You may refer to me as Noir or Lark. I am a self-taught writer of over a decade, having moved across various online platforms and eventually developing a number of self-inspired and introspective works. A number of those works are, at present, being compiled as a sort of portfolio to aid in my ambitions to move into the Film Industry to operate as a Screenwriter and Director.
At present, I find myself uninterested in further working on this site. This account, however, will be maintained, but any future works will more than likely be posted to tumblr, where I presently operate on a near-daily basis.
I am currently not accepting requests for the following: Beta-reading, co-writing, and story completion. The latter here meaning that I in no way am willing to consent to other writers adding on to the work that I have already done or having them finish incomplete pieces for me. While I understand the appeal of these inquiries, aside from interactions on my tumblr character blogs, I am preferential to completing my own works as I have developed and envisioned them. With this said, it is with genuine respect that I ask others to please not inbox me with such messages or take on my unfinished pieces as projects of their own.
It is my belief that those who write or struggle to write are indeed capable of their own ideas, and should adhere to a certain honor code at all times; particularly when applicable.
Additionally, I would very much appreciate it if people -- be they followers of mine or not -- would abstain from copying and pasting pieces of my writing here or elsewhere to other websites. Should you find a need to refer to my writing, please utilize the direct link instead. I offer my thanks in advance.
My outside accounts can be found as follows. Please do not be afraid of asking questions about my writing. I am more than happy to answer such questions. Accounts are listed in order of activity:
"No subject is terrible if the story is true, if the prose is clean and honest, and if it affirms courage and grace under pressure." - Ernest Hemingway, Midnight In Paris
