Author has written 32 stories for Chronicles of Narnia, Treasure Planet, The Santa Clause, Ratchet and Clank, Jak and Daxter, Numb3rs, Ratatouille, and Legend of Zelda.
In 2006, I brought my first story - a sheepish, unwieldy, melodramatic Narnian story - to FFN. The moment I got my very first review, I was hooked. For a year, I read happily and wrote madly - mostly Narnia, but a bit of Treasure Planet as well. After dabbling in some fics for my favorite PS2 games, I took a hiatus from FFN in the middle of 2007. I came back in late 2008 and discovered that I can also write for Ratatouille. In early 2009, I discovered Zelda and all its awesomeness and started plotting an end-of-the-world story for Hyrule which collapsed on its pasty little face.
But something weird happened to me after that - I participated in and won NaNoWriMo 2009, and my novel - the first novel I've ever completed - has swept me up into a whirlwind of enthusiasm, creativity, and generally doing stupid and wonderful things because I can. I want to see it through to the end, and I'm excited about the possibility of life as a bona fide author.
Now it's nearing 2010 and...I can't believe it - I'm considering the possibility of quitting fanfiction for good. It's not for lack of ideas; I've spent a few days out of the past month writing drabbles for Zelda, Ratchet and Clank, and Ratatouille. Maybe it's just because I'm still starry-eyed over my NaNo novel. But I find myself groaning when I sit down to write fanfiction, and giggling madly when I sit down to work on my novel, well...that gives me a pretty good idea of which one is my life's calling. I'll stick around - reading and reviewing, lurking in forums, doing the occasional betareading - and I'll leave my current stories open, but I won't be finishing any ongoing stories or publishing new ones for a while, if ever again.
THEREFORE I AM NOW ON INDEFINITE HIATUS FROM WRITING FANFICTION.
I hope you enjoy my stories - Narnia, Treasure Planet, Ratatouille, or otherwise. Thank you for your readership and all the great reviews, and I wish you the best of luck in your own creative pursuits!
