Formerly known as Laerkstrein. You can call me Noir. I am a self-taught writer of over a decade, having moved across various online platforms to eventually begin development of a number of self-inspired and introspective works. A number of those works are, at present, being compiled as a sort of personal portfolio.
I am a member of the EMS service, seeking a Bachelor's Degree in Emergency Medicine.
At present, I find myself disinterested in further working on this site. This account, however, will be maintained, but any future works will more than likely be posted to tumblr. There is a possibility that I may return for nostalgia's sake, though I cannot say when.
At this time, and for the foreseeable future, requests of any kind will not be accepted. While I understand the appeal of inquiries to finish or carry on my works here, I am preferential to completing my own works specifically as I have developed and envisioned them. With this said, it is with genuine respect that I ask others to please not inbox me with such messages or take on my unfinished pieces as projects of their own. I will not grant any permission for any stories posted here to be carried out further by other writers. I ask that you please respect my wishes and operate based on a sense of integrity.
It is my belief that those who write or struggle to write are indeed capable of their own ideas, and that all writers should work to adhere to a certain honor code at all times, particularly when applicable.
Additionally, I would very much appreciate it if people -- be they followers of mine or not -- would abstain from copying and pasting pieces of my writing here or elsewhere to other websites. Should you find a need to refer to my writing, please utilize the direct link instead. I offer my thanks in advance.
My outside accounts can be found as follows. Please do not be afraid of asking questions about my writing, as I am more than happy to answer. Accounts are listed in order of activity and relevance:
"No subject is terrible if the story is true, if the prose is clean and honest, and if it affirms courage and grace under pressure." - Ernest Hemingway, Midnight In Paris
