Kay recently a couple of my friends got me hooked on fanfiction... and ever since I can't really seem to quit reading it.. So here I am with a FF.net account, being all sexy...
I can't write worth a gumball (which isn't very much -- only 25 cents..), so this account is mostly so I can beta for people (especially those who really need it.. message me on FF and I'll give you my email..) and comment on stories that don't accept anonymous reviews. But just for the heck of it, I'll put some random crap on here like I'm an actually interesting!
VV Harry Potter ST00F VV
Pairs I Like (or am okay with) :
Hermione/either of the twins, Hermione/Ron, Hermione/Harry (But we all know this ISN'T going to happen... . >.>), Ginny/Harry, Lily/James, Lily/Sirius (I know this didn't happen either... but it's fun to play with..), Hermione/A Marauder, Sirius/OC, and alotalot more. These are the top ones (although not in that order), but the ones I'm okay with would go on forevverrrrr...
Pairs I think are scarring the minds of little children in Africa:
Hermione/Snape (OMG NO. The thought of this could make Dumbledore die again, and we definitely don't want that to happen.. Seriously though. If you are going to go through with this, PLEASEGODIMBEGGINGYOU at least don't let Hermione get pregnant. BADD images of how that happened..), Anyone/Snape (If I didn't detail this enough before, you're never going to get it. I can't see Snape seriously with ANY woman, and neither should you.), Luicius/Hermione (Lucius = Narcissa. If he cheated on her, it would NOT be with Hermione. Gross.), Draco/Hermione (No. Just-- ...No.), Lily/Lucius or Draco (See above. Or technically, see left. But who am I kidding? I'm not technical. UNLESS of course, you count me getting pissed off when people think James was a seeker instead of a chaser, or Ginny's real name is Virginia instead of Ginevra, or that Blaise is a girl. He's not. For God's sake people, do your flipping research... And even if you didn't feel like doing the researh, you can get most of this from only reading tho books. Most of the time you don't have to scrounge around digging though JKR interviews and DVD commentaries or those insane contests where you get to ask her a question if you win. most of the time only the 5-year-olds from Alaska or Russia win those anyway, so it probably wouldn't help much. While we're on this subkect, bad puctuation/grammar pisses me off too, but we won't get into that yet..), any "good girl"/ any "bad boy" (You know what I mean, right? No Death Eater associated person with a Dumbledore-associated person. I guess it's okay if the feelings aren't mutual, so at least one side has their head on straight, but the Final Battle is NOT going to end with Hermione and Draco's love conquering all, like in Pocohontas. This is J. K. Rowling, folks, not Walt Disney.) I'll read any of these for the sake of beta-ing, but if I was going to write something, (which I'm not, so I guess I don't have any argument on this subject), I wouldn't do one of these pairings.
On a side note, I just reread that, and basically I don't like age differences you could meansure in decades. It's okay if Snape got with some girl in MMWP time. Even though it's still sortof awkward. But hey, whatever floats your boat.
And for those of you who are wondering what my favoritestest paring is, it's Dobby/The Squid. Definitely.
I also like Peter Pan, and those two (Harry Potter and Peter Pan) are the fandoms I'm "well-versed" in. I'm not opposed to editing other subjects, but I won't know how to spell the name of the great lost king of Chubacca Land who went on a crusade to fight for the rights of rollie pollies. Or how he was supposed to get there.
Some authors not on FF.net that I stalk : Vivian Van Velde (Don't you just love that name? It rolls off your tongue so nicely... Vivian Van Velde.. Awesome.), Meg Cabot (or her alias, Jenny Carrol. :DD), Sarah Dessen, Amelia Atwater-Rhode (She wrote and published her first novel at age THIRTEEN! Yay for young authors! Also, she does the whole damsel-in-distress thing so awesome-ly I could just give her my cookie! And ask my friends-- that's a VERY big deal.), J. K. Rowling (What more can I say?), Annette Curtis Klause (Another fantasy writer-- awesome.), L. J. Smith (one of the books in her series, "The Vampire Diaries," did an AWESOME scene of I'll-give-up-my-life-for-the-good-of-the-rest-of-humanity selfless humility kind of thing. GAH! I could seriously live off of this stuff...), and soo many more (once again, not neccesarily in that order..)
Some of my favorite movies (there are too many to list them all, and I change my mind so often that this will probably be pawned by greater movies by next week, but they are still watch-worthy.) : HARRY POTTER! (OMG so hott..), Pirates of the Caribbean (Johnny Depp is an AWESOME actor.. I would watch him do a commercial and be satisfied for months...), Fight Club (one of those cool multiple personality movies), Moulin Rouge (A Paris(sortof)-style "The Notebook"), Monty Python and the Holy Grail ("WHAT is you favorite color?" "Yellow! No, green! BLUEEE!" ...So much awesome random-ness it could be my hero), Kill Bill, Emperor's New Groove (Kronk is my home boy...), The Matrix, Zoolander (I love that guy's expressions..), Phantom of the Opera (Although I'm not nearly as obsessed as some of the other people I know coughcoughmyfriendscough), Aladdin, Mr. and Mrs. Smith (I like Angelina Jolie... she always gets great roles in action movies - like Tomb Raider and stuff.), and Harry Potter. Especially Harry Potter.
Some great websites you should go to:
My website, aand thats about it right now. I have a DeviantArt if you've stalked me enough to know what to look for. Which shouldn't take long. It's pretty obvious.
That's it for now, my fellow Homo Sapiens. TA TA!
