My name is Chelsey. I'm a junior in high school and a huge phan of The Phantom of the Opera. For a long while, i only wrote stories based in this fandom, but have recently branched out to write for Sweeney Todd, my new love.

I also hold interests in music, food, literature, and astrology.

I ship E/C, thus i feature this pairing in each of my phics. However, i am not a delusional, rabid phan who believes that Erik and Christine could have been together under any circumstances. Do i believe they shared a soulful, primal, untouchable connection? Yes, whole-heartedly. Do i believe they could have set their differences aside and lived together in domestic, marital bliss? Sadly, no, especially following the events in the Book, or even in ALW's musical. I believe POTO is, at its core, a romantic tragedy, meaning even if Erik had found love in Christine, it could not be explored or fully enjoyed. It was more a love of redemption and healing. I believe there was a reason Erik was apparently at the end of his life: they were not meant to be together, at least not in that lifetime.

However, when i desire to escape the harsh truth, I flee to the world of AU. Fit into different situations, I believe dear E and C could have been quite happy together.

That being said...

I can support R/C, but in my heart, I feel Erik and Christine are soul mates. I detest E/OW and E/M.

I fully support Gaston Leroux's Erik.

As for Sweeney Todd, I favor the Sweenet pairing, but I definitely think that conditions would have to be just right for such a pairing to flourish.

I haven't written for it yet, but i adore the Joker/Harley pairing.

Think You Know Erik?: A short piece of satire concerning us phans (yes, myself included) who fancy they fully understand Erik, that they are kindred spirits, that he would fall in love with them, etc.

Apathy: My first Sweeney Todd fic; a short chronicle of what may had happened had Sweeney not killed Mrs. Lovett.

Penance: A one-shot concerning Mrs. Lovett's dying thoughts.
