Professor Rowan's lab is found at Sandgem Town.

It was beutiful day in Sandgem as A boy with googles worn on his forehead walked off the fairy. He was sporting tan shorts with several pockets, a plain red t-shirt, and a tan vest with no sleeves.

"Yooooo~" he yawned as he stretched his scrawny arms above his head "That was a real lazy ride, I need to learn to not sleep upside down" he spoke to no one inparticular.

Meanwhile...

The bow was still standing on the sandy shore, not all taht sure what to do. When outof no where a white stick hits him in the head.

"Ow!" he yelped clutching his nogen ruffluing his hands through his chestnut hair feeling for the bump. he looked behind him and saw a small creature. The thing was Dino in appearence, but stood on its hindlegs. Its eyes were black; however, the rest of its face was masked by a skull. The boy looked at the thing annoyed for a bit, but smiled seconds later merily.

"Cubby, you really need to learn a better way to say hello" he said looking at the small animal leaning down to it until he was at eye level. "For a Cubone, your strange..." his smile widened "but I wouldn't have you any other way."

The small dino jumped into the boys arms shouting "Cubone~!"

The sight before him could only be described as odd at best. Just at the boys feet was a large bird a 'Latios' he thought it was called. Looking down at it was truely strange, this one way staring contest would have gone on if not for the Cubone leaping from the boys arms and poking the sprawled out creature with its bone.

"Uh..." he thought blankly.

The Cubone looked at the bird with a blank stare. This didn't last long though for it gave a cheeriy sounding "Cubone!" and presided to knock the Latios on the head with its bone.

The boy was not sure what to do next after his smaller companion bonked the bird on the head, causing it get upset. However, he noticed it looking at him a little surprised, as if not noticing him until now.

". . . big Dove" he then gave a big smile at the creature and started to dance, which his Cubone mimicked and started to twirl on its tiptoes.

Though after a bit the boy fell from exhaustion "Food~" he said into the sand, most llikely from hunger, but as if to prove his point his stomach growled.

The boy looked up at the Pokemon from his slumped position in the sand.

"Whats it saying?" he thought as he got into a sitting position, legs crossed.

The cubone beside him stopped its twirling to look at the bird then its trainer, but the boy just continued to stare.

"...Now do you understand me, kid?" is what it said, or at least that's what he thought it said. The boy continued to gaze at the bird, but after a few moments helooked at Cubby, then Latios, then Cubby, Latios, Cubby and so on and so forth until the boy seemed to remember something.

The boy reached to touch his head and wincedat the filling of his bump from earlier.

"Cubby, I think you hit me a bit to hard on the head" he said looking at the small Dino "That, or I just heard this big pigeon speak human." he finished looking at the 'pigeon' in question.

(Yeah it did, the checking thing on this is odd)

"You look like a pigeon to me" the boy replied scratching his stomach "But it's a pleasure to me yah NecoJi, names Low" he said "and this here's Cubby" he finished patting the small creature on the head. The boys stomach dicided then to growl once more, this time sounding like an angry Ursaring.

At those words Low acquired a smile that went from ear to ear. "You said the magic words!" Standing up he pointed to Sandgem and shouted happily "Onward~!"

Cubby following behind shouting a equally happy Cubone every now and again.

"Eh? Why not?" Low asked quizzically, blinking a few times for good measure.

Low looked at him rather confused, before saying "Really? Besides you being able to talk I'm not sure what else seems any different." Was Low's blunt retort "If you really want a powerful pokemon, then I say look for a ground type. Other wise you're wasting your time." After this small speech, a glow appears around Low.

"Right, Cubby?" He asks his bone wielding companion.

"Cu, Cu, Cubone!" it replies while nodding its head.

"Pizza~!" Low chimed happily, with Cubby saying something that was obviously the same word in Pokemon language.

However, Low seemed to just realize something "Then maybe I wouldn't be in the situation that I'm in… What does that mean?" he thought to himself, but didn't let his confusion reflect on his face.

(Hello again :)

Low looked a little disappointed at this answer, but quickly brightened up and replied "Ok, then I'll have an order of Apples." He turned toward his Cubone "What about you Cubby?"

The little Dino's reply was to start dancing around like before, happily shouting its name several times. Low smiled at this action, before turning back to NecoJi.

"He'll have the same." He said with a large smile that faltered a bit before realizing something.

…

"AH! How did you know what I was thinking? Are you a psycho?" he asked pointing a finger at NecoJi.

Low quickly grabbed an apple and started to eat to quell his hunger, with Cubby doing the same. While eating, Low took a moment to look NecoJi over.

"You know, I still curious as to why your here." He stated after swallowing his apple "Not all too sure about why, but don't legendaries mostly stay hidden?" It was an honest question. Low wasn't very familiar about Legends but them being hidden was a basic fact.
