Author has written 5 stories for Guild Wars, Lord of the Rings, Hogan's Heroes, Star Wars, and Terra Nova.
Til Valhall is turning into a duology, Valraven and Suneater, which are turning into a study in applied phlebotinum and psychosis. Mercy is still taking over my whole entire life. One of these days I'm going to push them both onto the back burner and write My Fair Fuhrer instead (but it is not this day).
PSA: To those people who post one chapter of a story and call it "book one" and then make a WHOLE NEW STORY for chapter two: Y'all need to quit that mess. It's against the rules of ffn dot net, so knock it off before you get reported.
Gondor Calls For Aid:
Somewhere in the depths of this website is a oneshot featuring a DSF Revan and Canderous, and a whole mess of character deaths. It's rated M. It would have been published in '06 or earlier, which is about the last time I saw it. It's really short...like 2k words or less, but about 500 if I'd have to guesstimate. I cannot, for the life of me, find it or figure out what it was called, but if someone has something like this flagged or otherwise favorited, please let me know.
Cherry Pie: Winner of a Papa Bear Award. Take a gander, if you're a fan of Hogan and his boys.
The Stars Were Strange: Only recommended since these few words, likely the only words I'll ever put up, are some of the best I've ever strung together.
The Mercy of Darkness: A work in progress, affectionately thought of as my White Telerin Ship. Subject to frequent retcon, as it grows and changes on me.
So, I've been lurking around this site for a while now, a good bit of which I've been a member. I don't write professionally, but I wish I did. My actual career path is a bit out there, but it does give me license to quote Gildor Inglorion at will - "[A]dvice is a dangerous gift, even from the wise to the wise, and all courses may run ill."
I've been a fan of Tolkien's work before the PJ movies, a fan of Star Wars before the prequels, and a fan of Star Trek when they were still putting out the original movies, though I did start pretty young. I consider them my three great loves, in terms of fandom.
I don't 'ship,' per se, but I have a soft spot for Savik/ David Marcus, Carth/ Visas Marr, Leia/ Boba Fett, and Alia/ Liet Kynes. If you write in one of these veins, I would love to know about it. Beleg & Turin is my BroTP, but close seconds are Kirk & Spock and Holden & Miller. Haven't read Leviathan Wakes? Go forth. Now.
The single most riveting moment of my life was hearing a retired MG describe Lam Son 719, during which he was a young officer, as a 'Doo-dah.'
I admit to having a deranged sense of humor.
Other than that? I like to watch Justice League cartoons and drink diet Rockstar drinks.
I used to have more stories up here when I was much younger but they were all pretty lousy and they went the way of the Dodo (which is to say, I deleted them).
I has a, where the rest of my headcanon may be found lurking about, but is mostly me amusing myself by explaining American law in terms of Star Wars.
