![]() ![]() ((Ff was being modified or something.)) Narisa gave him an odd look. "...Really? I mean, you could do that?" 8/12/2010 #151 |
![]() ![]() (Hmm...The site must still be under maintenance...) "I think I could do that, though I'm not entirely 100% sure..." Max said. 8/12/2010 #152 |
![]() ![]() "...." She stared at him for another moment, then shook her head slightly. "Nice. Wonder if it'd be legal." 8/12/2010 #153 |
![]() ![]() Max shrugged. "I don't think there'd be a law against a Palkia hybrid moving his house to another location instantly" he said. 8/12/2010 #154 |
![]() ![]() "Well, no, probably not. But they might pull up something like land ownership-- and the lack thereof..." Narisa said with a shrug. 8/12/2010 #155 |
![]() ![]() "Oh, right. I didn't think of that...Then I guess I'll have to put my house just outside of Eterna City" Max said. 8/12/2010 #156 |
![]() ![]() "That might work." Narisa said with a nod. "But, back on topic, we could basically go then. Since neither of us have anything we need to do." 8/12/2010 #157 |
![]() ![]() "Yep. Time to leave this town. Let's go!" Max said, before opening the front door and walking outside. 8/12/2010 #158 |
![]() ![]() "Ah... sure." Narisa followed a bit more carefully, peeking around the edge of the doorway for any other people before stepping outside. 8/12/2010 #159 |
![]() ![]() Max then closed and locked the front door after Narisa had exited the house. "And now, to the west!" Max said, before starting to walk towards the west exit of town. 8/12/2010 #160 |
![]() ![]() "Uh-huh.."Narisa said quietly, scuttling after him and instinctively falling into his shadow. 8/12/2010 #161 |
![]() ![]() There were less people outside now, making the chances of being seen less likely. "...Wow. The west exit of town's closer then I'd thought..." Max thought aloud, as he walked to the west exit; hoping that neither himself or Narisa would attract any attention. 8/12/2010 #162 |
![]() ![]() Narisa shrugged, keeping her head ducked. 8/12/2010 #163 |
![]() ![]() Though, just past the west exit of town was mountainous terrain, with a large amount of long grass down the centre of the route that lead to a cave inside Mt. Coronet. A few trainers could be seen wandering around both out of and in the long grass and Mt. Coronet. "Ah! Looks like luck is on our side! The long grass will provide excellent cover" Max thought aloud. 8/12/2010 #164 |
![]() ![]() "Yeah. Sure. How well can you smell?" Narisa questioned. 8/12/2010 #165 |
![]() ![]() "Uhh...My sense of smell is the same as the average human's..." Max said. 8/12/2010 #166 |
![]() ![]() ((I am playing a real-time online game with my family currently, replies will be slow.)) "Oh. Great. Well, then, the whole cover thing? Applies for them too." She grinned slightly, without apparent reason. "Be ready to duck or whatever if I say, just in case." 8/12/2010 . Edited 8/12/2010 #167 |
![]() ![]() (Ok.) "Understood!" Max said, before running towards the long grass. 8/12/2010 #168 |
![]() ![]() ((You decide if they need to avoid anyone and such?)) Narisa followed silently, half hunched over. 8/12/2010 #169 |
![]() ![]() (Yep.) As soon as Max reached the long grass, he quickly slowed down and started walking slowly. "...How good is your sense of smell?" he asked Narisa quietly. 8/12/2010 #170 |
![]() ![]() "Pretty good... I dunno exactly. Better than my hearing, and that's better than a human's. I can sometimes feel the pressure changes when they move, too," Narisa said, before glaring at the grass around them. "Though this stuff might mess it up a bit." 8/12/2010 #171 |
![]() ![]() "Oh. So I guess we don't have all the luck, then...We're just going to have to use our instincts to get through here then" Max said, before walking off through the grass towards the centre of the route. Though, not known to him, he was walking straight towards a trainer. 8/12/2010 #172 |
![]() ![]() "Not entirely, but yeah." Narisa said, following him and drawing in a deep breath. It took her a moment before she realized just how close the human scent was. Biting back a yelp, she darted forwards and grabbed Max's arm, trying to tug him back before the trainer noticed them. ((I've got to go. 'Night.)) 8/12/2010 . Edited 8/12/2010 #173 |
![]() ![]() (Bye!) "Gah! What's wrong?" Max whispered to Narisa; now standing still. 8/12/2010 #174 |
![]() ![]() Narisa held a finger to her lips in a shushing motion, and then mouthed 'human'. With wide eyes and taking periodic deep breaths, carefully paying attention to what she smelled, she started to lead him in the other direction. 8/13/2010 #175 |
![]() ![]() 'Human?...How'd I not sense the nearby human?' Max thought, allowing Narisa to lead him away from the trainer. By now, most of the trainers were in the long grass, searching for wild Pokemon. 8/13/2010 #176 |
![]() ![]() After they'd gone far enough to the left to avoid the trainer, Narisa started forwards again. 8/13/2010 #177 |
![]() ![]() In the southwest of their location, a trainer was walking around the grass, while another two trainers were to their north and east; both in the grass as well. The rest of the trainers were nearer to the entrance to Mt. Coronet. "...Where to now?" Max whispered. 8/13/2010 #178 |
![]() ![]() Narisa sniffed. The strongest concentration of human scent was their destination, the lightest to the south. She couldn't tell whether the southern was a trainer or just residual scent. There was at least one person to the north. "This way," she decided, tugging him southwest. If there was someone at the south, she hoped they'd angle past them or take a path that would get her enough time to confirm. 8/13/2010 #179 |
![]() ![]() As they were heading to the southwest, the trainer that was in the southwest of their location was now directly in front of them and getting closer with each step. "...This is very risky...Alerting one trainer would surely alert them all...Maybe we should have just tried to climb Mt. Coronet..." Max whispered; his voice now sounding nervous. 8/13/2010 #180 |
