When an enemy from Treville's past, nobleman Charles Bircann, reappears in Paris along with Marie de Medici, mother of Louis XIII, it has far-reaching and bad consequences for the Captain, the King and the Inseparables.

The last time he saw her cry was when his guards were pulling her away from his dead brother as he told her to prepare to die. But this was different. She wasn't begging and screaming. If last time she wanted his attention, this time it was the opposite.

Love and Loyalty - What more could be expected of a Musketeer? Or even the sister of one. I have always looked up to those I so readily admired for their courage and devotion. Even if I was just a small part of their lives, could assist in small way to serve France and their Majesties, the King and Queen, then I would consider myself to have lived a glorious life indeed.

Yet another of my seemingly endless "Athos and D'Artagnan at odds" stories. This story mentions a past rape, but there is no specific description of the event. However for safety I am rating it Teen and up, and if any mention of rape is a trigger for anyone, you have been warned.

Returning from an extended undercover mission in Spain doesn't go as planned for Aramis. It seems that it isn't just the French who want to know what Aramis knows. New and old enemies work together to do whatever it takes to break him down, and Aramis isn't even sure that his brothers will come for him. *New Chapter :P*

The musketeers deal with the devastation after the garrison explosion, set on bringing down their last enemy, Lucien Grimaud. Meanwhile, Athos comes to a personal realisation,one he has been pushing into the back of his mind for a long time but that comes into the light at last, breaking down the final barrier preventing him from the life he desires. Athos is de aged into a child and its upto the other inseparables and captain treville to keep him out of trouble until they find a way to reverse it. Athos-centric because of course it is.

And that one word echoing in his mind - a name. He was the one saying it. "Anne." - She was his wife, and he has hated her for so long he could no longer differentiate love and hate. He wanted her out of his life. He wanted her dead. But she was his. His to love. His to kill. Just as he was hers.

One year into their roles as agents of an elite law enforcement unit, The Musketeers, Athos has a crisis of conscience when Aramis disobeys a direct order. Unsure of their relationship, they suddenly find themselves in a deadly situation. Will it make them or break them?

Aramis felt a pang in his heart, remembering what the King had told him outside the mausoleum, to not have been the one who taught his son how to ride, but he focused his mind on the fact that he was here now, and there was still so much for Louis to learn. He lets out a heavy breath, and for some reason it sounds like "Anne". It takes her a moment to realize he whispered another woman's name.

Treville is dead and the people in the garrison find it hard to believe. Directly in the aftermath of the tragic event, the musketeers are trying to cope with the initial devastation - with the help of each other and those who love them the most, realising even more how much the former Captain influenced their lives. Set between s03 episodes "The Prize" and "We Are The Garrison".

The threat of a potential uprising in Gascony promises to keep the Musketeers busy. But when someone from d'Artagnan's past comes back to haunt him, things unfortunately get worse, before they get better.

After the events at Christophe's tavern, life in the garrison goes on as usual, with one exception - the Captain's mind keeps drifting back to the refugee camp, particularly one of its inhabitants. Aramis thinks it's time to do something about it. Set after the s3 episode 'Brothers In Arms'.

Ever since I first saw Brujon telling Milady that Sylvie was "good, kind" when she inquired about her, I wondered how he came to that conclusion as we never saw him interact with Sylvie. That got me thinking about the "off-screen" moments that surely must have happened in the story. So this is my take on one of the possible moments in the garrison to confirm Brujon's words :)

Sylvie is framed for attempting to discredit the Queen and punished by flogging. After Athos and his friends manage to save her from much worse damage, Athos's conscience is tested to the core - he realises that only absolute honesty can help him reveal the whole truth about his painful past to the woman he loves and let her decide about their future together.

Captain Marcheaux and his Red Guard have been exposed for their contribution to framing the refugees for stealing the royal grains. It seems that justice won't be done though, and Sylvie and the musketeers must prepare for the frustrating eventuality. An expanded and missing scene from S03 ep02, 'Hunger' - what might have happened after Athos led Sylvie away from the tavern.

The musketeers and their captives are forced to spend the night in the forest before reaching Paris the following day. Aramis feels he needs to talk to Athos about something that might affect his friend's future. A missing scene from the beginning of s3 episode 8, 'Prisoners Of War'.
