Author has written 10 stories for Harry Potter.
Hm... What to put here?
Well, I'll just start off with the basics. I was introduced to fan fiction only recently due to a good friend of mine and the best day of the whole year: April Fool's day. Actually, I really hate that day and it's fairly hard to convey sarcasm without context.
I've read all six of the Harry Potter books and I must say I really don't like book six. Things weren't put together very well in my opinion. Especially the Harry/Ginny pairing. Seemed a bit too sudden. There wasn't much of a build up to that pairing, unlike Hermione and Ron since they've been going at each other for a while now. I really don't mind most parings, so long as it isn't slash. Sorry, I just don't feel comfortable reading it. And definitely not comfortable writing it. However, I must admit that I like pairing Harry and Hermione together.
The reason for that is Hermione is my favorite character both in reading the books as well as to write. For those who know me and the Harry Potter series will agree. And when I write my stories, Harry is usually the main character (although there are times which he isn't) and I want Hermione to be in the spotlight, not so much Ron.
My next favorite character to write is Severus. Many may not forgive him and hate him for what happens in HBP, as did I, but after reading one particular story with Severus adopting Harry, I soon realized that there is much about that character we don't know. All we see is the dark moody side of him, but in my opinion (after rereading HBP in search of more detail about Severus), he has compassion as well. Not much, but it exists.
Draco is my next favorite character to write, but I hate how he is depicted in the books. So weak, frail and dependent. And even if Draco becomes a stronger character in the seventh book, I will still not like him. This is why I portray Draco as a stronger character, but faces challenges of the mind to make him stronger. Sometimes Draco is good, sometimes he is evil. But my favorite way to portray him is walking on both sides.
As for Harry, he’s my favorite character to write as the main character. I don’t stick to canon when portraying him and I usually make him more lighthearted and good-humored. It’s more fun that way as I can have Harry mess around all the time instead of throwing all his mood swings and suspecting everyone of being against him. And I think Harry needs to be more childish and rash in the sense that he doesn’t take everything to heart as much as an adult would. And he needs to trust his friends more and try to work it out instead of snapping all the time. We don’t get to see the playful childish side of Harry much, so I decided to make him that way regardless of how old he may be.
Below are all the stories I am working on or finished. I do hope you enjoy reading them!
