Alright, so. I bet you're wondering, "What is this roleplay going to be about, anyway? Yeah, I see Greek Mythology, but..." That is a very good question.

Let's fast forward from the time of the mythological Trojan War. After the war, Greece began to rebuild itself, and there was peace. The Gods were generally calm, too, for a time. However, tensions have begun to build over 2,000 years. Alliances are being made; another war like the Trojan War is brewing. The prophecies say that this next war will be the greatest conflict that will have ever reached mankind; the death toll would be even greater than in both World Wars combined. What those on Earth are saying, though, is that this will be the end of the world.

2012. The time that humans have been discussing and dreading. The Mayan prophecies say that their calendar will end, ending the great cycle. Many are skeptic, and others believe that the end will come. But only the Gods know that this will be a time of great destruction. Of course they would know, they are the ones causing it, after all. They have to have a war every once in a while, anyway, otherwise they would get bored. The Gods have begun gathering their children from all across the globe to help them fight. Our story, heroes, takes place in Athens, where the great gathering of minor gods and demigods is taking place. Some have yet to discover who their parents are, while others already know.
