While I may be an avid reader of fanfiction; in fact, I prefer it to the original thing in many cases, I'm unfortunately a slow writer and I can't exactly figure out how to start, so I haven't managed to write any stories as of yet. It took me almost two years to get around to writing up a bio.
Kaze No Stigma
Shakugan no Shana
Fate/stay Night(admittedly its a game too)
Dragonaut(minus the crappy ending)
Sosei no Aquarion(also minus the ending, although it wasn't as bad)
Anime Fandoms I like even though I don't like the anime:
Favorite Television Shows
Stargate SG-1 (the earlier seasons)
Earth: Final Conflict
Favorite Video Games
Final Fantasy 6
Final Fantasy 7
Final Fantasy 9
Avernum Series (preference for earlier games)
Note: Some of the above games are either shareware or Freeware. That means you can either get a demo or complete version for free. Websearch
Note: I am not a fan of harem as it seems to be implemented in fanfiction. I have no problem with situations where one character is the target of many others' romantic desires, but I prefer monogamous relationships in stories.
Note: I am not a fan of homosexual (i.e. Yaoi, Yuri) pairings. While I can accept and enjoy them if they were canon, I find that in the vast majority of instances the desired pairings are in no way canon.
Note: I find that for many fans, the above relationship types seem to be a way to implement their fantasies. In that way, they are like Mary Sues. This is not always the case, but it seems to be the driving factor behind many of these stories.
Evangelion: Shinji/Rei, Misato/Kaji
Ranma : Ranma/Akane
Gundam Seed: Kira/Lacus, Athrun/Cagalli
Tenchi Muyo: Tenchi/Ayeka
Love Hina: Keitaro/Naru
Sailor Moon: Usagi/Mamoru
Bleach: Ichigo/Rukia (I was originally Ichigo/Orihime, but after there weren't any remote signs of interest after the first 100 eps, well I got bored)
Fate/stay Night: Shirou/Sakura
Final Fantasy 7: Cloud/Aeris
Note: just because I haven't listed a pairing doesn't mean I don't support it. For example, there aren't exactly a wide variety of choices in Guyver.
