Author has written 16 stories for Harry Potter, Fallout, and Percy Jackson and the Olympians.
Joshua, twenty-six years old, Ohio, United States.
I've been writing fan fiction since my junior year in high-school, and as such, you will notice my writing style diminish as you venture further down my story list. I only really keep my older stories around out of nostalgia.
I'm not out to make anyone in particular happy with my stories, though I do enjoy when that happens.
If for any reason a decision that I've made in the course of my storytelling displeases you enough that you decide not to read anymore, do us both a favor and don't leave a lengthy review stating this fact to me. It is a waste of my time and of yours.
I do have abandoned/discontinued stories on my profile. I keep them around because someday I may work most/all of my favorite elements from them into other stories of mine.
I rarely leave reviews on stories.
Reviews along the lines of "Great story, update soon!", despite what many other fan fiction authors assert, actually do inspire me to continue writing.
Update--30 August, 2015
After upwards of two and a half years on hiatus/sabbatical doing life things, I've come back. Lots of stuff has happened in that time that I'd rather not go into and I'm sure most of you don't care too much about. Suffice it to say life has left me a jaded, cynical mess of a human being with an acute case of misanthropy and a general detachment from anything resembling a social life.
But on the plus side, the only thing that grabs my attention anymore is writing, specifically fan fiction writing. Thus, I've decided to pursue The Magical Saga of Halle Evans. I will be pursuing this one specifically, as the plot of A Door Ajar feels a little too cut-and-paste for me and Segue just didn't take of in a narrative sense. I'm sorry if you were a fan of those particular stories, but I will definitely be working in plot points from both without making it seem hashed together. Or I'll try to.
Every review you leave on Saga is great, and they do actively encourage me to sit back down and write more.
Thank you, anyone who is still a fan after all this time, or even if you just happened to find this page yesterday or something.
