodge. "You know, I almost always suggest getting away from a threat," she commented to the small group. "But it just seems to be bringing us to larger ones, doesn't it?"

Since Piedro had Sucker punch and had used it against him, Nix decided to get rid of him first. He reappeared behind Piedro, and lashed out at him with Dragon Claw.

"Gah!" Nix winced heavily as the Dragonbreath collided with his body. He turned to Katherine, fury in his eyes. "You're done for." He picked up Piedro and flung him at Katherine.

Narisa's eyes widened and she instinctively froze at this, but she quickly shook herself out of it. Hoping that Piedro and Katherine would be ok, she attacked with Night Slash while Nix's back was turned.

"GYAH!" Nix finally fell to the ground with Narisa's attack, and he lay there, breathing heavily. "Fine. I will abate my assault on you...for now. I will return home and dress my wounds, and then we shall fight again." Nix then closed his eyes, as if concentrating.

Narisa, worried about some other final attack, quickly backed away.

"Oh, you won't." Nix suddenly unleashed a flurry of Shadow Force attacks on everybody in range. Narisa had backed away, however, so she wasn't hit.

Narisa's eyes widened, and she dashed forward and used Night slash on Nix, aiming for his stomach. "Get out of here," she growled.

The attack hit Nix square in the stomach, leaving a nasty gash. Nix was now heavily panting for real. "All right..." he said. "I've gauged your powers, and next time we meet, I'll be prepared..." Nix then vanished again, but he did not reappear.

Narisa let out a long, tired breath. She looked around at the others, though also kept a wary eye out for any other danger. "You guys okay?" She asked.

Narisa pursed her lips. "Wonderful."

"Katherine's got it," Narisa said with a nod, before walking over to examine Piedro and Lucas.

Worried about why they were unconscious, Narisa reached down and carefully shook Piedro's shoulder.

Piedro groaned, before muttering "Ugh...Why'd you wake me? I was sleeping..."

Narisa smiled slightly in relief, before rolling her eyes at his comment. "Yes-- in the snow. Not particularly good for your health, if you ask me."

"So have I, but it doesn't mean I felt the best afterwords," Narisa said wryly. She looked to Katherine. "We should probably get somewhere warm... again... Can you walk?"

"If it comes to that, one of us will help you," Narisa decided, before glancing over at Max. "On that front, how good an idea do you think teleporting somewhere different would be?"

"I don't know anywhere outside of Celestic town... you'll have to give some suggestion," Narisa mumbled.
