Welcome to my little corner of the fanfiction universe! I started out writing of Archive of Our Own, but I wanted to branch out a little so here I am.

A little bit about me:

I was born and raised in Kentucky and I'm not likely to ever leave here. I'm 30 and I've been married to the absolute love of my life since I was 21. We have one little girl, a pack of dogs, and two cats. I'm a college drop out and I've got the student loans to prove it.

I am a sucker for a happy ending and on the rare occasion my story won't have one, I will warn you. Vehemently. I won't lie, I do have an unhealthy love for Byronic heroes, country boys, and cursing, so anything you read of mine is likely to have at least one of the three. Things will sometimes get a little angsty somewhere in the middle and I do write adult stories with adult subject matter.

PS: I keep my explicit content on Archive of Our Own only and, frankly, that's my main account. I have about 3 times the amount of works over there that I do here, both explicit and not. You can find me by searching for my username, Ava June, same as here. Although I will post mature content here, if you want the nitty-gritty scenes, you have to check out my account there. If a story posted here is cross-posted and has more explicit content on my other page, I will let you know it in the Author Notes.

I have a (relatively) new tumblr and you can feel free to follow me, if you like. I repost things I like and throw in the occasional relevant quote for whatever I'm working on, as well as answer any questions asked there.

"The Pendulum of the Mind" was nominated for the "Lost in Time" category of the Nook Summer Awards 2018. It did not win, but it was up against a number of other very well written stories and frankly, it was truly an honor to be nominated.

Please Note: I am currently taking an unplanned and unwanted break from writing. None of my stories are abandoned and it is my intention to finish all of them.
