I am sorry I haven't updated in a while. I was busy with sewing and everyday living. I really didn't have anything written that was worth publishing.

Life has been slow. I have been dealing with seasonal depression. I hate snow, cold and short days of sunlight. On weekends when I do most of my writing, I rather sleep and think of what to write. Weekdays, I rather be sewing and crafting.

I will try to update more but it is a struggle.

Well, Death's Deal is in the hands of someone else. I will post more information when he starts posting. Until then, stay tune.

It looks like my personal rant is paying off. The harsh reviews have thankfully, died down, but I will keep it up for now. It still needs to be said. It still needs to be read by those that just don't get it.

PERSONAL RANT:

I know that my stories are NOT for everyone. You should read some of the reviews I received early on for Poison Pen. They were down right vicious. However, there is no call to leave harsh criticism with no balance of positive feedback.

Didn't you ever hear the saying: 'If you can't say something nice? Don't say anything at all!?'

Personally all I see is people adding to the review counter and nothing else.

Lastly, if you want canon writing? My answer: 'Why are you reading fanfiction? It is definitely not canon.' I try my best to research my facts to the best of my abilities. Sometimes, it just isn't enough. People still are not happy. So again, why are you here if you want canon stories?

AGAIN! PLEASE NOTE: Flames will NOT be tolerated and will be deleted. I realize my style of writing isn't for everyone and I do not beg for reviews nor do I twist your arm to read my stories.

If you don't like it, don't read. Simple.

I got all set to do NaNoWrMo and then my mother fell ill. Then on Nov. 3rd, she passed away in her sleep. For the whole month of November, my writing, my creative thoughts and energy to type have taken a nose dive. I just couldn't work up enough energy to care. So I broke an eight year winning streak.

It with a very heavy heart to post that Frau passed away last night, right after I had posted. She went quietly in her sleep.

December 2014

Frau and I write under my user name of GenkaiFan. She adds the TLC that my dyslexic mind needs.

I've deleted most of my candy recipe off my profile. One of my peeves is spammy profiles that have nothing to do with fanfiction. So I like to keep my profile a modest size. You can easily google it: Seven Layer Candy or Magic Bars . However, you can have as many layers as you want as long as the dish can handle it. I like adding peanut butter white and very dark chips to mine.

Expensive but very good.

Cherry Tree is definitely abandon and completely dead. It won't be finished.
