Okay, will now have more time to post chapters since I'm no longer working 1 full time job and 1 part time job. I'm gonna start right now, in fact.
In regards to the person who posted the guest comment on my story, And You Thought You Had It Bad-- I would have sent this to you By PM but I am unable to so I shall put it here. Scott and Kurt had a spat, a difference of opinions in the wee hours of the morning. Scott had been up practically all night looking for Eve despite the horrible first impression she gave everyone. It's logical that he wouldn't be super-chipper and supportive on little to no sleep. And brothers fight-- crap happens and they will make up. And everyone was on Rogue's side...well, maybe not Kitty but they have always clashed. Scott was just as pensive about being around Rogue as everyone else because Mystique made her believe the X-men tried to kill her. But let's face it, people change and people can become friends.
As far as Kurt's attitude goes, he's the only one who actually had a real conversation with Eve. He's the only one who can be on Eve's side. He knows that if he's not, she'll be as alone there as he used to be before the Institute. So he got testy because Kitty's judgemental and Scott's grumpy. Notice how he left before he cursed in front of everyone? I believe that everyone has a slipping point where they can take no more and they let loose. It's perfectly normal and since this isn't his overly-religious self, he's entitled to a little cursing of his own. And he probably does that away from everyone else so he can cut loose and then return to them the happy-go-lucky elf everybody knows and he'll apologize in the next chapter and explain himself better after he's eaten and calmed down.
I freely admit to disliking Scott and Jean and Kitty but I won't change their character just to fit my storyline. There will always be a reason for why someone reacts a little OOC and if it's not obvious in the thought processes of the character, then it should be in the actions of different characters.
But thank you for expressing your concern and saying that my story has potential.
